It was the view we wanted.
It’s very pricey, the beds are small and not very comfortable. Also the weed smell will knock you out.

Location
Understaffed. Major error at check-in.

Great location and staff!
You can’t control the ac in the rooms in the winter. No cooling. Was a bummer because everything else was awesome.

I loved being able to look out our window and seeing the tree.
I thought the bed should have been on the opposite wall so we could sleep with curtains open and still be able to see the tree on monument circle.

My room wouldn't get warm enough

The property is close to everything downtown!
It’s pretty run down. You can’t adjust the heating and cooling during the winter so if you’re hot blooded like me—it’s best just to turn it off.

Central location, and it was nice that it had a bar open late. We arrived late after flight delays and were able to unwind, eat and have a drink at the bar. Bed was firm. Room spacious.
Place is showing its age. Furniture look beat up. Elevators need an update. Pillows were terrible - too mushy.

With in walking distance to the Convention Center for the ffa nationals. Workout room. Very friendly and very helpful house keeping.
I paid for a two bed one room but I got one bed and a rollaway. Breakfast buffet was advertised included, but had to pay for it. I was charged an extra 600.00 dollars which I had budgeted for food and 1 or 2 places to sight see. My daughter and I had to share 1 meal a day for 3 days, till I could get some money. And we didn’t get to see anything. I plan on coming to Indianapolis next year but will never stay in that hotel and or recommend that hotel to anyone. 4 days it was my daughter and I and two days my daughter, her friend and myself stayed in the room but everyday was a different price for the room. And I had to pay the taxes through Booking.com then at the hotel again. Booking charged me 2122.00 and the hotel charged me 2760.00. Then I get printed out receipt and it says 2229.00. For the room we got and the length of time I reserved in advanced it was too expensive. I was in room 1902 for 6 days and wished I could have gone else were.

Even with the renovations in process, the location was clean and accessible. The staff was knowledgeable, welcoming, and polite.
Parking was a little confusing and pricey

Very clean and we were upgraded to a suite for free and given late checkout. Very comfortable beds and sofa!
There seemed to be a big confusion about using a third party booking company. We were charged twice for our stay, we paid prior on booking.com and then charged again at check in. We brought this to our attention and were told that “We did not pay on booking.com”. We had to pull up our checking account and our receipt to prove this. We were then told to wait while they checked. The manager came back and said “You are in luck” we found the payment you made on our records… she then said this will happen when we use a third party and urged us to not use in the future? It was pretty frustrating as this was most convenient for us and the payment had been there all along they just didn’t go the extra mile to check before charging us again.

Price, location.
Parking garage was closed and lobby a mess with construction. Valet service was slack.

It was right downtown and in walking distance from of the State Capitol and directly next to the SalesForce tower (if that’s what you’re there for). The outdoor pool was deep — up to 8’! Good breakfast with friendly wait staff.
No parking on site!! Construction going on for 2+ years but didn’t reveal that anywhere in the hotel information when booking. No drainage in the room’s shower (had to request that to be fixed). No contact about vaping policy—was given $500+ citation and credit card charge with no warning. It’s also very dated/dingy/dark fixtures.

I loved the pool, I just wish it stayed open until 10pm so I could enjoy the view of the Monument and the lights. It's a beautiful location!
The hairs I found left in the bathroom, on the toilet and the bathtub. Also, the tub had a ring around it. May I also suggest offering free coffee as well as water, in the lobby.

Very nice and clean facility with lovely staff.
The only negatives were the ongoing construction in the building and the parking garage was closed, so that I had to park around the block and lug all my bags quite a distance.

Not a thing

The room was clean.
When I checked in and got up to my room.. it wasn’t the king bed like I paid for. No communication or anything just put me with 2 full beds. When asking the front desk, they stated booking is over booking them for king suits and they didn’t have anymore available. That should’ve been communicated when I was checking in instead of just placing me in a room I didn’t pay for.

Location
Not even remotely as pictured. Very old and dated. Lock on door of room came undone easily. Could slightly open door even with deadbolt on. I was on the 16th floor and could still hear EVERYTHING outside. A/C did not work. Tub did not drain. Under construction and lots of noise. The pool area was not maintained. The hotel parking garage was not open and forced to use the valet service which was terrible. Slow car return and “misplaced” my car not once but twice. Hotel and valet service are two completely different companies so no way to get customer service with valet problems.

Great downtown location.
Rooftop pool
Thurman in maintenance
Carpets in room
Bathroom needed attention. Minor fixes
Pool definitely could use some TLC. Needs More umbrellas than 4.

Very clean property, and friendly and helpful staff.
The noise level from outside I could hear every single thing, cars, people, fireworks, police sirens. I could hear the people above my room stomping around and the people in the same hall as me, slamming doors and just being loud during quiet time. If it wasn’t for the noise levels this would have been a 10/10 experience. Also their parking garage is under construction, so you had a choice of paying $45-65 depending on the day, for valet parking or you could find the nearest parking garage which was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel

they charged me a $500 damage fee for smoking and I dont smoke nor does my wife. Ive been calling the hotel to try and get them to take it off but no one is responding.

I prepaid for the room through booking.com. The property took my credit card for incidentals and then charged me for taxes and fees a second time. When I brought this to the Sheraton's attention, in classic scam fashion, they said not us, talk to booking.com. Booking.com, for their part, said it's the Sheraton's fault, can't help you unless you can show me a bank statement with the charges (Credit card statement not adequate. Who pays for a hotel by direct bank transfer? If you do, then you may have more luck recouping inappropriate charges). So I am out $50, and would rather not deal with either of these companies again.

Lots of good places to eat with in walking distance.
The only option to park is valet. Making it inconvenient if you left something in your car. However, they did let us know to request the car 20-25 minutes before we were ready, and we rarely had to wait when doing that.
Front desk staff was not familiar with local places to eat, or even some of the streets around. Our toilet stopped up at 11:30pm the 2nd night. They had to move us rooms, which was good. However, the thermostat in the 2nd room was barely working, and they didn't offer a solution.
They also only offered 2 double beds, instead of 2 queens. That's pretty tight for 2 people in one bed. The pool is was nice, which is why we chose this hotel. It is old though.

I loved the location of the property.
I did not like that as soon as I entered the building I was asked “what kind of party are you having” I excitingly explained my bestfriend was celebrating her Golden 28 birthday. I was then told “we do not have birthday parties here.” I felt as if I was being profiled, I let the manager now I am almost 30 years old and we do not get hotel rooms to throw parties. We came to the Sheraton to have a place to stay for the time we were in town. As I got to the front counter, I was being charged for things I should not have due to the employee not knowing what he was doing. They did apologize after everything was taking care of. Also, during my stay we had a leaking ceiling right by the door entry way. The floor was completely covered in water and the sound of the water dripping was very annoying and made it hard to sleep during the night. I also had to call the front desk a few times because no one was picking up to have them valet our car up front.
