Near attractions and walkable. The staff were all very friendly. Loved the holiday themed bar! Lobby was warm and welcoming, decorated festively!

Would stay there again in a heartbeat

Initially, I chose this hotel due to the location. It was very close to the starting point and end point of the Indianapolis Marathon. Of course the facilities were beautiful and well-maintained. But the staff was what really made it shine. They were excellent.

My only frustration came when the Starbucks didn’t open the morning of the race. I understand it was due to the road closures for the marathon. But I really wanted my coffee.

Great location within walking distance to the convention center, attractions and restaurants.

We were able to walk to Lucas Oil Stadium and all the attractions and restaurants we visited during our stay. It is an excellent location.

Parking was quite pricey and the beds were more firm than I’d like.

I was very impressed with the staff; everyone I encountered was so courteous and helpful. In this ever-changing world, this was quite refreshing, and made my stay much better.

Nice but pricy

The location was very close to all of the major attractions in the downtown area. I walked to all of the museums and monuments within a 8 block radius and never felt unsafe. The facility was nice but way overpriced for a one night stay. Plenty of restaurant options within the hotel for someone that is a shut in and doesn't want to leave.

If I wasn't getting reimbursed from work for the stay, I would never spend the amount that I did to stay here. It's a hotel room, not a 24 hour spa with someone catering to my every need.

Don't go during conventions

The room was fairly quiet.

There was a sorority convention that took over the entire hotel. Couldn't get food, and the bar was packed with little service.

Weary but still made the best of my stay.

The food at the restaurant within the Marriott was very good. Tony was our waiter on our first morning and he was fantastic. We were actually hoping to have him the 2nd morning however he wasn't working the morning shift that day.

Breakfast was NOT included as it stated it was when I booked this property. Also, if you are a single female, be VERY careful in getting into the room you are set to be in. I walked into a man that was no one I knew and I wasn't even expecting to be in my room. They 'accidentally' put me in a room with this man thinking I was his partner. That is what happens when you do not check the person's identification. Took them over 20 minutes to rectify it then they just apologized and gave me a $20 off coupon for the restaurant inside. Not very happy at all about this. $20 is all my life is worth I guess to them.

Convenient location with great amenities and friendly staff - we loved it!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well maintained. I was happy for the on-site parking. We ate at Conner’s and had excellent service and delicious food. We loved the location for our concert at Lucas Oil, and there are so many sights and attractions within walking distance! I would definitely choose the Marriott Downtown for any future Indy travel. Thanks for a great stay!

Room was spacious and the bar lounge area in the lobby was really great

I had to call everyday to get my room cleaned. The last day I stayed the room was never cleaned. Also the M lounge has gone downhill. The coffee machine that was there is gone and there used to be more variety in snacks. The coffee that was provided was "ok" at best.

For the price not impressed at all

It was very hard to understand the people working the font desk. Room was not cleaned very well, found an angry Orchard bottle top on the floor, so made me think the floor was not swept. Restaurant staff at Conner very rude. Not friendly at all. Bell hops and valet were the best interaction with hotel staff.
