Old, uncomfortable beds, tiny rooms. Had to use one of the beds for our suitcases. Won’t be back. Dining options were horrible. The restaurant at the property reminded me of a free continental breakfast but cost $75. Didn’t eat it…. The Eagles Nest was nice. Service was decent, food was good, the Make host wasn’t friendly. He seemed irritated we were there.

The door of the standing shower would not seal properly - or did not have a rubber stopper, which inadvertently caused a lot of water to spill out of the shower onto the floor; Apart from this minor annoyance, the hotel was good and I enjoyed my stay.

The check in process went good. Upon entering the room it was very cold. Only 61 degrees though the thermostat was set at 80. Immediately went back to front desk and was told engineering could come look at it. After going to lunch and returning to the room, it was 64 degrees. There was no control of the thermostat and was told engineering would have to be contacted to change the thermostat Everytime. I don't believe customer service was handled properly in this case.

Very clean and well kept. I liked that it was in walking distance from our event and from everything else going on downtown. The parking is a bit much and a bit inconvenient since it's not come and go but that's to be expected downtown. The only issue I had was the towels could've been cleaned and inspected better but other than that the hotel was nice, we would stay again

The Hyatt is conveniently located right in downtown Indianapolis, which makes it easy to get around and enjoy the city. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. That said, the property itself feels dated. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the headboard (photo included) really shows its age—definitely something that should be replaced. For a brand like Hyatt, I expected more modern touches and a better night’s sleep. I also mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, but nothing extra was offered, which was a bit disappointing. Small gestures go a long way in making stays memorable, and this felt like a missed opportunity. Overall, great location and nice staff, but the hotel could benefit from some updates and more attention to guest details.
