The staff was great. The location was great but the room…not so much.

Staff were great. Breakfast was really good! Kudos to kitchen staff.

The comforters and sheets were stained. The water was not warm and the upkeep of the room in general wasn’t good for the price and location.

Parking was in a parking garage that was open to the public i paid 40 dollars for parking only to be told there was no parking available hotel was only access from one level of parking garage and it was very cold out had to pay for a parking spot in another lot and walk to hotell

Breakfast was great. Lots of options and staff was friendly. Location is amazing. We went to a game at Gainsville stadium directly across the street. We walked to dinner at Ruth's chris, and went to bars after the game. All in walking distance.

Easy to walk around and to get to restaurants, the convention center and the Lucas Oil Stadium.

The breakfast staff were very friendly. The gym was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice and easy to walk to many restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the convention center and the Lucas Oil Stadium.

The room we had was okay in that it had 2 beds and a bathroom but for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) it was small and no view (only the side of a building about a meter away) which meant it was quite dark and dingy. Probably best to request a room higher up and maybe one with a sofa for more room. I'm sure the hotel was not full so surprised we were given this room. Pool was over chlorinated in that it discolored my kids swim suits and left them with a strong bleach smell on their hair and skin. The breakfast was a little uninspiring but did the job.

Great stay — comfortable, convenient, and perfect for a quick weekend in downtown Indianapolis!

The hotel was clean, modern, and in a great location — just a short walk to restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice city view. Near to the arena as well

Great location, parking garage and free breakfast.

Breakfast was good. The location was perfect! We parked our car and walked to the Lucas Oil Stadium! We'll be back again for a basketball game and the best part, it's across the street! The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. Our stay was very pleasant.

Overall good stay , just caught people on a bad day I guess

Perfect area, everything is walking distance. Pool and gym were super nice and big. The rooms had a beautiful view of the stadium.

The staff was the only downfall, not saying all but the 3 females that I had encounters with were very rude. The male staff was super helpful and pointed me to everything. I didn’t understand the parking and i was just asking questions and the lady looked at me like rolled her eyes and gave attitude for no reason.

A big disappointment for me and my family

When I booked the room the parking fee of over 50 dollars was not mentioned. The pool was tiny compared to the pictures. We have two young children under 5 who love to swim but there were over a dozen teenagers that came in the pool unsupervised and started rough housing and splashing water everywhere and made it very uncomfortable for anyone to be able to use the pool we left after 10 minutes and reported it to the front desk. The room and hallway we stayed at also smelled like weed. Never coming back here

Breakfast options were fantastic. Location was great. It was clean and everyone was friendly!

They only had one server at the restaurant on a game night. It was slow and our order got screwed up but the server himself was great! He was just overwhelmed. I also didn’t like that you couldn’t access the stairs from the main floors. So after the game the elevators were super busy. I also didn’t realize it was going to be an additional $52 a day to park at this hotel.

This is our place to stay for a Fever game!

Hot fresh breakfast is always exceptional. King suite is spacious and comfortable. Location across from Gainbridge is great and walking to many places makes it worth the money.

We failed to tell maintenance that the toilet kept running.

Cable television did not work half the time, coffee in the lobby was cold and the cream was empty. The faucet in the bathroom had very low water pressure.

Overrated

We were there for an event at The Gainbridge Fieldhouse which is across the street from hotel so the location was good for us. The bed was comfortable. Having a bar with food was good but the menu was small and basically bar food.

When you walk in the front doors on the ground level there is nothing but a small open lobby with a few luggage caddies in the corner and a hallway with elevators. There was a valet man out in front and a woman wearing the same uniform inside. I asked her if she could tell me where the front desk was to check in and she told me "I don't work here." I then saw two woman exit an elevator and I asked them for help locating the front desk and they politely told me to take the elevator to the second floor. Check in was 3:00. We arrived at 2:45 and were told "our room" was not ready. Once in our room on the third floor, we unhappily discovered the view from our window was a huge air conditioning unit which was approximately 2' from our window. The unit was as wide and as tall as our window. Beyond the unit to the sides and rear of unit was a brick wall that was as high as the story above us. So in other words, our view was of a large air conditioning unit which was located in a cubby hole. When I used the bathroom in our room I discovered the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. (Yes you read that right.) I then chose to attach the seat myself rather than call for maintenance and wait an unknown amount of time. The restaurant that The Hyatt claims to have on-site is nothing more than a bar with bar food. We had a small house trained dog with us which we had to pay an extra $75 for the stay. There were no "accidents" or damage caused by our dog. I think that money should be refunded. I'm left wondering why did we pay double the price of our stay than nearby hotels because it was absolutely not worth it. Before submitting this review I could see this site is showing that I'm giving this hotel a 5 star review....I AM NOT. This is no more than a 3 star hotel.

Loved this hotel! The bed was extremely comfy, the amenities in the king suit (full size fridge, dishwasher, etc.) were great, and breakfast fruits were delish! Great location, and walkable to most city sites.

I would have loved to have an electric kettle (making hot water in the coffee machine or microwave just isn't the same).
