The B&B's location was great. A short walk to vieille Lille and other neighbourhoods. Our host Veronique was welcoming and very friendly and made great suggestions regarding things to see and do in Lille. The breakfast was delicious. A selection of breads, croissants and pastries, cereals, cheeses, jams etc. (no cooked breakfast). Very tasty, fresh products. A lovely place!
All in all, our stay at Au coeur de Lille was almost perfect. It is difficult to find something negative to say about this B&B. As I have to, I would say that the small kitchen in the room we stayed in (family suite) could have been stocked with a few more items. Such as a couple of plates or bowls (there were only 3 teaspoons, but no other cutlery or plates etc.).

The room and facilities were excellent. We received a very warm welcome and the breakfast each morning was plentiful and excellent.
The only problem was my fault in not reading the instructions correctly which said that I should phone 10 minutes before arrival. The outside door was naturally locked so I looked up the intructions and realised my mistake so then phoned. We just had to wait 5 minutes before the housekeeper let us in.

The location is very good, we could walk everywhere in Lille starting from the guesthouse. We loved the interior which is a successful mix between Art Deco and contemporary style. The breakfast is excellent, great food served in a tasteful interior. Veronique welcomed us very friendly and gave us advice about places to visit.
We have nothing but good memories from Au Coeur de Lille, thank you Veronique and Hanane!
Nothing we didn’t like!
