Character accommodation and great breakfast in central but quiet location.

Beautifully designed accommodation which was ideal for our family of three. We were warmly welcomed by our friendly host who provided a very generous and tasty breakfast and gave us excellent advice on how to get the most out of our short stay in Lille / Roubaix.

Charming 2-room guesthouse

Our host, Veronique, made us feel at home from the very first moment. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. But the real highlight was breakfast: a generous spread with homemade marmalades, fresh orange juice, delicious sweets, a variety of cheeses, and so much more. A truly memorable stay — highly recommended!

Everything was more than our expectation. Especially the host was very nice and she served us the delicious breakfast which was freshly made (5 star hotel class!). The room was really clean, and the bathroom was modern and functional.

To experience Lille at its best, this is the place to stay.

A Perfect location in the centre of the old town, beautifully decorated and with every comfort. Our hostess was charming and helpful in every way. We loved our elegant breakfast and to be staying in a traditional French town house. It was ideal to walk to the Zenith venue for our concert and to explore the old town the next morning.

Wonderful hostess and lovely room in a great location

Veronique was so kind and allowed us to check in a little early as we had to drop off our rental car and had a lot of luggage. The room was so beautifully decorated and spacious and we even had an extra bedroom if we wanted it. The bathroom was huge and the shower great. A fridge was in the room and an electric jug allowed us to make tea which was appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful, lovely fresh fruit and cereal and yoghurt then a lovely variety of bread ,pastries , cheeses and preserves. We were able to walk to restaurants not far away.

Stairs were very steep but Veronique very kindly helped with our bags.

As the name already suggests, it's located right in the city center. The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly, the breakfast unique and prepared with love. I wouldn't know how it could be done any better.

Perfect stay for a quiet gettaway

We had a lovely stay, the room was spacious and comfortable and the house itself was beautiful and impeccably clean. The highlight was definitely the hostess, who was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent, the street was quiet but close to everything. Highly recommended!

Large rooms with superb bed and nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast provided and all overseen by a very friendly and helpful hostess. She gave us some great suggestions. Do bear in mind the late check in time.

The bathroom was a little cold (however we were in the middle of the very cold snap). Though compensated for by an excellent shower.

The owner of the B n B was WONDERFUL and very helpful. She worked with our LIMITED French. The home was beautiful.

I liked having a separate room for my niece, but wish there was a bathtub and fewer stairs. (But the stairs are pretty typical European stairs.)

Au Coeur de Lille exceeded our expectations - nicest bed and breakfast that I have ever stayed in.

Au Coeur de Lille was exceptional in every way. I can not recommend it enough! Location is close to everything in Lille - the old city, a beautiful park, a nice bike trail, good restaurants, art museum, etc. We were able to walk to everything - including the train station. The room and bathroom are absolutely beautiful - very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Veronique was an amazing hostess - warm, friendly, gave us great recommendations on what to see and where to eat in this beautiful city. The breakfast was unbelievably good - fresh pastries, delicious breads and cheeses, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee and tea - just so good. It was wonderful to chat with our hostess and other guests (there are two rooms total) over breakfast. We were very sorry to leave when our stay was over. If you are traveling to Lille, I would definitely recommend that you stay here.

We liked everything! There was a heat wave in Lille while we were there but there was nothing that our hostess could do about that!

Absolutely lovely host (Veronique) and big, spacious room with huge bathroom and lovely shower. The breakfast was SUPERB.

Only complaint is that the location is a little noisy right next to a busy road, but earplugs would solved that.

Entrance door is not so visible from street, you should check more carefully. A table and chair would be recommended in a room, for those who are traveling for business and need space to work.
