Like been in a not good college dorm

Very very bare bones, nothing except plastic cups, heating that could not seem to move. Tiny room, bad lighting. Elevator not working . THE only thing location. Thankfully there for just one night . Staff nice & did there best

Great price for a hotel in the centre of everything!

The location was amazing! Right in the centre of all the wonderful shops and restaurants. Looking out of our window we could see the lovely buildings. It was really easy to find with a friendly welcome from the reception staff. The room was ideal to get our heads down and we had a comfy bed, clean bedding and a clean bathroom. Nice to have USB charging and a TV in the room. Breakfast was great - lots of choice and yummy pastries. Well worth the money! Other people have complained about noise from outside but I didn’t notice it and if I did hear people out and about it was just nice to be in the centre of the action.

It’s not that I disliked anything really but the room is slightly smaller than other hotel rooms I’ve stayed at but hardly a problem if you’re not spending too much time in the room. There was a slight noise from a boiler or something that woke me up a couple of times but nothing to write home about!

Great Location, breakfast was pretty good too

Location, Location, Location!! It is a nice comfortable hotel, not fancy, but clean, quiet and rooms are acceptable size. Nice shower. But the main plus point is where it is - right in the middle of everything. The best of Lille is literally on your doorstep and outside your window!

Great location for a city break.

Great location right in the centre of Lille. It was a perfect base for the grand depart of the Tour de France. Room was good, bed comfortable and the aircon did the trick.

The reception was a bit smelly and the lift was being serviced when we arrived and we had to take our bags up 5 flights of stairs. They did offer to help though. Other than that all good.

Would stay there again!

The location was close to all the locations we needed to visit in Lille. The room was very clean, easy to access, shower was good.

We could have used a hand towel. The air conditioner leaked when turned on more than 5 minutes. The bed was mostly comfortable but it kept shifting off the base.

Hotel is fine and basic but the problems were pretty grim.

Staff were efficient and pleasant

Received an email quite late the night before to say the lift wasn't working at the hotel - lift had clearly been out of action a pretty long time due to ongoing work - area in front of the lift was being used for storage, which filled the lobby. There was a permanent bad smell of drains, particularly on lower floors. We were assigned rooms on the 3rd, despite stairs being the only access. The only recognition of the very problematic situation was an offer to carry our bags up the stairs. In my opinion, the hotel should have been clearer at point of booking that the hotel was essentially not as advertised - this is a large chain so it shouldn't be difficult to offer alternative rooms - or perhaps a choice between that and a very large discount! Very, very disappointing. Meant we couldn't spend time in the hotel except to sleep.

You could do better...

Location. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location.

First, when we arrived, the receptionist was nowhere near friendly. Everyday when we passed the front desk and she was there, not even once she replied our bonjour or bonsoir. Second, we found that the front desk area has this unpleasant smells. Very different with the smells in other floors. Maybe opening the doors or windows might help with the smells. Third, there's only one trash bin in the room, located in the bathroom. We noticed that they cleaned our room (the towel were replaced), but they never emptied our bin during our stay. Fourth, is the hotel expect us to take the water from the sink in the bathroom? Other accor hotels have at least a dispenser at the lobby/front desk area. This hotel only provides small dispenser that maybe only can fill 2 water bottles. Maybe the hotel expect us to buy from outside? If yes, it will be our first experience after our countless stay in the accor group hotels.

A great hotel to explore a beautiful city

The lady in reception was absolutely fantastic, so nice and friendly. It made all the difference to our trip. She even gave us free breakfast because the fire alarm had gone off. The location of the hotel was perfect, and the room was modern

Near the Opera in Lille

Great Location. Very comfortable room. Gluten-free bread and madelines were available at breakfast. We were traveling by bicycle and were able to keep our bikes in our rooms. The hotel does not have a bicycle or storage room.

Amazing value for money, the room was beautiful & so comfortable. We had incredible views of Lille from our hotel & were really impressed with the high room/balcony. It was the perfect location to explore Lille. We will 100% be returning.

I would recommend the owners to reduce the price even more to show the level of this hotel.

The staff were kind and welcoming and let us into the room before the check-in hour. The hotel is right in the Lille old town, so very convenient to go out for walks. The room was quite clean.

There is no lobby at the hotel, just a tiny spot to sit down. The room was very old school, hyper sober and minimalistic. There was actually almost nothing in the room. Strictly two towels, toilet paper and liquid soap. No paper napkins, extra towel, water or anything. If I remember correctly there was no plug near the bed, there was only one near the working table. The floor was cold and there was of course no slippers. The window is tiny so you feel like in an aquarium. Happily we moved to a different hotel next day with all included for a slightly higher value.

Perfect location for a city break for a few days.

Great central location, short walk from the Eurostar and train station. Wonderful for shopping and sight seeing. Staff are great, you’ll see other comments about lack of tea/coffee making facilities but just ask and you can have a kettle.

Small room- but that’s to be expected in a city property I guess. Bed isn’t the most comfortable and the property needs a refurb, but I believe this is happening soon. It’s ok for 2 or 3 nights but any longer and I’d look for a little more comfort. Hope the refurb is a success as it could be a fantastic property.

Perfect location. And breakfast was delicious and with some variety of choices.

The room was too small. I book that hotel because the first time I had an amazing room decent size with view on the little square and view of Lille. This time no view, windows were too high.
