Good rather than great.

Perfect location, nice staff, spotless room cleaning, good breakfast, high ceilings, large rooms, good aircon

Very noisy rooms due to plastic flors rather than carpets, poorly maintained curtains and plumbing, bizarre beds on wheels that move unexpectly!

Good location. Hotel staff not very helpful with request for two single beds in one of the two room.

Location was excellent hotel was near to almost everything.

All the hotel especially the reception was very dark and could do with better lighting. Also the bath towels are very small more for a child than an adult. When we booked we did ask for one of the rooms for two single beds but on arrival was told booking.com did not let them know. They also said that there was nothing they could do which I found very unprofessional as four star hotel it seems that they couldn’t be bothered. So overall didn’t make a good start to our holiday. Would I stay there again I’m not sure. I would like the hotel reply to me and explain.

Gym did not have bike and was not nice. Room was big and had a great view but was tired. Very small shower.

Excellent hotel, highly recommend.

The best location! Wonderfully comfortable beds and excellent shower. Quite steep sides to the bath, so as the shower is over the bath this might be difficult for some people - worth making a request when booking. Staff at reception very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Our 2nd visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Perfect location , gorgeous hotel.

The location was brilliant, ten minute walk from the station. Right in the centre. Fantastic view. Spacious room, quiet and dark at night so slept brilliantly. Friendly staff. Robes and slippers. Water replaced for free in the room daily .

Beautiful hotel, central location and welcoming staff

Nicely decorated room, very comfy beds. Location was excellent, right in the centre. Breakfast was very good - a great selection and freshly made. Staff very friendly and helpful, gave me some good restaurant recommendations.

Wifi was a little patchy. There were some cracks in the sink and shower. But overall did not detract from the stay.

A very pleasant short break in a charming city.

The location was excellent-right in the centre of town, close to shops and restaurants whilst being quiet at the same time. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and flexible timing.

The jungle shower was not easy to operate. Instructions were not helpful but the chamber maid was very helpful and altered the setting for us.

We had a delightful stay although the weather was far too warm. Welcomed the air conditioned bar area.

The location was superb. Not far to walk to restaurants and shops. Wonderful air conditioning as it was extremely hot. The hotel itself was very plush in the reception area and bar. Some hotel staff were very attentive. Others were not.

Crack in bathroom sink. The bathroom looked tired and needed updating. No magnifying mirror in bathroom.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Lille

Lovely greeting from receptionist on arrival. We were able to check in 30 minutes early which was good. Nice decor throughout. Room 409 was spacious, clean and comfortable. Bath was a bonus. Overlooking the square and the opera house. 10 minute walk from both Lille Flandres and Europe train stations. Very convenient. Close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Perfect central location, above the Hippo restaurant (which is useful as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant although the bar area doubles as the breakfast room), car parking can be made available about 100m away @30euro/ night

The recent history of scandals. Once we read about them we felt bad staying there. The staff could have been a bit warmer. The 4pm check-in is ridiculously late.

Lovely traditional style hotel right in the centre of Lille

The room was great with really good facilities. The cocktail bar was perfect, well worth a visit and was also where you have breakfast. The location is right in the centre of Lille so perfect for sightseeing and shopping. To park we used a secure car park in the main square which was relatively easy to find and only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
