Excellent on all levels. would highly recommend

Didn't have breakfast but good to have the option. The room had everything you needed, plenty of storage space, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towel. etc. No toaster (only the English want that!) Lovely big very comfortable bed, (2 friends, no fighting or kicking each other during the night) spare duvets, which we rolled up to make head rests. Reception had games you could borrow, (in French) there is a laundry and a gym. They give you a keycard to access the hotel, lifts and your room. Bus stops outside and runs every 20 mins to old town if you don't want to walk. Christmas market just along the road, along with the tourist office, from where you can do a 30 minute orientation tour in a little 2CV vintage car. Grand Place nearby. Walkable to Musee des Beaux Arts and Theatre Sebastopol. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. Taxi from Lille Europe station was 20 -25 euro, which you can get from the back entrance upstairs or downstairs and across the square. (No buses on Sunday but they called a taxi for us to go back).Check in is 3pm but you can leave your luggage earlier, which was great. Check out was a respectable 11am. They don't service the room unless you ask (extra charge). We stayed 3 nights which was just right.

When we tried, the TV had weak/no signal, but I took a tablet and got the wi-fi code so we could watch Netflix. I'd just like a bigger bath towel!

Great location and super comfortable stay

We had such a great stay at Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre Grand Place. Our room was really quiet and comfortable, which was amazing. The location of the property is incredibly convenient - it's just around the corner from Grand Place! Everyone at the hotel was super welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Nice hotel in good location, but take mosquito spray

Great location, easy walk to all the main sights. Nice ambience in the reception and breakfast areas. Room was a good size, and we didn't experience any noise at night.

The AC was locked out, and we like it cool for sleeping, so we opened the window. We woke later being bitten by lots of mosquitoes. We killed a lot, but they kept coming. Next day we spoke to reception and they gave us plug-in repellant, and we bought bug spray. No problems the next night. I think the hotel should install the plug-in repellant in the rooms to avoid the problems we had the first night.

Lovely Hotel in a Great Area, But Needs Better Comfort

The hotel is in an excellent location and the apart-hotel itself is nice and convenient.

There were a lot of mosquitoes during our stay, which made it uncomfortable. It would be great if the management provided anti-mosquito devices or repellent in each room. Also, the bed was not comfortable at all, which affected sleep quality. Overall, a good place with a fantastic location, but some improvements are needed.

A very comfortable start to our French break.

This time just a one-night stop-over on the way to Rennes. Everything was up to the usual very high standards and we stayed again on our return from Rennes for a week-end.

Good value well located well looked after hotel in central Lille.

The hotel room was large and quiet and included a well equipped small kitchen. Very handy. The outside of the hotel was very unattractive and unassuming but once you entered it was very nice. Nicely kept up and quiet. There was an inner courtyard that was big and nice. The staff was very helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast room was bright and very clean and the breakfast was good. The laundry room was handy. The water temp was good in the bathroom. The area was very convenient to the sights and old Lille and 15 minute walk to the train station. Quiet area .

My hotel room did not have a regular bed . I think it was some type of convertible bed. Strange. Low and not big or really good comfort. The bathroom had a rain shower and a paddle shower head . The paddles shower head was not great . One weak setting. No grab bars in shower . Felt dangerous getting in and out. No cleaning during my 3 night visit. But could get fresh towels at front desk. The gym was very poorly equipped.

Great location and recently renovated. Good quality blackout curtains to allow our baby to sleep in daytime.

Great place, poor hygiene

Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was fairly good, scrambled eggs, hash browns and for some reason beans. Great bread for breakfast and a coffee machine. Was a decent price for the location.

The room itself was not very clean, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The bed is a sofa/closet collapsable bed, with a poor quality matras and poor pillows. The bathroom was good in terms of design, and extremely poor in hygiëne. There were poop/fecal splatter next to the toilet against the wall next to and above the toilet paper against the wall. I shared this with the receptionist when we decided to leave a day earlier, and he seemed pretty shocked, hopefully a good sign at least. I even took pictures because its impossible to explain unless you see it.

Perfect location for centre Lille, good value for money

Nice spacious rooms with good desk space and lovely little kitchen, nice sized bathroom too, liked the lobby area, in the centre of Lille but nice and calm, perfect for a work trip

Very nice hotel at the city center. Worth a stay.

The property enjoys a central location, just a five-minute walk from all major amenities and the metro station. The rooms were exceptionally spacious and well-appointed with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. When first entered the room, the cleaning was spotless and with a lot of attention to detail. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding! All of the staff were consistently courteous, helpful, and professional throughout my stay.

However, I was disappointed to learn that the room was not cleaned daily. In fact, it was not serviced at all during the duration of my stay. I was unaware of this policy prior to arrival and was only informed about it at check-in. While this may be a minor inconvenience for a short stay of 2–3 days, it could become an issue for guests staying for a longer period.

Great hotel for Lille.

Wonderful location in big Lille. Staff were efficient and helpful. It is an uber chic hotel. Studio room was spacious, outstanding kitchen, lots of storage. Batterie de Cuisine in kitchen was impressive. Good shower stall bathroom. We walked our legs off and caught a train to Dunkurque and buses to Ste Rita’s Sanctuary and Church. Visited Charles de Gaulle’s birthplace and Church where he was Baptised. Recommend the Office de Tourisme for help and buying tickets for the Tourist Bus. It was informative and lady Driver was excellent too. Lille is a lovely big city and Hotel Adagio was perfect. As Self catering we bought groceries and didn’t buy the €18 PP breakfast. Clean and had everything

In spite of trying to lock in yes/no on a bed and separate sofa in Studio it turned out to be a Murphy Bed which was also a lounge, which we never had use if as we kept as bed. It was comfortable but husband has a bad back and likes a TV chair. It was OK but I’d have booked an apartment with bed and lounge had I known this. To get a proper bed book an apartment not a studio.

A Charming Stay in a pet friendly hotel

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also loved the convenient location close to major attractions which is walking distance. There is a nearby carpark with reasonable pricing or free to park on the street after 7pm or Sundays / bank holidays. They are pet friendly and this is amazing

We couldn’t get any ice in the hotel which was a bit unexpected. Not a deal breaker but we had a fridge in the room so this didn’t make much sense .. it’s not easy to find any ice in the stores either so make sure that you get your drinks cold or give enough time to chill

Good option in central Lille to explore and enjoy

Location was great. You are a couple minutes walk away from the city's main plaza, full of charm, nice cafes and restaurants and shops. You are also close to a few other interesting neighborhoods in the city center. The lobby was nice, and staff were kind. There was a paid laundry service that was super convenient. Wifi was not super stable, but worked well enough for streaming and occasional video calls. The kitchen in the room was well equipped, well lit and spacious. I enjoyed the overall layout of the room (except for a detail I speak about below). The bathroom was also of high quality. The views of my room were to the internal courtyard, very tranquil and with a small view towards a large and tall church facade that is on the outside street. Compared to another Adagio branch I stayed at in Lyon, this one seemed better managed and overall of higher quality, although a bit more expensive for what I got overall.

You need to take into consideration the fact that the studio room has a convertible bed. This means you get a sofa underneath. While good for flexibility, it also means the bed is not exactly amazing. I was able to get good sleep, but just barely. Given the flat was actually kinda spacious, I think the layout was poorly thought out and an actual sofa and separate bed could fit. If you want to work from these suites, take a close look at photos and think carefully. In my case, even though there was a desk and a chair, both were unexplicably high, meaning the chair was super uncomfortable for longer sessions (over an hour), because you would end up hunched over the desk due to the poor ergonomy of the combo. I ended up taking the spare set of pillows and mattress and put it on the ground to be able to rest my bare feet on top of them while sitting, otherwise it was impossible to stay there for long.

A nice family hotel in the heart of Lille. We came to see the local Christmas market and the location of the hotel was just perfect. Everything was within a walking distance including the train and bus station. The two bedrooms in our room were quite well isolated. We checked all our beds before going to sleep. Everything was clean and bugs free :)

Easy to get to town centre and the station. I ended up staying a 2nd night when there was a tunnel strike. I was delighted to be able to recommend the hotel to about 15 other families many of whom I heard ended up staying there!!!

Comfortable modern stay on perfect location.

Very modern clean room. Spacious for a hotel room and small kitchen sink is a plus. Large modern bathroom.

-Two separate mattresses instead of one big for double bed. - gym is extremely basic. I understand this is a hotel and not a sport facility but the gym was so minimal that you can hardly call it a gym at all. Just a rowing machine, bike machine and one similar thing was all.

We had an apartment on the top floor in the corner and it was lovely and quiet. The apartment was spotless on arrival. It was nice to be welcomed on arrival at reception. There is a room for rubbish on each floor so you can get rid of anything during the stay very easily. There is a laundry downstairs, although we did not use that. You could have breakfast there if you wanted. I liked having a separate toilet from the shower room. There was a hob and microwave for cooking, and a dishwasher. There was a boulangerie opposite and a supermarket about 5 minutes away. Wonderful location, very central so you could walk to most places. The metro was very close, and the tourist office just round the corner!

The only thing I would have liked was an oven as well as the hob and microwave, but I think that it is quite common not to have an oven in holiday apartments.

Really central hotel with great facilities and staff who care whether you have a good time.

The location was perfect and we walked everywhere we needed to go. The staff at the main desk were really helpful, especially Adrian. He really made a difference to our short stay with all the information he gave us. The breakfast was very good and the room comfortable.

I would have liked a kettle in the room, we got hot water from the machine downstairs and brought it up in the lift, which doesn't seem terribly safe. Decaff coffee would have been nice too.
