Quiet location and convenient for getting to centre. Welcome pack full of info and maps - much appreciated. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. Host very responsive when we had an issue and very helpful with any queries.

The location was good and the apartment had everything we needed. The garden was pretty with a lovely balcony.

Nice location in Lille, the studio is in the inner courtyard of a town house so it's very quiet and private. The studio was quite big and has everything we needed.

Great property, lovely hosts

Great use of space, quirky and individual style which had obviously been thought about. Garden space was lovely. Hosts were on hand if required but not intrusive at all. This property is unique and we hadn’t expected to find a space like this so close to the centre.

Loads of windows, lots of sunshine = very hot interior with nothing we could do other than switch fans on which we’re fighting a losing battle. Also lack of blinds on main windows meant we were overlooked by guests in other unit. That is a small point of course. We wished the upstairs terrace had been ready for us to use - dead plants in all the pots and the space had not been cleaned. Warm weather may not have been expected though!

Short stay in Lille

This is an absolute gem of an apartment with a beautiful garden in the lovely residential area of Jeanne d'Arc. It's a very peaceful location despite being close to the centre of Lille. It's walkable from Lille-Flandres but there are good transport connections. There is a supermarket and places to eat nearby.

An excellent secure and quiet spot to stay in, with easy access to amenities and restaurants.

Close proximity to Metro, a convenient Patisserie and some pretty nice restaurants. Easy access, by foot, to the Town Centre and the Old City.

Two issues with appartment - 1. couldn't use the plug in the bathroon sink and 2) Kitchen tap was very loose Lost power at one point and tried to make contact with owner, to no avail. Fortunately, it was restored about an hour later.

Friendly and helpful owner and lovely apartment

We had an excellent stay at Au Cœur du Jardin. The communication with the helpful and friendly owner was very easy, despite our original train being cancelled and arriving well after 10pm, getting access to the apartment was straightforward. We were able to leave our bags on the day of departure. It's located just a little outside the centre, but there are a couple of good restaurants/bars nearby (La Canopée is a friendly and busy place that serves food late). The apartment sits in a garden to the rear of the main house, it's a very quiet spot and with a comfy bed we slept very well. The room is also a good size with a large bathroom but small kitchenette, OK for breakfast tea and coffee - it's worth walking the extra 200 metres to Leprêtre for breakfast pastries. Will definitely stay here again when in Lille.

Honestly, nothing really, but it would have been nice to have a second comfy chair or small sofa rather than having to lay on the bed.

Greats secret garden in the middle of town

Rooms where very comfortable. Bathrooms are really nice! Internet was available and stable to have video meetings. Staff was very nice and friendly, and gave lots of tips regarding the surrounding areas to visits.

The table in the room was shaky and not too comfortable to work on. Considering this is the biggest issue, i strongly recommend this place. Parking could be an issue. Only 1 spot available.

Perfect location located in the centre of the city, also for parking the motorcycle (inside the court of the palace with a major of the fee). Completely quiet Place to stay. Wi fi works well There is a kitchen

We found the room not very clean especially during this pandemic period: different kind of hairs were inside the bedsheet (there were also an undefined stain). We thought the room Was only partially cleaned, also because of the kitchen where the dishes were not clean. Last but not least, the wood listels of the floor were very old and in a bed way.

Nous avons séjourné dans le "loft". C'est en fait une maison dans le jardin des propriétaires, au calme et plein de charme. La pièce à vivre est très grande et joliment décorée, un endroit parfait pour passer de longs moments ensemble. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, et la literie de qualité. Le lieu est bien situé pour visiter Lille, à 15 mns à pieds de la place du Général de Gaulle (le centre). L'accueil était très sympa, la propriétaire très souple et disponible pour toute question.
