Nice glassed roof main square with nice walkway on first 2 floors

Wine at £60 a bottle and no Christmas decorations. Because of the high drink prices it lacks atmosphere. Slightly worn as developed 30 years ago with some dated pieces

dissapointing

the price was very high compared to what the rooms were. the room was very small, cupboard door broken so we couldnt even hang our clothes and wasnt super clean to be very honest. for a 4 star hotel and over 200 euros for a room it was very dissapointing

The location is excellent a short walk from the centre ville. The staff were very helpful and attentive.

The bedrooms are outdated and dark and really need remodelling for the price they charge.

Twin beds requested, but double provided. Not a couple, two friends, so not ideal. No milk for tea, only one coathanger in the enormous wardrobe.

Rude uncaring staff

Nothing at all

Our room was dirty, furniture broken & in the recent heatwave our air con did not work. We asked to leave within 5 minutes of arriving and were told we could not! They told us “it was not their problem” Utter shambles, dreadful dated, dreary place

Beautiful & historic building in great location for sightseeing & discovering the WW1 region.

Beautiful building, good spaces, generous bedrooms & great location. Great to have a car park whilst sightseeing in the region.

Carpet throughout is very stained giving a dirty feel and bedrooms/bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. Service desk was perfunctory and a smile would go a long way but some staff were helpful. Well set up for conferences and there were large groups but it seemed a little impersonal for individual travellers. Great to have breakfast included though it was prescribed & although fresh there was very little room for variation over 4 days.

Not worth the money

The location is very central which was great. Although people hung out just outside the hotel so there was some shouting early in the morning.

The receptionist who booked us in was very rude and was not even bothered to explain anything about the hotel or the payment. They took 200€ deposit and payment followed upon checkout. The room was really outdated. The shower was leaking, so after showering, our bathroom was swimming. Old furniture, carpet, windows, and curtains. It made it hard to sleep as there is no air con and only an electric fan in the room.

Beautiful Atrium.But bad value rooms.Have an overpriced drink in bar ,don't stay.

The atrium was beautiful. The reception staff were nice and most of staff bar i thinkit was head barman

rooms small bathroom needed updating shower over bath hard to manage. Net curtain falling off . Blind not blackout Ill mannered head bar man who asked us to leave when not finished drinks. Breakfast finished at 10.30 sunday we arrived at 9.45 no cooked breakfast left and coffee machines empty.

Great week in Lille

Hotel public spaces are really lovely and interesting. Hotel in good area, close to centre ville and local green spaces. Bed was very comfortable.

Bedrooms were clean but a bit 'tired' Shower over bath was not handsfree and quite tricky to manoeuvre.

A nice hotel

The room is clean but the lighting is poor. We had a fridge in the room and two bottles of water. There is a car park. The hotel is located in a quiet street, facing a canal. We only stayed for one night and we had to leave early therefore we did not have breakfast.

This is about the building. There is no soundproofing, you can hear other guests having a shower at 6 am!! The bar- We only had a drink at the bar they served us a beer . the kitchen was already closed. It was about 10 pm.

bar and all staff that I encountered. position of hotel being able to walk to city and not too far from train station. and the water outside where people sat in the afternoon.

ok for one night.

Nice building, free electric charging for the car. Interior of the room was also nice, it's a big room. Nice for a night, but maybe better places to stay in Lille.

Well first of all the toilet kept running, the bathroom was also in a bit of decline as when you took a shower the water would not go away until you stopped showering. The breakfast, well it was for free but a complete joke, only orange juice from the bottle, some cold cuts and baguette. Welcome to France. The main restaurant seemed rather expensive, so I didn't try it, went to an Indian place instead. But worth a try maybe. But it was a risk when it would have resembled their "last supper" breakfast. Parking of the hotel is way to expensive, 21 euros, and I was lucky that I could charge for free.
