Lovely, traditional style pld hotel in convenient position for railway stations & centre ville.

Nice size room & bathroom. Storage to hang clothing. TV with some UK channels. Excellent breakfast.

On upper floor, so not a major privacy issue, but some proper blinds/curtains would have been nice to keep out light at night. Lovely staff who made special effort for UK guests.

One room was fine, second room had very very tight shower room so not a comfortable experience.

Great stay to visit Lille

Great place situated 5 min by foot from Liile-Flanders railway station. Seems like an old hotel which has been taken a good care of. Room was small but clean with everything needed. Receptionist is always there to help you and super friendly.

Nice Hotel Central Location

Central Loation, only stayed 1 night, clean room and comfy beds, very warm in room, 2 degrees outside.

Net curtains in bedroom and bathroom, maybe a continental thing. Kept light off when using bathroom. Could shut bedroom door as no door to bathroom.

It was extremely easy to locate from the railway station. I had a lovely nighttime view of the neighbouring cathedral aspire - see attached photo.

It’s ok for one night

Location is super close to the station and the city center. Nice view from the room.

Breakfast was not great, no eggs, no cut slices of cheese, pancakes are cold, dirty spoons.

Trip to Lille

The hotel was very central to shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and train stations. Our room was a little noisy but the lovely lady at reception was happy for us to change to a room at the back of the hotel and even let us look at it before deciding to move.

Nothing negative but a coffee machine would have been nice in the room and maybe a bigger wardrobe

Great location just round corner from old town and less than 10 min walk from Lille Europe

Nice old building .... bright breakfast room Lovely surprise to have a kettle and drink provision as wasn't expecting that but not sure if that's standard in every room

Our superior room has a bath with handheld shower only which we knew when we booked as wanted the larger room but a proper shower would be better and good if those rooms were upgraded

The hotel was a short walk from the Eurostar terminal and central for town. The staff were friendly, the rooms and hotel were clean, and the breakfast a good standard. Perfect location from which to explore Lille.

The room and bed was a little small, but for two nights it was fine.

Great little cozy hotel in the cemter

Really nice location right next to the Cathedral in the middle of the city.. Breakfast was great, you could boil your own eggs at your own discretion.

The rooms are not so sound proof, you can hear everything in the hallway. You had to hold the shower head in your hand and everything got wet.

The location was perfect for my needs, a short walk from both railway stations and a short walk from the main square and the restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly. The price was very good value for somewhere so centrally located.

Great B&B in a very central location.

Great location very close to the cathedral and other main sights. Lovely room on a quiet side of the hotel. Very good breakfast.

Charming hotel with equally charming staff

Great location so we opted to extend our stay. The hotel is a short walk from the city's two key railway stations and right in the heart of the city making it easy to get around a city that has much to commend it. All staff with whom we had contact over the course of our stay were helpful - and charming.

Nice bed shame about the noise.

Bed was very comfortable. Excellent location for seeing the city.

Main issue was the outside noise, there was constant noise throughout the night from people in the square opposite & cars/bikes. No air-con so very hot with window shut. Too noisy to have window open. Also had a number of mosquito bites.

Very shabby furniture and carpets. If they tiled it right through and repainted furniture this would be good long term and would lift the appearance and experience. I couldn’t get Netflix.

Nice hotel in Lille

The hotel is right at the centre of Lille and a short walk from Lille Europe and Lille Flanders train stations. The breakfast was very nice as well.

The was no AC in our room. At times it was a bit hot during the summer. Opening a window is not an option because of a noise coming from a nearby square where people are partying during the night.

Not enjoyable - dirty and old.

The location was good

It was not clean. The room was shabby and needed total redecoration. The photos on booking.com did not represent the hotel. We travelled France for 2 weeks. This was to most expensive hotel but the worst of our stay. Very disappointed.

It has a bad mosquito infestation. They are everywhere. We were badly bitten and were kept awake by the buzzing. Our room was really very small for two people.

Receptionist - super helpful and knowledgeable. Check in process very easy, traditional room keys (a key to the old school approach within the hotel)

Car parking was provided in the local multi storey car park only 200 m away. Unfortunately the entrance to the car park was closed along with a number of streets . This meant that car parking turned out to be more complicated / stressful than necessary. If you need car parking - well worth asking in advance which entrance to use and are the roads closed
