Good location.

Central location and good value for money. Breakfast had all we needed. Really nice staff.

Very small rooms is the only downside but you are not spending too much time in the room.

The room was fine and the twin beds very comfortable. Decent shower. Good breakfast which was available until 11.00 - much appreciated after a late night! Staff were friendly and courteous.

No kettle in the room. Had to go down to the breakfast buffet to get a morning cuppa. The room was very cold with no way of changing the temperature (the radiator didn’t appear to work and there was a thermostat/air con which also seemed non-operational).

The receptionist was super friendly and very helpful! Breakfast was very good and very neatly prepared! We loved the atmosphere. The location is also great too!

Room was a good size and comfortable. Parking (at added cost) was in a secure car park just across the road, so really handy. Hotel is in a great location very close to Grand Place and main station. Breakfast was good.

Issue with cleanliness, but great location and breakfast

The location of this hotel is very good, close to the main square and the old town but easily reachable from the train station. A really good, value-for-money stay in Lille. The included breakfast was nice, the staff made fresh waffles and orange juice to supplement the buffet that was already quite ample.

Mainly, I was a bit unhappy with the cleanliness of the room. There were some hairs in the bathroom that weren't cleaned and quite a few of the light switches and other appliances have seemingly not been dusted off for weeks before my stay there. It was not at a level that I thought it was gross, but it did not leave a great impression. Other than that, if you are looking for a noise proof place this is not it. Again, not super bad, but you could hear the neighbors showering and talking through the walls.

Comfort, proximity and the staff. Definitely. Your staff is very close, warmful and reactive.

The breakfast doesn't propose enough salty. I didn't find what I was looking for. I know that there is not a lot of space and this could be a challenge. A wealthy breakfast is always appreciated.

We had a good stay in a more than okay hotel with friendly staff

Excellent breakfast! Tasty and crunchy, fresh bread. Everything you expect from a good breakfast. Local cheese, ham, yoghurt, jam, eggs to boil yourself, coffee from a machine, tea, pancakes. No scrambled egg or bacon when we were there. Free coffee and tea throughout the day.

Street noise (there is a bar on the corner) and u-shaped mattresses.

bad - downgraded

i booked the hotel I think last week end. then on the day of the booking at 13:00, the hotel called me to confirm which I did and even ask for a quiet room. Then I arrived at the hotel. well, surprise surprise, the first time it happened to me. they say the reservation was cancelled. well, it was not on booking but they insisted and I insisted too. second surprise, they told me I had booked a single room. i rechecked my booking in case I just dreamed I booked a double room which a double sized bed. well, I did not dreamed it, I did book a double room. next what happened you will ask me. they propose me a single bed for …. the same price …! which I had no choice but to accept at around 9pm. it’s the first time in my life I got downgraded! To say the least, this is not acceptable. what do you propose ?

Lovely hotel very close to the Grand Place

What a fabulous hotel. Located just a stonethrow from the Grand Place. Staff is very helpfull and very friendly. Parking is opposite the hotel but if needed please reserve in advance. We were lucky to have a spot for the 2nd day of our stay. Nice breakfast room with a very nice selection of yoghurts, fruits, cereals, lovely french bread, cheeses coffee, tea, fruits and of course croissants and pain au chocolat. We just simply loved our stay an definitely will be back.

Staff was fantastic specially the two young men who work there as well the ladies in the kitchen and who ever do our room was great.

Wow. The room too small for two persons. No place to put our lugaged and stuff. Wow.
