Lovely, albeit chilly, few days in Lille and Roubaix.

Breakfast good, location perfect, housekeeping very good, comfy beds (2×twin for double)

Lift very small and often had to wait a while for it.

Adequate, but good location

Location is excellent, room was very small but as we were out most of the day and only using it for sleeping and not chilling/relaxing, it served its purpose. Some staff were friendly, but inconsistent

Hotel locks the main door at 10.30pm and you have to wait for receptionist to let you in. One of our evenings we were left standing outside, along with other guests, in the rain for 45 minutes as the receptionist was nowhere to be found!

Location was great, close to 2 train stations, lots of shops, restaurants, etc. Room was small but comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

Great little hotel but has noise issues.

This is a really well located hotel. Good value, clean & has everything you need for a city break. Staff all friendly and welcoming. I have stayed here several times over the last two decades and always been happy.

Unfortunately, since my last visit, a bar/club seems to have opened nearby, with loud dance music playing until the early hours on the Friday & Saturday nights we were there. We could hear this in our room with the windows shut. Such a shame. I’d recommended this hotel to a friend but have had to change my advice because of the noise.

Good place to stay

The hotel is in a convenient place for both Lille Flandre and Lille Europe. The breakfast is good. It was dark when I had breakfast, otherwise I would have eaten it on the terrace overlooking the city.

The location was great for the rail stations and the centre of Lille. Staff were very helpful. Very little noise given central location.

Excellent staff, great hotel

The staff were excellent, very friendly, spoke good English which was very helpful as my french was poor. Was very welcoming and explained where everything was. The room was very warm due to the time of year but we had a fan supplied in the room and they very kindly allowed us to have a second in the room which was a huge help. We was sad to leave due to feeling so happy there. Complimentary tea/coffee sachets supplied in the room and topped up daily along with a room freshen up and clean beds. Water station in reception to keep hydrated. We was leaving late but the staff kindly allowed us to leave our luggage behind reception at no cost which was secure. 100% would stay again and plan to in the near future.

Very enjoyable, looked after completely and such a brilliant position. Excellent value for money.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice served by cheerful and attentive staff. The location of the dining area was great looking over the robes of the city and the hustle of the station square. As we were travelling on the morning TGV from Lille Flanders’s station the position was perfect.

Great city to explore for a day or two . Great hotel for convenience to see the sights .

Perfect walking distance from Eurostar train station. Loved having our continental breakfast on the terrace and watching the world go by in the morning . Staff were exceptional and always happy to help .

Our room was very small and basic therefore only good for a night or two , in my opinion . We enjoyed having the view of the square from our room though and it was clean . TV not working in room and didn’t managed to get fixed during our stay of 2 days so we looked out the window :)

Extremely friendly staff and very central for everything. A short walk from the Eurostar station. I would definitely stay there again if in Lille

Cheerful welcoming staff.Good location and good breakfast.Very helpful with regard to my dietary requirements-I am coeliac and on a gluten-free diet. Made sure I had plenty of GF bread!

Excellent.

The hotel was perfect for train travellers due to close proximity to Lille Flanders station. Staff were very considerate, even allowing us to leave luggage while we took a side trip for a couple of days elsewhere. The breakfast room is on the top floor providing a lovely outlook over parts of the town.
