tiny but good place to stay

Everything was clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was fabulous.

Good stay, handy location and parking.

Clean, good parking, BTwin Village was worth visiting and easy to use public transport to get into Lille.

Building materials meant it was noisy when people moved around upstairs or outside.

Convenient eco friendly stay with helpful staff.

Good for one night stop before ferry, staff incredibly helpful in helping to sort accommodation for us after not receiving our booking through booking.com. Shared kitchen was good to use for takeaway food.

Such a pity that pizza is not available at the weekends. Hotel is not well placed for other food options late in the evening without driving or using a delivery service.

Loved it- excellent value for money

Outstanding value for money. After a long day in the car, the chance to have a beer in the bar and to play the many different games- indoor and outdoor- was really lovely. Great location, very easily accessible from the motorway but within a very convenient distance of the centre. Also next to the B'Twin Village, which was a nice surprise. The free parking was very much appreciated, as were the very friendly staff. Nice breakfast, too.

The only small criticism was being unable to control the temperature of the room. It was a hot summer night and we could open the window with the shutter down, but a little bit of cooling would have been nice.

Rude staff

Staff was rude, made us pay an extra 8 euros for arriving 15 minutes early to check in and when we arrived in the room there was no water. We complained about it and they reacted rudely and said it would be solved in coming hours, but we were not notified before and even paid extra for the early check in.

Good hotel, great value for money

Location was good, 10 min Uber ride to the city or 30 min walk. Breakfast was decent. We tried the pizza and salad which was tasty and the drinks were reasonably priced. Rooms were small but clean, bed was comfy and it was quiet so we had a good sleep. Shutters on windows completely blocked out the light which was good.

Inconsistency in the hotel rules. One night we sat in the reception area talking until 3am, the next night we were told reception was closed at midnight. We were also told to laugh quietly after laughing once at breakfast. That was very peculiar.

Took too long to prepare room, needed to wait over 30 minutes despite arriving after scheduled arrival time; could be cleaner, very far off center and commercial area, one way from center is through a slum basically, didn't feel really safe to walk at night; light in shower not working and other bathroom sensor for light switching on and off when it wants; piles of cleaning stuff and used sheets in front of the rooms

Modern Hotel with very tiny rooms that are very warm

Its a modern and fairly new building with a modern community area.

It was very warm in the rooms. There was no way of ventilation other than leaving the door open which is not an option during the night. Unfortunately the hotel was completely understaffed for breakfast buffet.

Great atmosphere and ambiance.

The staff and the hotel are very warm and welcoming. They are very organized. It was nice they offered bar service and cafe. Morning breakfast was included. There was not a large selection but all food groups were offered. Cafe food also delicious.

There was only a window facing the corridor with no window grilles. At night as we went to bed we didn't feel safe and we had to close the window. We did ask for a fan, but the property refused to provide one, and the room felt like an airtight container and we ended up with 2 sleepless nights.

Friendly basic accommodation just outside the city centre.

Staff were really excellent. Helpful and friendly. Location was good, onsite parking and just off the ring road. A 30 min walk to Lille centre -- or a 10 min walk to the metro station. We preferred not to drive in the centre. The breakfast was excellent and the shared spaces like the restaurant and sitting area were very good.

Our room needed some TLC -- but it was large and comfortable.

The staff are friendly though we had a language barrier when we tried to communicate in English. We had managed to book the breakfast and the bakery was tasty.

Bad

We arrived in the hotel, we were welcomed by the worst receptionist ever. We paid for the hotel but he told us without checking, that we haven't paid for the hotel and we cannot check-in. Since we weren't able to find in the first place the movement receipt, we had to pay another time. It was a lot of money since we were 17 people, and I have to pay with my own money the full price another time. After 10 minutes we managed to find the receipt and after showing it to him, he had the great idea to call his supervisor. In the morning the chief take care of our booking and he saw the payment. No communication at all between them, no care for the situation, no excuses received. They don't even give me the money back immediately, they say that I have to wait few days.
