Perfect for what we needed.

Good location and staff were friendly. Bedrooms good size and beds were very comfortable.

The bathrooms and downstairs tables/kitchen were not that clean. The showers lacked power, hot but very little water came out. Some rooms didn’t have working lights.

Good location, nice ambiance, friendly staff

I know this is also caused by guests, but the kitchen was disgustingly dirty, nobody cleaned up after cooking and it was hard to prepare meals due to its small size compared to the amount of guests The room was extremely basic but poorly designed. No curtains. No sockets near the bed, too narrow lockers (and not well maintained), no soap in the room sink, only in the shared bathroom. The showers were missing a shower head and rather spraying the water from a hole at a fixed height.

We stayed here as a family of four. I have never stayed at a hostel before but missus thinks that it’s ok for a hostel. Don’t expect much but if you have to stay somewhere with a tight budget it can be considered.

Convenient for family of 4 (or 6) in Lille.

Great location and cheap! We could park outside the hotel for a parking fee after 9am. Free during the evening. It was perfect for a one night stay enroute to Germany from the UK. We stayed in a private 4 bedded room with our kids.

My fault but I wrongly assumed that there would be a toilet in the shower room but there isn’t and toilets are shared. Not a huge issue in the end as I managed ok 😊

Fun uncomplicated stay.

We booked as a family of 6 for one night - to visit Lille and watch the Olympic basketball games. The property was easy to book, easy to find/access. The facilities were as it says on the box😊 The place is friendly and chilled. Metro and local super market within walking distance. Good Wi-Fi Loved Dorah - the lady made the stay and experience extra special. She stood out and was most helpful. Thank you.

It was a hot day and night- rooms were a bit stuffy even with the windows wide open. The breakfast was disappointing- options were limited and presentation could have been better.

Pay for towels, very basic, hot, stuffy rooms, no AC, breakfast was the worst I've seen - no vegan options, nothing fresh. Would have been easy to have croissants, eggs, fresh bread, coconut yoghurt, bananas.... etc

The staff was nice, very patient and cool.

The cleanliness of the hostal is very poor. My bathroom was very dirty and so was the whole room. Talking to other guests, they had the same issue... I think that is a great property but they need to keep it clean more often...

Outdoor terrace access

Key card for room stopped working every day. Staff only speak French and weren't that friendly. Toilets pretty rank and no way of drying hands in men's toilets. Bin left to overflow. Location miles out from centre/old town. Rugby world cup game on and no TV anywhere on the premises to show it.

The staff were really nice. Check-in was easy and the downstairs space is a really nice space to relax in. The property was quiet during the night and the areas were clean. There is space to park around the hostel.

I thought I had booked a private bathroom and not just a shower/sink - I expected a bathroom in the room. Additionally it was very hot during the night due to the weather in the summer. Further, breakfast was pretty basic.

Terrible place. I thought i was booking a Hotel not a run down Hostel full of students. The room stunk of urine, i think people have urinated in the shower as there is no toilet in the room. The place was so bad we walked out there and then. Had to pay up front for the booking and there was no refund.
