Friendly staff, beautiful pictures of art, general hotel decor and location. Also free newspapers particularly the local one so could learn more about Lille. Breakfast was good too. Planning on going back next year.

Small bit of noise in the morning on one day, from utility room but overall very quiet. Never been to any hotel which is completely sound proof. Not a real concern.

Our second stay at this hotel at the end of a holiday in south of France. It's in a good location to access both Lille Europe train station for Eurostar and Lille Flandres for travel within France. It is also easy walking into the centre of Lille which is worth exploring and where there are numerous restaurants to chose from. The room on our second stay was very nice with plenty of space and seemed to have been more recently refurbished. Staff were very helpful. Note that breakfast is served at 7.00am so there is just enough time to have this and walk to Lille Europe station to catch the 08.35 Eurostar service to London but if you like a leisurely start or can only walk slowly you might want to consider skipping breakfast if booked on this service. (There is an option for breakfast at the station after you have gone through security).

If we come back to Lille, we would stay here again.

We liked the location, it was perfect for us elderly ladies to stroll up into the Grand Place. We were pleased our request was met by having rooms next to each other. The breakfast was very good, although on a couple of mornings the bread was 'extra' hard!

We have stayed here before so knew exactly what to expect and it fulfilled our expectations. We did have a problem with the toilet in one of the rooms for a couple of days, but it was dealt with.

An ideal location to stay in Lille.

Great location and friendly staff. The decor of the floors was so cosy and retro as well. Rooms are spacious but note no air conditioning if you run hot at night.

Just worth noting the hangers don’t have proper handles at the top so if you have a longer garment which doesn’t fit in the short cupboard then you may have trouble hanging it up outside of the cupboard.

Great location. Quiet and comfortable.

Very good location and a pleasant stay. Our room faced onto the street, but was quiet and slept very well. As previous guests have noted, the shower was not 'walk in', but hand held, over the bath. Not a problem for one night and rooms are available with a different style of shower - we were advised to specify this when booking. Did not have breakfast and there are many cafés close by offering a 'formule'. The interior and décor of the hotel is lovely - lots of paintings and a curved staircase. Friendly staff and will definitely return when next in Lille. Recommended.
