A very basic hotel but is comfortable, clean and fairly well situated

I won’t never come back this hotel. It’s terrible.

I've never encountered anything so infuriating! The hotel receptionist insisted they couldn't find my name, even after I presented my booking confirmation, confirmation email, and all the documents. She kept claiming I was on some separate Booking.com list, so it was Booking's problem, not theirs , and she refused to give me a room. Her attitude was absolutely terrible. She made me wait at the counter for over an hour while he busied himself with other guests' issues, completely ignoring mine. I was here for a meeting, and because I couldn't get my room, I ended up being nearly two hours late for it. The front desk staff even told me I couldn't leave.

Small room for PMR, no bedside table, no Tea/coffee facilities in the room, no hair drier, no hooks in the bathroom.

Great for the price

The rooms are small and very simple in terms of furniture, the building is not the most aestetically pleasant, but overal this hotel has everything it needs for the little price you pay. The location is excellent and in our case the parking underneath was perfect.

Mattresses are wrapped in plastic, which makes your sleep uncomfortable. If the weather is hot, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Great location for visiting Vieux Lille. The staff were very nice and friendly.

The property was very basic and quite tired. The bedrooms are not super clean . The common areas looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed for a long time. Next time, I’d rather spend more for a better hotel

Not remotely worth it

the lady at check out was really friendly and the bed was nice and solid

I made a booking error do that is on me but the price I now paid (99 original, new 165) was definitely not worth it. staff was really grumpy and struggled to see the adjusted booking (correction made in app), the top bed wasn't made. There was one socket on the left of the bed and one by the desk nothing on the right or top. the room was very warm and no way to control the temperature the window open left you with a lot of street noise. safely lock was broken so we had to close it with our little one. The bathroom was rather dirty, mould and brown/yellow soap stains all around the shower base. The toilet roll holder was broken and the towels were small and had stains on them. The included breakfast is just dry baguette or croissants/pain au chocolat. Some cereal and a very small selection of meat/cheese. The coffee tatsed like milk powder and non of it was worth it. finally the parking is incredibly narrow and if your car is above average size don't go in. (Sharp turn in/out after steep slope) We only just made it in.

Basic but done well.

Although small, the property had everything you could need. Fantastic location and clean facilities. The breakfast was also one of the best we had in France. The staff went above and beyond. Had better service from the staff here than at a 5 star resort.

Not enough car parking spaces was an issue but our fault because we didn’t book the hotel until the day of travel.

Terrible!

This is a terrible hotel with rude, unhelpful and disrespectful staff members. They charged us twice for our room and refused to give us a refund even though it was due to the fault of an incompetent member of staff who could not speak or understand English. Also, we would not recommend this hotel as it is within the ‘red light district’ of Lille and on many occasions we passed ladies of the night on our walk home from the city centre.

The staff were incredibly rude and were not competent in their role. Make sure you check your accounts to ensure that they haven’t billed you twice.

very helpful staff, good parking just underneath the hotel. Good location, almost in the center. Beds were ok, the rest was just what we expected from this hotel. No problem to stay there again. We enjoyed it and kids liked it.

A good value option for a basic room on a short stay in the city centre.

Excellent location in the city centre with parking under the hotel (at an extra cost). Room is standard small Ibis Budget, clean but basic. Staff very helpful and 24 hour reception.

Being in the city centre there was is quite a lot of noise at night. No air conditioning and small room meaning window may need to be open for comfort, allowing for noise disturbance. This would depend on aspect as rear facing rooms would, inevitably, be quieter.

This is a fair offer at a decent price, perfectly located near the city center

+ A good price overall. + Very decent breakfast. + We showed up early at 11 am to leave our luggage there before visiting the city, and they gave us a room straight away. Even though it's a "budget" line you are still treated very nicely! (e.g. unlike low-cost plane companies) + Not far from the two train stations (10 minutes with luggage and a 4 yo child), very close to the city center. + I often go with the Ibis Budget line and I am seldom disappointed.

- The coffee machine for breakfast was broken, I hope it will get fixed soon! - This is a budget hotel so the room is a bit small, but that's to be expected! - We had booked for two adults and a child, but the room was only ready for two people so we had to get a "third person pack" at the reception, including bed furniture that we had to put ourselves.

Not much unfortunately.

Not much unfortunately. We thought we could rent this for one night after a night out but we could not rest at all. The night guy hosted us with a cap, hoodie and earphones on and gave us a first room which had ppl in there... The second room had two singles and the third finally met what I paid for. The hotel was surrounded by drunk ppl and we just could not rest at all because they were shouting all night. Horrible experience.
