Albeit the people are very nice, it seems it has been a hotel a long time ago, but is deteriorating for years now. No personell, no guests, no prior cleaning, nothing. The feeling is that of a deserted and rather spooky escape room. Perhaps the owners don’t operate a hotel anymore, but are happy to accept some extra money if occasionally a customer gets trapped in this place.

location was good
the photos of this property are not what it looks like these days, our room was SO run down. A lot of water damage on the walls and it smelt really bad. there is no large pool on the property even though there is a picture in the listing? there are plunge pools at some of the rooms but none of them had been cleaned for what looked like months, they were filled with very dirty water. our room hadn’t been cleaned properly and there was dust and dead bugs everywhere. Really disappointed , a rating of 7.2 for this place is very misleading. We were on our honeymoon and I just booked us into a different place right away :(

Bedroom had a very strong smell, not sure if it was humidity or the A/C
Bathroom was run down, with plaster falling off the walls, spiders in the shower corners, mirror covered with stains (hasn't been wiped for ages). Could have used a shower curtain. Water pressure was bad, both in the shower and the sink
Bedding wasn't complete, we had no flat sheet, just a bed cover which was too small. We asked for a second or bigger blanket + a flat sheet on the second day, they said OK but didn't bring it in the end (not sure they could understand us), so we had to ask again.
The little private pool outside our patio couldn't be used ("broken" apparently), which we learned only when we got there (that probably should be mentioned when you book or after). The patio/terrasse hadn't been cleaned yet when we checked-in.
Our biggest concern was that housekeeping seemed to be non-existent. After 3 days no one had come in to clean a bit or make the bed, empty the bin..etc
We had to specifically ask for it on the 4th day, by email because when we asked the staff we could tell they could barely understand English. They gave us "fresh" towels on the last day but they were full of stains, one looked quite gross..
They don't even leave a spare toilet paper roll in the bathroom, I ended up without any toilet paper left in the middle of the night when I got sick, you can imagine the nightmare. And when I asked them for a roll in the morning I couldn't even get one, so we had to go to a cafe to finally be able to poop, I couldn't believe it.
There was also a water issue. One night + morning we ended up without running water, we couldn't use the sink and neither the shower, nor flush the toilet.
They said they were gonna address the problem but when we came back much later the issue hadn't been fixed at all, to our surprise..

Such a beautiful garden, the pool is also gorgeous. Staff were so friendly. the location is perfect for everything and there’s a lot going on down that street!
Our private pool wasn’t cleaned until the 3rd day of our stay so we couldn’t go in until then and then we had to leave. Once we got in though it was lovelyyyy! Showers weren’t warm until the evening most the time but sometimes we were ok!

The staff in the reception, they were very professional and very friendly, I felt like if I was at home. Also, the cookers, the gardeners, etc, they always received you with a smile...friendly too.

Me dejaron dos botellas de agua
Arrendé una pieza porque tenía piscina privada pero esta estaba asquerosa y deshabilitada. La pieza estaba llena de arañas y telas de araña (como si no hubieran hecho aseo en meses). No les quedaba jabón en el frasco que dejaron en el baño. Era una pieza para dos personas y solo tenían una taza para tomar café, además no tenían ni un sobre de azúcar.
El aire acondicionado funcionaba a veces
La cama era durísima, horrible
