Well located on south end of Ubud close to the Monkey Forest with many restaurants within walking distance. Property is off the main streets so it’s fairly quiet.

Location, price, pool, staff were all nice. Very clean. Great value for money. It was great waking up and watching monkeys and birds in the fields and forest across the way. WiFi was great.
All good - it’s a little older so some of the fixtures had some wear and tear but it was immaculately clean so that’s no problem in my book.

An oasis of calm, nature, monkeys and birds in a busy and vibrant city.
The room is large and comfortable, the balcony connects you with the wonderful view of the field and the Monkey Forest.
The price of the room is reasonably low, so I had no expectations regarding the whiteness of the towels or bed linen. I stayed for 7 nights and I requested new towels - a common thing in Bali.
I would return to this location anytime because we felt extraordinarily well.
You have hot water, the bathroom is large,
The air conditioning works.
Wi fi is functional.
If you are a person who ONLY dreams of luxurious comfort in a 4-5 star hotel in the vision of European civilization, be willing to pay between 85-125 euros/ night.
If you want to know a little about the life, atmosphere and still virgin nature of Ubud then choose this small hotel.
I give it 9.5 points out of 10.
the towels or bed linen.

Location and outlook
A little dated

The nature is in the garden! Cows , sometimes Monkeys are around right behind the pool. And still very close to the center.
Sometimes the animals are a bit loud at night but not that bad

I loved the location! Walking down the driveway to the path leading to the hotel. The pool was delightful, and it was just amazing walking out of my room to the pool. I’d request room 2 or 3 next time as they have an uninterrupted view of the pool and rice field, all the way through to the Sacred Monkey Forest.
The community itself was less busy than other areas of Ubud I have stayed at in other visits. I loved walking to local businesses and walking to the Palace.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The owners took great pride in the presentation of the gardens and surrounds.
Breakfast was included and was a choice of an English Breakfast, or pancakes, with freshly-squeezed juice and tea or coffee.
My bathroom included a walk in shower (no bathtub to climb over - wahoo). The basin was a pedestal style, it would have been lovely to have a shelf or cupboard to put toiletries on.
The kettle was welcome and so was the fridge. I would go to the local supermarket to get water for drinking and for making coffee. I loved the fact there was no TV!
Overall, I chose this place because it was the ‘location, location, location’. It is a family-run hotel that meets the traveller’s needs; however, without the frills of the more spa-like or chain hotels.
No safe for passport storage.

The view, the room 10, the terrace, the staff. They have great great hi speed internet ! 70mbps 💪
And the best was The Location, silence and in the center of Ubud. There were 10-20 great restaurants nearby. Best value for the money !! Thank you Carik Bisma 🤗

Fabulous view by the pool, of fields and cows and the neighbouring monkey forest. Peaceful.and serene. A ten minute walk to town and activity.
I asked for an airport shuttle and it was not forthcoming so, in order to be certain of getting to the airport, I went online for other services

This is such a great place to stay, the staff are lovely, it’s a great location, the pool is lovely, the rooms are cleaned regularly. I stayed for five weeks and it was just perfect. I was a solo female traveler and I felt very well taken care of and safe. I had my birthday while was there and the lovely staff put decorations and a little cake in my room, so lovely. Highly recommend!

Loved the pool being visible from our room and the beautiful greenery in the background. Lots of monkeys in the surrounding areas. Lovely room and lovely staff. Nice restaurants and shops nearby. Short walk down to the strip where the monkey forest is. Pool was nice and not busy
No TV - not a big deal to us but just in case other people expected it

I liked that it was in a quiet location but with good access to the shops. The accommodation was very clean and the rooms were nice. The pool was beautiful and the view of the sacred monkey forest was spectacular. The staff were kind, attentive and helpful. The rooms are large with nice balconies. It had a very welcoming feel. I really liked this accommodation.
I wasn't always able to get hot water. It seemed to be available intermittently. That being said, it was never completely cold, but my parents were staying on the ground floor had no such issues. The entrance was quite long with stairs and you walk down to the ground floor. The lovely staff were happy to help with bags, so there was no issue there, but my mother, who isn't as sure on her feet, had to be mindful with those stairs. The beds and pillows were certainly not uncomfortable, but they weren't what I would call the softest that I have had in my travels. These are very gentle critiques, though, because after seeing the other accommodation around the area, I still think this was one of the best for a beautiful balance of serenity and hustle and bustle.

This place is in a great position, walking distance to shops and restaurants. At the back of monkey forest so you get to see monkeys and the boys have them under control as far as not hassling the guests.
Nice and peaceful. Bed comfy. Nice hot shower.
Breakfast yummy.
Staff are helpful
Aircon needs some service done
Needs some maintenance but what place in Bali doesn’t

Lovely bucolic setting with banteng and cattle egret grazing by the pool. The rooms are new and comfortable. The staff is attentive and helpful. The sound of frogs may serenade you to sleep after rain. Nice warungs nearby and beware of gangs of monkeys in the area. Great hotel. We'd happily return.

I loved everything about my stay here. This will be somewhere I always come back to when staying in Ubud. I loved the big family, I loved the cows, the birds, butterflies, the monkeys, the food, the room was unreal and the location you cannot beat. Thank you for letting me stay and for making my solo 31st Birthday trip so special. It was a privilege.

room comfort and cleanliness and view of the rice field. Calm and quiet. It was a great stay in paradise, and could not book longer time, unfortunately... Great value

Very quiet for busy Ubud. I was pretty ill coming in, so can’t really give a very fair or accurate review. But the staff and property were both very nice
It seemed perfect.

This place is in a excellent location and has a beautiful monkey forest view from your balcony, many an afternoon I would sit for hours and watch the monkeys play on the fields or jump around in the trees, it’s close enough to everything you need, but quite enough at night that all you can hear is frogs and crickets.
The only downside, but not the hotels fault, is that the road it’s on is a dead end for cars, and it’s long, cobbled and narrow, so if you order a grab taxi, it’s takes a long time to arrive, 20 mins plus..! but it’s quick if you order a grab bike, as they can carry on and go all the way through an ally towards the monkey forest

Location is great, with a direct view of the Sacred Monkey forest across some rice paddies from the hotel. reasonably central to everything else, jalan bisma and jalan monkey forest. cosily secluded from both streets at the same time.
overall it's a great place, but starting to look like it could use a lick of paint here or there and the sliding doors to balconies/verandah are really noisy :)

The view of the Monkey forest, the quiteness, swimming pool, clean rooms, kettle to make hot tea or coffee. I had everything that I needed. I wanted to prolong my stay but there were no rooms available. Right now staying in another hotel in Ubud, nice, 2 times cheaper, but I would go back to Carik Bisma if I could. Too beautiful to stay there.

I stayed here initially for 3 nights and then extended the stay 2 times, as I liked the location next to the fields, the monkey forest (which were frequent visitors ❤️) and chilled vibe of the location.
The breakfast was delicious, the pool clean and spacious enough for a little swim and relaxing, and the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming.
They also took out some geckos a few times, as this just comes naturally when you live next to nature...
The room can smell a bit moldly, however it is always clean, the AC works perfectly fine and I guess it just depends on each individual's behaviour to let enough fresh air in in order to make the room comfortable.
As said - I extended 2 times and therefore I was more than happy with the stay and the location ❤️

The Location was excellent, right next to the Monkey forest and the hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean and had very friendly staff.
There was afew insects in the room but this is completely normal in Ubud.

The property is in quiet location
The property’s entrance was very dark at night and slippery when it rains and smelled sewer.
The first night I was there, the bedding and pillows were very dirty and I had to use my sarong to sleep on it.
