Awesome stay!!

Convenient location, comfortable place to rest, family is very kind and helpful. I stayed here last year and came back this year and booked another night next week. It’s the perfect little home away from home with access to the refrigerator, cooking and tours. Just the perfect place to relax and unwind at an affordable cost.

Love this place!

This is my second visit to VIN VIN. I absolutely love the accommodations, family and overall vibe. The place is very clean, access to a refrigerator and cooking, fresh towel, sheets fresh and air conditioning. The family friendliness and kindness is also a huge bonus. I already booked a return visit.

The owner of the guesthouse and their family were so gentle and friendly, and their dog was absolutely adorable! I had a wonderful five-day stay here — everyone I met was sincere, warm, and kind. Amazing stay

From start to finish, my stay here was wonderful. The location couldn’t be better, the room was always clean and cozy, and I looked forward to the fresh coffee every morning. Zozo and his family are such kind and welcoming hosts — they truly make you feel like part of their family. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place !

Wonderful hostel in Ubud, will be back next time

Beautiful hostel in quiet corner of Ubud. Perfect location with all central Ubud in walking distance. Free teas and coffee available. Bed is very comfortable and private, The hosts, Zoro and his family including family dog are so friendly and welcoming and make you really fell part of the family. Nice sociable hostel and great vibe ! I’ve stayed here twice now and met wonderful people

Small family-run hostel in a perfect location. Super friendly owners, everything is newly built, comfy beds and very cute hostel dog. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, there's free coffee and tea all day. Highly recommend!

Such a comfortable stay. Perfectly clean rooms & bathrooms. Spacious dorm & locker area. Really well sized & private beds. The staff are so helpful & provide a wonderful Balinese style breakfast on request

I liked the vibe of the garden and the open space of the common room. Good for socializing if you have the luck to meet the right people. The comfy mattress in the bed.

Very bad smell in the dorm room, especially at night, and I couldn't sleep. After checking in, I asked the owner to sign me for an extra paid breakfast for the next two days I'm staying. He confirmed, but the next morning, there was no breakfast prepared for me. When I asked again, the owner apologized that he forgot, but tomorrow it will be for sure. The second morning, I came to the reception and the wife of the owner said there was no breakfast and they must forget it. So I was disappointed and after the first request, I was hoping that they would respect my order. Edit + I'm not complaining. I add a description of the things I dislike from my point of view. I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't know you lost your grandmother. Please don't be judgmental about my person if you don't know me. I just shared my experience staying in a hostel.

Peaceful heaven

Vin Vin is a piece from heaven and is very intimate. The owners are kind and give good advice. You can relax, meet other travelers and listen to their life stories. The location is very central, close to most activities in Ubud. My only regret is that I could not stay longer! Best hostel I have stayed in and very comfortable beds.

Good energy place to stay

This place has good energy; I felt at home. Zoro organizes "family dinners," and it's great to have good dinner times and conversations with other travellers. The bed is comfortable, and the AC works well. This place is one large dorm with ten beds and a beautiful dog.

Sometimes, people talk inside the dorm, so if you want to sleep early, bring earplugs. It has two toilets and one shower, but we managed to use the facilities without a problem.

Peaceful homestay with sweet family 🙏🏼

Zoro and his family run a wonderful homestay. The facilities (which he built) are new, tasteful, and extremely clean. Tucked in off the road, it’s completely quiet all times of day. Nevertheless, access to supermarkets, restaurants, and any other destination is just around the corner. Zoro provided free coffee and tea each morning accompanying pleasant conversation about Bali, family, and more. He also happily arranged transport for me for the next leg of my trip. It’s such a good value to stay here. But more than a good price, the experience is priceless.

Location is very convenient and just 10 minutes walking to Ubud Palace. Room is very spacious and clean. They provide Balinese breakfast for IDR35k.

Wonderful place, family, location

The location is perfect, in the middle of Ubud but very quiet and peaceful. The room and the facilities are very comfortable and cozy, with many beautiful details that show care for customers but also for building traditions. The outdoor area has got plenty of plants and seats, a nice place to have a chat with the kind and friendly host, his family and the other guests

Tolle günstige Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu und die Betten groß und gemütlich. Man merkt kaum, dass es theoretisch ein 10-Bettzimmer ist, aber während meines Aufenthalts war es auch nicht ausgebucht. Die Lage ist super ruhig, aber dennoch ist man mit dem Grab schnell im Zentrum und vor der Tür gibt es auch alles was man benötigt.

Un lieu calme et confortable à Ubud.

L’emplacement est idéal, très proche du centre et en même temps dans une rue bien plus calme. La qualité de sommeil est top, les lits sont confortables et l’environnement est très calme. Il n’y a qu’un seul dortoir de 8 lits, donc comité restreint, sentiment d’intimité. La salle de partage est très agréable, avec thé et café offerts, un jeu d’échec. Les sanitaires sont propres et agréables. Je reviendrai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain séjour à Ubud. Zoro et sa famille sont très accueillants et lumineux.

Il m’a juste manqué un peu d’espace pour faire mon sport et mes étirements, mais j’ai pu le faire dans le dortoir quand il n’y avait personne.

Familiär, ruhig und sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Hostel liegt etwas abseits der Hauptstraße, daher war es sehr schön ruhig. Trotzdem ist man sehr schnell auch zu Fuß im Zentrum. Die Inhaber führen es sehr familiär und sind extrem freundlich und unterstützend. Insgesamt kommt man rasch in Kontakt mit den anderen Reisenden da es einen schönen gemeinsamen Garten gibt. Ich habe mich dort unheimlich wohlgefühlt und noch um ein paar Nächte verlängert.
