Amazing homestay with lovely host, delicious breakfast, sweet little dog, and beautiful garden

I had such a wonderful stay at Yumi House in Ubud. The host lady Desak is incredibly warm, kind, and helpful. She makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and prepares delicious breakfasts every morning with different options to choose from. Also, my flight was delayed and I arrived quite late at night, well after the check-in time - Desak stayed up and waited until I arrived, which was very sweet of her. The family also has a little dog named Tju Tju who is absolutely adorable. If you love dogs, you will fall in love with him right away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, surrounded by a beautiful garden that makes the place feel very peaceful. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Ubud, so you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, and many attractions. I would definitely recommend Yumi House to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay in Ubud.

One thing to keep in mind is that Ubud is quite a busy place, so it can get noisy at times. This is normal for homestays in the city center and not specific to Yumi House, but it may be helpful for light sleepers to know in advance.

Lovely great value place in the centre of Ubud

The location was great even with a strange alleyway to get to the property you can see through the gates that it is a beautiful place. Many of the properties seem to be down small alleyways before they open up into beautiful courtyards. Lovely immaculate gardens and the buildings are attractive too. The lady who runs it is sweet, kind and helpful, she was happy provide early (included in the price) breakfast on the day I had a trip planned.

There are 3 rooms to stay and two of them are joined in the same building. The sound insulation was not great.

Loved the Stay, breakfast is definitely the highlight.

It was our first stay after we landed in bali and it was definitely one to remember. The host was really helpful. Rooms were good and had towels and soap. Highlight of the stay was the breakfast. Make sure you try the yummy pancakes and the omlette along with fresh fruits. The location is perfect and is in central ubud near monkey forest. Can't thank enough for such an amazing stay with such good price.oved

Noise gets transferred really easy to nearby rooms, so issue with privacy. I would prefer if you book bikes at a proper rental place as the bikes we received from owners acquaintance were average and had brake issues.

Everything! location, comfort, friendly and helpful staff, serenity with the amazing garden. I will definitely come back as soon as possible. Everyhting is in a walking distance to avoid Ubud's traffic jam

It has no air conditioning what is stated in booking. I thought I wouldn't mind, but I did as it remains hot at night. My main issue was that the sound proofing is low as the windows are permanently open with nets applied and the walls are thin

The staff is really nice. Every morning the owner took the breakfast to my room with hot water for my mate (drink). Also she recommended me a nice place to have dinner and helped me to rent a scooter :)

Brutal night sleep, filthy, horrendous bathroom setup

Booked for 2 nights, and got out of there at 6am on the first morning, just had to take the hit. Filthy, insects and geckos in the room, even with mosquito net up I was waking throughout the night to bites & the sound of the large gecko in my room squawking, along with the sound of person in the next room over. Could not face the thought of using that bathroom but thankfully the next place I booked allowed me to check in at 9am to shower and freshen up. Didn’t wait around for breakfast.

The family is very kind, very delicious breakfast, big fan in the room that is much better for me than air-conditioning. The room is small but it has a nice terrace which gives you the access to their very beautiful small garden. Monkey mafia can come and still your bananas, so pay attention 😄 The Homestay is very close to Monkey forest and main restaurants and bars in Ubud.

La prima menzione la merita la sicuramente la proprietaria sempre attenta e disponibile ad ogni nostra esigenza. La posizione è davvero ottima per girare tranquillamente a piedi il centro di Ubud, ma silenziosa non affacciando nella strada principale. Ottima la colazione preparata dalla Signora. Camera grandissima.

Gemütliche zentrale Unterkunft

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und hat uns gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Roller konnten über sie bzw. Ihre Freundin problemlos ausleihen. Das Frühstück wurde für uns jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und zur gewünschten Uhrzeit auf die Terrasse gebracht.

Leider ist die Unterkunft sehr hellhörig, so dass man schon früh morgens durch laute Nachbarn und dem Trubel ums Haus herum geweckt wird. Die Frühstücksportionen sind klein und man kann zwischen Pancake und Toast mit Ei wählen.

La propriétaire est très aimable, la chambre est charmante, les toilettes sont fonctionnelles, il y a tout ce qu’il faut et le petit déjeuner est très bon et toujours à l’heure. Nous avons passé la meilleure partie de notre séjour en Indonésie en partie grâce à cette GuestHouse dans laquelle nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous.

Il n’y avait pas véritablement d’eau chaude puisque elle est soit brûlante, soit tiède/fraîche mais sincèrement ce n’est pas dérangeant en vue de la chaleur dehors. Les murs sont très fins, prévoyez des boules quies pour le coq qui chante et un chien qui aboie chez les voisins. Cela ne nous a pas empêcher d’adorer le séjour !

Die Besitzerin ist super Freundlich und hilfsbereit ihr Hund Jo Jo ist auch mega und sehr freundlich die Umgebung war seht Zentral und Ruhig. Ihre pancakes sind sehr lecker 🤩

Schöner Aufenthalt in Ubud Zentral

Tolle Lage wenn man etwas in der Stadt sucht und zu Fuß vieles erreichen möchte! Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und darum bemüht, das es ihren Gästen gut geht :-) Die kleine Anlage ist sehr schön angerichtet und bepflanzt, was einen vom Ubud Verkehr und Trubel ablenken lässt 😊 Preis-Leistung hervorragend!

Il ne faut pas rêver, pour 11€ par nuit, on ne s'attend pas à une suite princière. La chambre est basique mais dans des bungalows typiquement balinais, avec un joli jardin bien entretenu et une gérante adorable. Un petit-déjeuner simple, inclus dans le prix, est servi à l'heure demandée.
