Good location and quiet surroundings

Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was banana pancakes, fruit and coffee/tea and sometimes scrambled eggs

Great homestay!

Amazing place, owners are really really nice, rooms are big, shower is huge, location is central, wifi is fine for working (video calls sometimes slow but barely noticeable and lasted only a few secs), there is a shared fridge for fresh food + drinks, aircon is not strong but the walls are really thick so I was never actually hot (even managed to cool down the bathroom). Highly recommend.

Would be useful to have some hooks to hang stuff inside and better night light.

Free Breakfast is banana pancake. Location is quilte. If you have a big bag is not good to stay here bwcause the car cannot stop near the hotel you have to carry by yourself.

A nice place to stay!

A small property in the heart of Ubud. The location is perfect! You can easily walk to Ubud centre along Bisma street full of shops and cafes. The street is not noisy and it is a great advantage! Simple property, nothing fancy, but a nice place to stay. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Wifi works well. My room was clean, tea and coffee was always available and breakfast was good! Thank you!

Loved it!

super! the couple running monks house are so kind and caring :) they organise boats to gili and transfers for very fair prices! we also rented a scooter with the couple for a day, the price was fair and the scooter was in a good condition! the house is in a quiet street in the centre and everything is very easy to reach.

worth a short stay in Ubud with local family

There’re 4 rooms totally and it’s quite nice. Room is spacious and clean. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Wifi works well. The breakfast has not much choice, I have same breakfasts for 2 days, but it’s good & healthy. Bathroom is a bit outdated but still good.

The lane to the house is small & dark.

Best wifi I've had so far in Bali. Pleasant and helpful family. Nice breakfast. Good location. Simple property, nothing fancy, but a nice place to stay especially if you need a good internet connection.

You get a very good experience for very little money.

the family was very helpful and friendly. They made decent breakfast and were also talkative. and overall a very nice stay for a good price in center ubud.

there could be more pillows on the outside area. Also the drawers of the dresser were not easy to use.

no hot water, had to leave the property at the evening (21:00) of our second stay due to the lack of hot water (after taking showers with cold water in the morning and being told by the owner it would be fixed by night) no sheets

Great place to stay for great value

Very friendly hosts and very helpful, sorted us a scooter and a driver when needed. Rooms very clean, tea and coffee always available and really tasty breakfast. Nice location, close to lots of things but set back a bit so nice and quiet.

Great value for the money, hosts are very polite, quite and central and all the 4 rooms were clean.

Great position, right next to the central streets of Ubud, but quieter and immersed in nature. Rooms were clean, spacious, the beds were comfortable. The hosts were very nice and offered to help us with all sorts of services that we didn’t need (taxi, tickets, scooters rental). Good breakfast, and in general a very relaxing experience. Thank you for having us!

SENTIRSI IN FAMIGLIA A UBUD

L'accoglienza, la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei gestori del Monka House. Il cottage è a pochissimi minuti dalla via principale ma rimane all'interno di una serie di viuzze che la tengono lontano dal rumore del traffico elevato di Ubud. La posizione magnifica che porta in pochi minuti a piedi alla foresta delle scimmie, al palazzo di Ubud e al museo Blanco. Le proposte dei gestori riguardo ad eventi e luoghi da visitare(noi ci siamo mossi sempre a piedi e ci siamo organizzati le visite/esperienze da soli ma loro propongono anche molte cose interessanti). Colazione buona (piatto di frutta mista del luogo, pancake, caffè o the).

Si. Muy bien situado, la tranquilidad y el trato de los dueños una familia super agradable que nos ofrecieron todo lo que necesitábamos.
