Cheap stay but not worth it

The advertisement

They lie about the location. They list the address as a road without number, but when we could not find it they emailed explaining that it was 150 m away, along a narrow path for pedestrians / motorcycles. We could only communicate via email because they listed an incorrect phone number. Running water was not available for 18 hours. The sink dripped and we had to put a cup to catch the water. Two out of the three days we found huge cocroaches in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay. The place is located in a quiet and beautiful area with nice views all around, and there’s a good café nearby. The hosts are very cheerful and helpful, and they also cook delicious food. I felt very welcome during my stay and am grateful for the experience

Quiet views with amazing food

I loved my stay! It was so comfortable with an amazing view. The new cafe onsite offers great food at a cheap price. Very special mention to Gede who made my stay so welcoming. I’ll be back!! Suksma

Overall, I’d happily book again!

Had a really nice stay here! The room was super clean and surprisingly spacious which was way bigger than I expected. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The location’s great too, and their warung serves tasty food at reasonable prices.

Only thing missing was a hairdryer, but that’s minor. We did have some trouble with card payment at the property due to some banking issues, so I’d suggest either paying before coming or preparing some cash just in case.

1. very clean 2. very silent (no construction noise, no loud neighbors, other guests are well behaved and quiet too) 3. very close to main road 4. I didnt expect the road is very small just for 1 motorbike (jalan kampung) but no prob, I like it, feel like village 5. Aircon, hot water works, wifi works 6. Staff (bli gede) And Staff at the cafe are very friendly

Nothing that I dislike 🤔 For improvement can add a sharing fridge + sharing water gallon because weather is so hot and humid lately

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was in the perfect location, central, peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean, fresh, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The restaurant served delicious food, and I truly enjoyed every meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud!

Had a fantastic stay at this place it was peaceful and quiet but close enough walking distance to any local street for food and or pick up a ride. The space was clean and bed was comfortable. Happily stay there again.

Clean comfortable guesthouse in rice field area off Bisma

The room is very large, has just been through some upgrading recently. The bathroom is extra large too, has a bath-tub, soap and shampoo supplied. Heater works very well, so does the air conditioning. A comfortable place to stay in; great value for money; just off Jalan Bisma that has great restaurants of all budgets. This guesthouse is only accessible by walking in or by motorbike, as it’s tucked in a small ricefield area. Nice views! I would give this place a thumbs-up for location (2 min walk to Jalan Bisma), value, cleanliness and good service; highly recommend.

Lovely stay, close to nature and very convenient for travel.

Loved that it’s located in the centre of a paddy field, away from the noise of the streets yet still very much accessible to many shops and restaurants. Super convenient. Our rooms were kept neat and clean daily and the garden is beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Loved the coffee in our rooms :)

Fantastic stay surrounded by rice paddies

Surrounded by stunningly beautiful rice paddies and a little removed from the noisy centre of Ubud, this accommodation offers everything you need for a perfect few days. The room is large and spacious, the bed is super comfortable and the terrace offers unbeatable views of the surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely stay!

Amazing place to stay in Ubud! Staff is friendly. The place is in a walkable distance from the main street, yet still quiet. The garden is green and beautiful and you can enjoy the sunset above the rice fields from your private balcony too. The room is cleaned every day, you will have your own kettle with complimentary tee and coffee. There was no any problem with hot water in the shower. AC and WiFi were strong too.

Was not problem for me, but notice that if you come by car you will have to walk around 200-250 meters. Cause the road at that area is only suitable for bikes.

Brilliant location and host

Fantastic location, tucked away quietly for a very peaceful nights sleep. Very friendly host, allowed an early check in/helping with our bags. Large room, big bed, wardrobe with hanging space, good to have two bedside tables too. Shower gets very hot. Daily housekeeping.

At times the water from the sink tap was dark and cloudy, might be the smell it was letting off - but didn’t happen all the time.

Peaceful

It’s alittle hard to find. Watch out for the small and narrow street. At the time of this writing, it’s next to the Casa Luna cooking school and across from Guardian pharmacy. The views of the rice fields are amazing, especially on the second floor. it was very private and quiet. I enjoyed my stay here. It felt like a hidden gem. It’s in the city center, but away from the noise.

It might be nice to get a mosquito net for the bed. I was worried some critters might come in. The bed could be more comfortable. The main issue I had was checking out. I wasn’t told ahead of time I needed to pay or pay in cash, and I stayed four nights. I had checked out and then received a message asking where I was. They told me they would be more mindful of this in the future. I’ve never stayed at a place that didn’t ask about payment when checking in. Other than that minor nuisance, it was a great place to stay!

Great location - many cafes nearby, very clean room, cosy interior and garden.

If you travel by bike, it is not very convenient to get to the door unless you are a pro driver - very narrow roads when you get close to the place. If you drive a car, you will have to park somewhere around 200-300 meters from the place.

wonderful guest house. From the balcony of the second floor you can watch beautiful sunsets and admire the well-groomed garden. I liked the level of cleanliness maintained daily. Great owner and very helpful and caring staff who make the perfect egg scramble! I was glad to live in your house for three wonderful months :)

The location is in a quiet area. The room is spacious, clean. Is 2 minutes by foot to Bisma street (spa, restaurants, bars, exchanges, rental facilities, etc). 10 minutes by foot to center.

The breakfast is simple and good, will be nice to have more options for vegans (the fruit bowl is the only option)
