Clean and spacious, lovely plants and birds outside, lovely view from the balcony and outside seating. Helpful and kind staff. Great location and easy access to local cafes, restaurants, temples, and shopping. Very good value for money.

The location was central for our activities. And there are several cafes and restaurants within easy reach which proved excellent quality.
WiFi did not work in my room, and this was never rectified while there.
Zero room amenities to speak of. For example, my room had a kitchenette in which the stove didn't work, and the kettle was not electric. The fridge was noisy and disturbed my sleep. No coffee or tea-making facilities. Two small bars of soap were the only bathroom amenities.
Upon arrival, I had to get the receptionist to remove two large 'creepy crawlies' from my room. This was very disconcerting.
The aircon was on thermostat and kept turning on and off throughout the night. This did not help me get to sleep or back to sleep if I woke up. No instructions available to adjust aircon remote affectively.
My room was not made up once during my stay. The towels did not feel fresh.
Breakfast had to be eaten in the room or at one small round table at reception.
