Bali Sila Bisma

The beds were very comfortable. The aircon worked so well! We were freezing the first night and had to change the temp! The family rooms are such a great size with plenty of space for luggage etc. The bathroom was a fantastic size. The shower head did spray water everywhere so that was a bit of a challenge trying to adjust the head and the pressure etc, but the staff changed the towels and mats everyday so we always had dry ones. And the room dried out overnight so it was only a minor issue. The breakfast was huge! And they had sourdough bread which was fantastic. The location was really great. Only a 10 minute walk to the busyness of Ubud, however Jalan Bisma where the hotel is located has so many great bars, restaurants, spa's and minimarts, you don't really need to go far to find what you need.

Value for money, peaceful, and serene place. The location is great with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly, helpful, and respond quickly to requests. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay.

There were some minor issues about my breakfast on the 2nd day. The ham was overcooked. But the food are good on the first and 3rd day of our stay.

Boutique, quiet, so pretty. The breakfasts were delicious, staff so lovely. It was intimate, nestled behind shops. Great location.

The property is located a short walk into the centre of Ubud, and also Monkey Forest. The road is a little uneven, and quite busy so you do need to be aware of the traffic and holes in the pavement and road where pavement is missing. Plenty of choice to eat and drink on Jl Bisma, and a number of shops, laundries, spas and other services nearby. Our car could drive all the way down the alleyway to the property which made it easy with our luggage. This was one of few places I could find for our family where everyone had a proper bed, not a sofa bed or other temporary bed which are not suitable for our teenager. The beds were also really comfortable and the bedlinen was good quality and clean. The pool looked good, big enough for the number of rooms here, however we never went in as it rained for all 4 days we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed their assistance. Nice outdoor seating area overlooking the pool.

The room was rather bland and because of the 3 beds there wasn’t really any space for anything else, including nowhere to conveniently store our suitcases. Not enough hanging space for 4 people. The air con was efficient but rather noisy, the outdoor unit more than the indoor part, so it sounded like a washing machine attached to the outside of the bathroom wall. The bathroom was spacious but looking quite tired with a lot of limescale marks in the shower and it drained really slowly and threatened to flood the whole bathroom if we showered too quickly one after another. Needed a long time to fully empty the shower area. Apart from this it was clean, just needed a freshen up and a deep clean of the shower head and tiles etc.
