Bali Sila Bisma

The location is good, off the main high street so a bit quieter but still good facilities. Coffee shop, supermarket etc. Staff are very friendly and kind. Breakfast was basic but good, you have to order the day before and there isn't much choice but it's nice. Pool is good. We chose a room with 4 bed which lead straight into the pool.

Didn't bother us but the hotel is down a small steep hill. Bathroom was quite mouldy smelling which made the whole room smell. However beds and main living area were very clean.

Host was very welcoming. There was a receptionist 24/7 , perfect location.

We had a fantastic stay at Bali Sila Bisma and would happily return. The location is perfect - peaceful enough to relax but only a short walk to Ubud's restaurants, shops and attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully presented, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was tasty, and the pool area was a lovely place to unwind after a day of exploring. If you're looking for good value, great hospitality and a convenient location in Ubud, I highly recommend Bali Sila Bisma. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Limited options for breakfast - not wouldn't stop us from staying again

The property is located a short walk into the centre of Ubud, and also Monkey Forest. The road is a little uneven, and quite busy so you do need to be aware of the traffic and holes in the pavement and road where pavement is missing. Plenty of choice to eat and drink on Jl Bisma, and a number of shops, laundries, spas and other services nearby. Our car could drive all the way down the alleyway to the property which made it easy with our luggage. This was one of few places I could find for our family where everyone had a proper bed, not a sofa bed or other temporary bed which are not suitable for our teenager. The beds were also really comfortable and the bedlinen was good quality and clean. The pool looked good, big enough for the number of rooms here, however we never went in as it rained for all 4 days we were there. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed their assistance. Nice outdoor seating area overlooking the pool.

The room was rather bland and because of the 3 beds there wasn’t really any space for anything else, including nowhere to conveniently store our suitcases. Not enough hanging space for 4 people. The air con was efficient but rather noisy, the outdoor unit more than the indoor part, so it sounded like a washing machine attached to the outside of the bathroom wall. The bathroom was spacious but looking quite tired with a lot of limescale marks in the shower and it drained really slowly and threatened to flood the whole bathroom if we showered too quickly one after another. Needed a long time to fully empty the shower area. Apart from this it was clean, just needed a freshen up and a deep clean of the shower head and tiles etc.
