What I loved most about Villa Ubud Sunshine was the sense of peace and privacy. I happened to be the only guest staying at the property during my night there, and it turned the stay into a wonderfully secluded experience.
Ubud can be lively and busy, so it was quite special to be staying so close to many of the main attractions, restaurants and places you want to explore, yet come back to somewhere that felt completely calm, tranquil and removed from the noise.
The surroundings, the quiet atmosphere and the feeling of having space to myself made this one of those stays where you genuinely slow down. I particularly enjoyed the “me time” — sitting quietly, relaxing and simply enjoying Ubud without feeling the need to rush anywhere.
Nothing significant during my short stay. I only wish I had stayed another night or two to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere for longer.

Brilliant location. Within a few hundred metres if everything you want/need, but set in a jungle location as though you’re miles away.

- nice location + quiet
- terrasse with jungle view
- the staff helped on two key topics : 1/ they brought our luggage’s from another neighbour hotel 2/ they changed the mattress which was really too soft
- you need to tell 1 day in advance which breakfast you want and at which time , while we prefer just to wake up when we feel + decide what we want to eat on the spot
- the swimming was really cold comparing to others hotels nearby , that is why we couldnt use it
