Beautiful place to stay. Beautiful grounds.

The staff is overly attentive. You aren't sneaking by anyone, everyone will attend to you at all hours of the day. My room was a gorgeous room overlooking the pool. I didn't realize there was a resident under me until the last day. It has a gorgeous green view and there is also a patio to sit on with beautiful gardens around to look at. There is a bath tub. Yet mine was pretty old.

The breakfast is pretty good, however it could be warmer, everything was not that warm. There's no way the butter is melting on the toast. It's all. prepared ahead of time except the eggs were freshly made. Everytime the rain happened (which was a lot during rainy season) the ants came into my room in the bathroom in the bath tub.

Nice location peaceful yet close to all that Ubud as to offer

Very spacious bedroom with view of the foliage, river and swimming pool, it had nice comfortable bed which is a very good after long day of exploration on foot. Location was peaceful yet close to cafes, restaurants and bars and 15 min walk to Ubud centre which is always vibrant and buzzing. Breakfast at the property was limited but it was good and served well.

open bathroom was a bit scarry to access during night, big lizards and insects patrolling...perks of being close to the wilderness.

The dirtiest hotel ever

This was my first night at my hotel after an overnight flight. As soon as I arrived, I opened the toilet and found human feces. I was so shocked that I flushed the toilet and considered moving, but then fell asleep. The next morning, while eating breakfast, the scene kept flashing through my mind. I decided I needed to move, so I spoke to the counter manager. I requested to cancel one of my two nights, but the lobby manager said there was no way to cancel and didn't express any apologies for the poor cleaning conditions. In fact, he asked me if I hadn't taken any pictures. Even trying to capture the scene that night with my camera was so nauseating that I couldn't. His attitude made me regret not taking pictures. It seemed like he was questioning whether I was lying. From my perspective, this was a hotel, so I couldn't understand how this could be possible. I was even more upset by the lobby manager's response. After a long argument, I agreed to try to find a solution with Booking.com. I eventually received a refund for one night, but that was the only proper measure. I had only stayed for one night, and even a full refund wouldn't have been enough. My first day of travel was extremely exhausting, both physically and emotionally. I even had to repack and find another hotel. Looking back, it was the worst experience ever. This hotel needs major renovations. I never want to stay there again.

A nourishing stay in the heart of Ubud for mind, body and soul

The peace (set away from road), the stunning, beautiful cascading garden down to the pool. My room was spacious with large balcony. The staff were kind and efficient. Excellent breakfast.

Fantastic stay in ubud

We had a wonderful stay here in Ubud. The staff is very helpful and amazing, room and bed is super comfy. We've rented a bike from the hotel and it's so convenient. The place is so beautiful, surrounded with greens. And most importantly, we have our breakfast everyday in the room on the beautiful balcony. The staff is very committed and they make sure to deliver them on time.

The only downside is that car can't reach the hotel. So there will be a short journey where you'll need to take the luggage in. But the staff are super helpful let them know prior and they'll just help you out.

Great location to explore central Ubud.

Villa is in a good location to explore Ubud but still relatively quiet. The pool area is nice with lots of trees around so you feel like you are further out of town. We had the triple room which is fairly basic but I was expecting that based on other reviews. It certainly did not smell of mold though so may have been renovated. Cleanliness was excellent.

I always think that nice bathroom products can make such a difference to your experience and this is something that can be achieved so easily in Bali. The soap here was a bit gross and actually smelt off. Given they have made effort to try and make the bathroom itself nice (although the double shower thing is a bit odd) it would be nice to have better products to enhance the experience. We didn't have breakfast here so can't comment. Needed to be ordered the day before and we were keen to get out and explore. On reflection the room was probably a bit more $$ than it should have been but not too unreasonable given the location.

Rats entering our room of a night when we were sleeping. -rat poo in our bed and bathroom. Stairs to get to our room from reception. Communication via emails and booking.com wasn't very good. Couldn't find our driver from the airport that was organised by the hotel. WIFI wasn't great. Couldn't use the outdoor bath because of the Miskitos. Pool a little cold (always in the shade). Nice to have a few more things like.... pool towels, milk,

Rodents in room

~Want to preface that I’ve left over 500+ reviews on Google and rarely rated a place 1* but the way this property handled the situation was unacceptable~ We checked into room #10 at the corner of the pool area around 6:00pm . All was fine until around 11:00pm when I saw huge rats poking through a gap in bathroom roof but Receptionist (Ayu) mentioned this is the time she ends her shift so there wasn’t much we could do at this time. Come 2:00am, we hear scratches and rustling BEHIND THE HEADBOARD of the bed. It continues on and off for hours despite us pounding on the wood to potentially scare the rodents away. It didn’t help and the scratching and noises continued until 5:00am. In morning at 8:00am, we told maintenance the rodent situation. Ayu receptionist wasn’t available although they said it’s 24h. Maintenance did not relay our issue and it was not addressed. Instead when we returned to the property around 6:00pm we were told rooms are fully occupied and they are not able to move us or do anything. Receptionist was on the phone with either the manager or owner who didn’t propose any solutions for us - they clearly didn’t care and wasn’t bothered to look into the rodent issue. They said they’d only refund the 2 days we aren’t staying but not last night’s. They’ll claim they looked into the issue but it was only AFTER we packed up and left. As of this posting, I’ve notified Booking.com to explain the poor and shocking experience in which the property has 5 business days to respond before a case manager gets assigned to look into this further. For what you pay, particularly in Bali, this was way below the standards and I expect some sort of compensation for the horrifying experience.

Easy walk to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. A stay here just made our holiday life very easy! We stayed in the lovely little private villa . Quiet and quaint . U wouldn’t know u were in middle of Ubud.

Roads around Ubud in general need fixing. Access to property on foot was fine. Navigating the road / motor bikes and being on foot was tricky at times.

Nice hotel and well located for short stays in Ubud

Super helpful and friendly staff ( helped us with bike rental and laundry as well as tips of what to do around), at a very good location 10 min walking from the Main Street in Ubud. Very calm location away from traffic and noise but close to many options of restaurants.

The internet did not work at all (we had SIM cards so it wasn’t a problem but if you don’t have, this is frustrating). The bathroom was very worn out (especially the bathtub) and there were no hanging options for the towels. There were also no hand towels.
