Highly recommend!

Beautiful grounds and the staff was excellent. The bed was super comfortable and I loved the free yoga class. The breakfast menu was very extensive and we ordered what we wanted the night before. We could have it delivered to the room or by the pool. Each of the comfortable pool lounge chairs had a towel on them. There were enough lounge chairs that it never felt crowded. The air conditioned room had a water cooler, fridge, umbrella, safe, coffee and tea facilities. We were down an alley just off the main road and it was very peaceful among all of the trees and flowers but we were very close to many shops and restaurants.

The bar just across the alley had a live band from 7pm - 10pm and it was loud enough that we could hear every word. We stayed 5 nights and some nights the music was soft and some nights it was pounding.

Exceptional facilities, staff & location

Beautiful traditional accommodation in the heart of Ubud. Everything was absolutely perfect. The large, beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds, fluffy towels & robes were a standout. The pool was stunning & at night it was even better. The vegetarian menu was fabulous & the staff absolutely wonderful. We loved everything about our stay here. There is a little spa right next door that does amazing massages for extremely reasonable prices too. Highly recommend.

FANTASTIC PLACE

Since i discovered this place 2 years ago i am always back. Beautiful rooms, location and gardens. The breakfast is one of THE BEST i've ever had: a la carte but so many yummy options and perfect for Vegetarian & vegan diets. Will be back whenever i visit again Ubud

All is really perfect. the only little think i may highlight is that the place just in front (called Lokal) has daily life music from 19h til 22h and sometime it can be lound ( even if you close your window) specially if you are an early beder ( as i am )

Just let's say you staying as a family and you have some elderly or people with leg problem and your are assigned to the top floor like room 20(family room) your legs will get tired due to no elevator but the staff help solve that issue by giving rooms at the ground floor because they understand

We loved the pool! The location is superb with so many stores all around and many options of what to eat for every meal. Included breakfast was lovely.

Beautifully designed with lush gardens and a peaceful atmosphere right in the heart of Ubud. Rooms are large, comfortable, and well-kept, and the staff provide exceptional, friendly service. Wonderful stay

The staff were wonderful and responsive. The room was wonderful. Breakfast delicious.

The 3 levels of stairs to the top floor with 2 little kids. They are steep and scary with the kids playing on the balcony. Will make sure we get a ground floor in future.

Tranquility and location . Lovely breakfast but as health retreat no eggs or avocado . No alcohol served but we brought a lovely healthy bottle of rose from home to have on our balcony. Good location, in the middle of Ubud but still with rice paddy views and a mostly tranquil environment. Interesting vegan breakfast choices, I loved them but rest of the family wanted at least some eggs or milk!

The extremely loud music between 7 to 10pm. I wouldn’t stay there again because of this - if the music wouldn’t bother you the I’d recommend. Also, we left one piece of luggage behind. They carried “all” the luggage down from the room at checkout, but suppose we should have checked the luggage too. Anyhow, the main issue was that they didn’t contact us about it, despite having my and my wife’s what’s app number (which they used to communicate during our stay). And when we realised a few days later and contacted all hotels and driver they knew exactly what we meant and asked for our room number t for proof it was ours!

Fabulous stay and would certainly recommend.

Our daughter and family has stayed here and recommended it to us. We were not disappointed at all. the location was good as we walked everywhere without needing to get lifts. The buildings were lovely and typically to a Bali theme. We were greeted with a friendly receptionist and all staff were very polite and accommodating the whole time we were there. The breakfast are particularly sensational. So fresh and specific to your needs. We enjoyed them at our villa as well as by the pool area. High quality and very tasty.

A minor remark would be that the property is a little tired and maybe a little maintenance is needed in the bathroom for instance.

Looks beautiful but in fact very disappointing

The hotel is well located and pretty from the outside. Unfortunately we had rooms on the ground floor (rooms 4 and 5) where the smell was very unpleasant, the window in the bathroom could not open and there was no hot water on the first day. Other rooms in the hotel are probably better.

As indicated above, try and avoid ground-floor rooms if you choose this hotel. The WiFi is not great. The swimming pool is pretty but quite cold. There are definitely better options in Ubud in this price range.

Lovely accommodation, great location, friendly staff, traditional in style, would book again

the accommodation was traditional Bali which was nice, no television which we did not miss. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts were different and lovely and the location was perfect.

The breakfast meal were usually delivered about half an hour after the scheduled requested time, but everything else was great

Our room on the top floor was beautiful and very spacious, with a gorgeous balcony to lounge around. Bathroom was big and had everything you need and more. Breakfast is beautiful, made to order and delivered to your room. Beds are really comfortable and big. Location perfect centre of Ubud, many shops and restaurants at your doorstep.

The stairs are uncomfortable, the steps are different sizes.

Passable and overly price. Pics are misleading.

The narrow lane to Gayatri is quite a challenge to enter, and you’d certainly skip this property if not for your Google map. But once you succeed in entering the property (wading through the crowed by lane with your trolley baggage, if any), it’s a nice experience to see the maintained property. However, we had the most harrowing time since we had checked in. The electricity had gone off for our room in the night just after our check in, and it took a whole 2-3 hours for the electricity to return (finally) after playing hide and seek. Also that, the two floor structure that we stayed in, seemed like a staff quarters converted accommodation with exceptionally narrow space between the bed and the adjoining wall. The LED TV was hung in the most awkward and inconvenient location on the wall, which, I guess, you’d never be able to see even with a totally twisted torso. The rooms were super tiny, for the price we paid. Also, no elevators are available to reach the first floor. Rooms are so tiny for a six feet-er like me, that the bed was a major squeeze for me and my spouse. In the evening, the loud noise from the neighbouring hotel was painful though we were told that it would shut by 10.30 pm, they went on uptil 11.00 pm. The saving grace- good Vegetarian breakfast and smiling hardworking hotel staff who really seemed to care. One thing is clear- the management is attempting to make use of the advantageous location since it’s closer to the Kings Palace (about 500 metres apart). But there are relatable properties with better facilities and competitive pricing. For the price- not worth it!
