Galang hari villa

Utterly beautiful place. So peaceful and very comfortable in every way. Lovely bathroom and very comfortable bed. Family who run Galang Hari are so lovely - nothing is too much trouble and always done with a smile. Stunning bedroom/villa. Lovely swimming pool. Fabulous breakfast. Cannot speak highly enough of this place to stay. Surrounded by the tranquility of rice fields and the lovely sounds of nature. An enjoyable 30minute walk into town or a short taxi ride. Simply beautiful in every respect. Adi picked us up from the airport and was a super taxi driver whenever we needed one - make sure you ask for him! Just be aware that the road does not reach the property so it's a 3 minute walk from the nearest drop-off - but that adds to the charm and the tranquility. Thank you so much to everyone at Galang Hari - we really do hope that we will be back. Suksema!!

What an amazing stay! I think this was one of the nicest stays we’ve had on booking.com Super friendly staff, amazing villa’s cozy, helpfull! If you need a stay in the wonderfull ubud i would look no further!

Si on pouvait, on mettrait + que 10/10 ! Tout le staff était super, adorable, serviable, réactif. Tous parlent anglais. Le petit dej était délicieux et avec plusieurs choix à commander la veille. La localisation de la villa est parfaite si vous voulez dormir au calme tout en étant à 10mins en scooter de pleins de super endroits à Ubud. De l’eau était fournie gratuitement dans la chambre ce qui est un gros plus. Piscine très propre et terrasse nickel aussi. On avait la chambre qui était parfaitement propre et spacieuse avec nettoyage sur demande. Si on revient à Ubud on reviendra la bas sans hésiter une seconde. Un moment incroyable et embelli par des gens incroyables. Merci pour tout 🙏🏻

Nice quiet location in the rice fields

It all started before our arrival, it was problematic to change the date even though I paid for the partly refundable room. They accepted it on the second time me trying to change it but they weren’t nice about it and offered me to cancel all the booking. We also rented a scooter and we made agreement for a two full days and less than a half day. The owner asked for an another full day pay even though they brought the scooter at 6PM, we were uncomfortable and had to bargain the way out of that situation. The rooms were cleaned every day but it wasn’t a deep clean… Our room had a very unpleasant smell which bothered me by the end of our stay. It might have been the mould but I’m really not sure. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything that your neighbors are even talking so if you’re a light sleeper then I don’t recommend staying there.
