Amazing structure, cozy and perfectly managed.

Pundi Kaya has been by far beyond our expectations. We found a rare balance between a great hospitality by the family of Wayan end Made, as well as the capacity to care about all the details. The structure is cozy, recent and well maintained. The garden is just amazing. The locatin is also ver favourable as it is close to the center and to many restaurants and activities, but is is also in a quiet room, a bit asode from the traffic jam of the city. Strongly recommended from my side. I I will come back to Ubud, Pundi Kaya will be my first choice.

Perfect for us. Beautiful Villa

The location was perfect for us. Just off the busier parts of Ubud so it was quiet, but not far from everything we wanted. Radiantly Alive Yoga is a 2 minute scooter ride, Yoga Barn 10mins. The Villa was really lovely. The bed was so comfy. Bathroom was nice being outside. Pool was perfect to slip onto on the hotter humid days Gardens were really nice too

We really loved everything. There was a creature that came and scuttled across the roof each morning at around 430am so if you wanted to sleep in you might want to chat to the owners about sorting that out. We didnt mind.

We absolutely loved our stay at this guesthouse in Ubud! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The villa was extremely comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The swimming pool was very clean and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling — they truly made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, a perfect start to the day. We felt relaxed, happy, and well taken care of. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back again!

This is how I would like to stay when in historical and spiritual place like Ubud. It felt like home.

The couple taking care of the property - made our stay exceptional. They took care of us as if we were family. When my daughter was sick, they took care of her for whole day. The service was intentionally focused on making us comfortable - whether it was arranging excursions, hikes, motorbikes, laundry. They arranged a 2:00 am hike for my son as late as 11:00 pm the night before. Couldn’t have asked for more

A perfect first stop in Bali

The property was beautiful with only 4 units it was very peaceful. The staff were attentive and excellent. The hists envoys Made and Wayan made our stay one to remember. They were the kindest , most caring people who looked after our every need. From Mades cooking and Wayans taking us where we needed to go we felt so pampered. They made us feel like family. If you go ask to see Wayans paintings. He is a very talented artist.

Absolutely perfect

The villa was spotless, perfect in every way. Nice swimming pool, luxurous bathroom, spacious bedroom with perfect bed and outside kitchen. So beautiful

Pundi Kaya was even more beautiful than we expected - the super comfortable bed, covered balcony, pool and outdoor bath made it the perfect place to relax rain or shine. The staff were very attentive and helpful (especially when my partner injured himself!) and we loved all the food and drinks we ordered - highlights for us being the fried noodles, meat Capcay and banana daquiri. The location is perfect as it's very quiet but still within walking distance of some great restaurants, cafes and cocktail bars, and just a short bike/drive from the centre. We would highly recommend Pundi Kaya to anyone!

Nothing! Though note you will need earplugs for sleeping as there were barking dogs and roosters in the area - but think this is true of everywhere in Bali!

I loved it here!

Quiet and wonderful authentic Balinese small villa. Delicious breakfast with many options, catered to my preference. Carried my heavy luggage in and out. So accommodating and friendly. Soft and gentle bell chimes and Hindu prayers sung before daybreak next door- only because i happened to be up and was lucky to hear it 😍

Walk a bit farther to find a restaurant with reviews. I got Bali belly after one meal at nearby restaurant/bar 😒

The location was very convenient—within walking distance from the city center, which made our stay quite comfortable. The villa itself was well-maintained and nicely presented, with top-notch cleanliness and well-stocked toiletries. The villa itself was nice, but the approach to the property and the entrance area felt quite shabby and unwelcoming. Additionally, there were many mosquitoes, and the constant sound of lizards at night was quite disturbing.

Peaceful and great location

Pundi Kaya has a great location, just 5 minutes walk to Ubud’s main road and far from all the noise. Bed is big and bathroom as well! The place is peaceful overall. They can also prepare breakfast in a box if you need to leave earlier, they did that for us and we really appreciate it!

Nice location and the staff was amazing and super friendly. They have a lot of breakfast options, you can just let them know what you would like from their big menu and they’ll make it. We had to leave early every day, and they gave us a breakfast box.

Amazing!

Loved our stay here! The staff were all so lovely and helped us with everything we needed. They sorted the mount batar hike for us and allowed us to extend our room for another night so easily! If we were ever in ubud would definitely come back!!! Strongly recommend

Convenient

Nice pool.

Breakfast can definitely be improved. The rooms are within a private property and it feels like you are entering somebody's home. Someone may like it, I found it uncomfortable. Staff should also work on being a bit more discrete. There are 4 rooms but only 2 lounges by the pool. There is no reception. If you need something (like scheduling breakfast), you have to go looking for people in their homes. Bathrooms are huge but very dark and the shower doesn't have hot water.

Close to the Ubud Centre

It was nicely located, 10/15 minute walk to Ubud centre. Nice spots to eat nearby and to do some souvenir shopping. The stay was okay, but maybe at this price point during December/January holidays I'd look for something else.

Full of mosquitos which is normal, but there wasn't any mosquito killers or curtains long enough to keep them out. There was some gardening work in the building right next to our room, which was extremely loud. Apparently this happens only on Fridays. Strange smell overall, not sure if it was coming from the fridge.

Perfect stay for a few days ubud

Amazing place, secluded yet very near from centre ubud. Its about 10-15 minute walk to the main areas.

Cleaning was not superb, they made the room each day but some trash was next to the bin and the bathroom smelled like old water. Not too bad but not great.

We loved the location of our villa just down the road from the main street. The was some good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were lovely and clean and serviced every day. We loved all of the staff - they were so friendly and helpful.

Great place, unless you absolutely need privacy,

Very nice place, one of four in a block (2 on one side of the pool, two on the other side) at the bottom of the property. Clean, spacious and in quiet surroundings, yet only a short walk to the city center of Ubud.

The fact that the 4 rooms/bungalows are adjacent and across from each other, with a pool in the middle, leaves little room for privacy (unless you stay inside and close the curtains).

State there for 2 weeks. It was silver clean and tidy room, cleaned every day. As there is only 4 rooms, it is quiet and personalized. The room is nice and with the walk in pool. The family was super friendly and helpful in every step to make sure that you are feeling well. Location was great - close to everything but away from the traffic noise.

A hidden gem - loved it

+ Great location - you are away from the busyness of the centre so it is nice and peaceful, but then only a 5 minute walk away from the start of the main street. + The staff (especially Dinda) are all very welcoming and friendly. They would always say hello as you walk past and check how your day was. Dinda was more than happy to help with providing taxis and any excursions, and all at a great price. + Plenty of options for breakfast and very flexible with timings. We climbed Mount Batur one day and she gave us breakfast when we returned at 10.30am which was very kind - always willing to go out of her way. + The villa setting was beautiful - the pool was very tranquil and the rooms were clean and spacious. They cleaned and gave bottles of water every day. New towels and bedding were also provided as we stayed for 5 nights. It was nice to sit outside on the terrace. Air conditioning was good and tea making facilities too.

- Everything was superb, but one tiny thing would be to have the hand soap by the sink
