Enjoyed it and central

The private pool was the best. Very clean and lush in the surroundings. The rooms were spacious and everything we needed.

Just a few essential kitchen items like a clean wash sponge would have been good. The wifi was very patchy too

Peaceful, spacious gem. Perfect for family with older kids.

Beautiful villa, tucked away and very private, lovely views surrounded by greenery. Loved the pool and great on site massages in a dedicated massage area. Teenage kids loved having their own space downstairs while we chilled in the master bed with balcony upstairs.

Just be aware that, despite the name, the restaurant shut over covid and hadn't reopened, so you need to head out for breakfast, good place just over the road. Walkable to ubud centre but taxi / grab app is best.

Had a great time.

Gorgeous Villa in a really nice location. Nice community pool and a very nice private pool set amongst beautiful gardens. Beds were comfy and the staff came daily to refresh towels and keep things clean. Cold air-conditioning, good fridge and cooktop. Only downside were the mosquitoes, fixed with a few coils and no lounge area but otherwise very pleasant and would recommend.

★ Hidden Oasis - great stay!

What a wonderful villa! We were a group of friends and truly enjoyed our stay. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the center, or a 5-minute ride by Grab car. Along the way, you'll find numerous grocery shops, coffee shops, and banks. The villa itself features two spacious ensuite bedrooms, an outdoor kitchen/dining area, and an incredible infinity pool surrounded by lush jungle and gardens. Although the place is a bit dated and could use some maintenance, it was kept clean, towels were changed daily, and a large water tank was provided. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely return when we're back in Ubud.

Overall, it was a great experience. However, it would be nice to see some updates to the villa and its facilities.

If you can’t sleep very well with noise and light, that will be a big problem, because of the roof (I think it is a bamboo roof) and the construction material for the rooms/building you cand here everthing from outside (people, scooters, etc) and also when the sun rises , all the light comes down through the roof…

It's a hidden gem and it's perfect for longer stays

We stayed for 5 weeks at Cilinaya and overall had an enjoyable stay which we recommend. Things we liked: - the garden is super nice, green and quiet, bigger than it looks in the photos, with lots of spots to sit and chill. - spacious rooms, reasonably modern, daily room service, super generous balcony with sofa to sit on. - an open kitchen area that is shared between 2 rooms that we could use to cook some basic meals; most of the time we were the only ones using it, so it almost felt like a private kitchen. - pool was big enough and clean. - staff was always friendly and helpful. - the view from our room (upstairs) was amazing, since the villa is right next to a steep valley full of palm trees, vegetation and rice fields on the other side. - the location is not very central, but you still got everything within walking distance (tons of shops, cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, laundry) that are even more reasonably priced than those in the city center. - the place feels very safe at night. - you have plenty of parking space for scooter in front of the villa. - there is a spot in the garden where you can do a massage for a good price.

Things that could be improved: - internet was not very reliable. Usually it was good enough for video streaming, but we always had to switch between networks when one of them was randomly not working. For business-related videocalls we could never rely on the wifi so we used mobile hotspot from our phones. At least the 4G phone signal from Telkomsel is good and stable in the area. - don't expect the kitchen to be very well equipped. The silverware, pans and plates were in pretty bad shape and a bit yucky. We bought our own from the shops nearby. Also, for some reason, they don't clean the kitchen area as well as they clean the rooms. - you can get to Ubud center if you walk about 20 minutes, but the experience is pretty bad (sidewalk is full of craters and a lot of times there are cars parked on it so you have to step on the road). We rented a scooter and it felt way safer than walking.

"Jungle" view

The 2 bedroom villas view over the beautiful greenery and Infinity pool was amazing. The grounds outside of the villa are stunning and well kept. Staff were diligent and friendly cleaning the rooms every day. It was a lovely, quiet atmosphere away from the traffic of Ubud. I think this place may be struggling to recover post covid, and some fundamental pieces of equipment need replacing, namely the umbrella and pool lounges which are old and broke under our weight when laying on them.

Perfectly fine place to stay. It is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. It is a little further out of "town" than I expected, but the walk after dinners did us well.

large groups will be in separate spaces. one kitchen had a ceiling fan…I wish they all had ceiling fans. they make a big difference for people who are not used to the heat.

Pleasant

Good 2 bedroom accommodation near Ubud, about 25 min walk to the center. Nice restaurants around, lovely garden and kind staff.

Our place was infested with mosquitoes so makesure to ask for spray and coils. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable, it's a little bit outdated.

the rooms are luxurious spacious and super clean amazing views of the rice fields and jungle and a great pool. staff were great cleaning every day and loved the kitchen

lack of accessibility not easy to walk anywhere from here and not many shops or restaurants nearby however getting deliveries and getting taxis super easy and cheap. Also I was not keen on sharing a terrace and kitchen but depending on your neighbours is all good and great to have the facilities

Lovely staff and room, very loud animals each night.

The staff were very attentive. The room came with a shared kitchenette with one other room which was handy as we weren't close to many restuarants. The surrounds were stunning with rice fields, plenty of nature and a lovely swimming pool.

The food we ate on the first night upset our stomachs but it may just be our western stomachs adjusting. The location did not have much around. There were bugs in the room and the loudest racket from a bird/ birds outside every night, very difficult to sleep.

Serene, Calm and Beautiful!

The place was very serene, calm and beautiful. My kid really enjoyed the private pool. The place was clean and the pool view with nature in the backdrop was perfect for casual chilling. The owner was very friendly and very proactive to cater for all our needs!! Really enjoyed a week stay in the villa.

Beautiful setting, especially out the back of the villas overlooking the trees and rice fields. Always very tidy. Staff were always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Big bathrooms. Walkable in to town but quite far to do often so would recommend a scooter

Comfortable staying option for families/friends in a quiet neighborhood not far from the city centre

Location not too far from Ubud centre, quiet and spacious villa, comfortable beds, smiling and helpful staff. Wayan and Liang were very helpful.

The pool water had a bit more chlorine / chemicals than I was expecting, kitchen could be stocked with a few small plates and bowls. Rooms have only AC, no fans. Sometimes one does not need air conditioners all the time.

We have warm memories of our stay. A place to come back to.

A quiet place right inside Ubud city. The hotel is in traditional Balinese style. The greenery adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pools are charming. The place is kept spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Food. The breakfast was very good. For meals the kitchen was quite limited. Of course, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Language. No complaints about the reception, but the household staff would do well to brush up their English.

Wi-Fi was most of the time relatively slow. The maximum speed was 25 Mbit, but usually, it was around 5 Mbit. So if you are a freelancer/digital nomad/remote worker, be prepared, because video calls going to lag.

Nice and calm place with a separate cafeteria/restaurant room outside, that is very comfortable for working.

When we have checked in, first they gave us very nice room, but it has very bad smell because of humidity. Later we said about that and they have offered a better room. So we were satisfied finally. Breakfasts are so so.

Nous avons adoré le massage. L'endroit est exceptionnel avec musique naturelle des fontaines. Personnel super gentil tres attentifs a nos demandes. 2nuits en famille avec nos deux enfants de 6 et 10 ans. Parfait continuez....

La piscine ete un peu trop sombre le soir mais cela ne nous a pas empêcher de nous baigner. Et les guekos mais normal avec la végétation.

Splendido soggiorno!

Bellissima location, stanza pulita, molto grande e accogliente. Struttura recente, con varie stanze e piscina ben tenuta. Staff molto gentile. Possibilità di fare massaggi in struttura a bordo piscina (molto consigliato!). Posizione per gite ed escursioni strategica in quanto un po' spostata dal centro molto trafficato di ubud

Terrazzo e cucina non privati, ma in condivisione con la camera accanto. Livello di umidità elevato in quanto la struttura è immersa nel verde (condizionatore da utilizzare costantemente). Distanza a piedi dal centro non indifferente, circa 30 minuti a piedi in una strada non troppo illuminata e molto trafficata. La sera però con Taxi/grab in pochi minuti ci si arriva.

Goed verblijf

Goede villa met leuke buitenkeuken en heerlijk zwembad. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers: 1 begane grond en 1 op 1ste etage. Heerlijk is ook dat de villa ligt aan een drukke straat maar eenmaal binnen merk je daar niks van. Restaurant tegenover villa is aan te bevelen. Lopen naar Ubud Centrum is leuke ervaring en vaak sneller dan met taxi.

Villa heeft wat kleine mankementen maar voor ons niet storend. Denk aan wat kleine lekkageplekken, verfbeschadigingen, oude kussen bij zwembadbedjes en weinig keukengerei.

Wauw wat een top personeel/eigenaar. Voor iedereen die naar Bali gaat zou ik zeggen, boek deze plek!!!!

Super groot appartement. Met alles erop en eraan. Groot balkon, goede keuken, en het vriendelijkste personeel/eigenaren die je je maar kunt wensen. Echt een top service. Je wordt heel warm ontvangen met een grote glimlach. Willen in alles met je mee denken en helpen. En hebben veel extra aan te bieden zoals massage, pedicure, en eten/drinken.

Een heerlijke ervaring in een rustgevende omgeving met een fijn zwembad.

Snelle en vriendelijke service. Reparaties aan de verlichting en de kamers werden snel uitgevoerd. Medewerkers staan altijd voor je klaar en helpen je waar ze kunnen. Toen we moesten vertrekken en het heel hard regende en de taxi klaar stond werden er zelfs paraplu's naar ons toe gebracht!

Sind Corona is de centrale keuken al dicht. Dat is jammer. Aan de overkant van de weg zat een goede plek om koffie te drinken, ontbijt, lunch en dinner te gebruiken. Beddengoed en handdoeken waren schoon, maar sommigen waren wel versleten / aan vervanging toe.
