Absolutely fantastic. Glad to have stayed at Divara as my first trip in Bali.

Staff is really nice and kind. It’s a family owned business so it’s always great to support the local businesses. The hotel is very clean and quite nice. Location is absolutely fantastic. It’s very peaceful and would definitely stay here again. It’s a bit off from the main road, but that’s actually not a bad thing since you get peace and quiet. Still convenient to go places.

Very nice hotel, I liked it

We stayed here for one night and liked everything. The hotel is in good location - near the center of Ubud. The room is very comfortable. I especially liked the shower area, very big and comfortable. Also appreciated blackout curtains. The staff was nice and helpful: we forgot a t-shirt (it got tangled in the bedding) and they made sure to check all the hotel laundry, found the shirt and returned it to us. Also they allowed us to leave our bags in reception area after checking out for a couple of hours.

Be prepared that the hotel is quite small and the pool is not big, but it’s enough to refresh after a long day and swim a little. It’s perfect if you want to stay close to the city.

Best breakfast in Bali!

We loved the breakfast. It was the best breakfast we had in Bali. We also loved the private pool. No one else took a dip, so we had the pool to ourselves. The service was really good by the staff and they would always be quick to reply on what's app.

We didn't like the long walk to the hotel as it made it annoying to catch taxis as you had to take a 5 minute walk to the main road in order to get a taxi.

The place is small and beautiful. The pool is great. There are great places to eat nearby. The breakfast is simple but delicious.

There is construction nearby, but we were away all day and it didn't bother us. Access to the hotel is only by scooter or on foot.

The hotel was on a quite street only about 10 mins walk to the main road. Really good WiFi and the breakfast had good options especially the smoothie bowl

Great place to stay in Ubud

We had an amazing stay in Divara. Cozy and clean rooms, with access to the swimming pool. Tasty breakfast is served every morning and room cleaning is provided every day. Divara's staff is very friendly and polite. They always greet you with a smile 😊 Perfect location: close to the city center, but there is no noise nor crowds. Really good places to eat and a supermarket nearby. Highly recommended!

Clean room in a nice environment with good location for exploing Ubud

Clean comfortable room, nice pool area outside. Good location with easy walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Not manned 24/7 although tgere was someone waiting on our arrival. Breakfast was quite basic but delivered on time to a table immediately outside our room.

Clean, spacious room with a lovely balcony set amongst the rice fields & off the hectic streets of Ubud. Lovely pool.

Peaceful escape in Ubud

Spotless room, clean and very well equipped. Perfectly working aircon and new towels. Staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable! Walking distance to main tourist attractions. Would for sure reccommend!

Breakfast was below average (compared to other accommodations in Bali) - portions were very small and it was very basic. Cars cannot reach the accommodation, which is difficult if travelling with suitcases or during heavy rain. Definitely something to bear in mind as it will make your arrival/departure harder.

Great stay, great value for money

The property is a little gem and we were sorry to stay there only for one night. Good location in a little alley, surrounded by a lot of nice restaurants with good access to the city center but away from the noise. Room was nice, clean and comfy with strong air con.

The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes, but the portions are very small. Also design of the bathroom floor tiles is bad, the tiles become very very slippery when one takes the shower. My husband almost fell and I have properly fallen flat on my back, almost hitting my head on the little step to the shower. A bit dangerous.

Ubud stay

The room was fairly modern and mostly clean (I think there was a bit of mould on the curtain/upper wall). The pool was nice, even though I did not use it. The location was nice and out of the way of the bustling town, and still in a good spot to order a Grab. I could check in myself early in the morning from having an flight. They offer tours and I booked one, which was really good. The fresh fruits and coffee at breakfast were nice. The staff were very friendly and always politely asked if they could clean my room.

I arrived at 3am, and one staff member knocked my door at 7:45 a.m., asking when I wanted breakfast. But, he knocked 3 times and didn't give me a chance to get up and open the door after the first knock. (I was very tired). The breakfast juices and sausage / potatoes were only average. The step in the bathroom where the toilet is, is a bit short, so people could quite easily trip on it.

A two nights send off before flying home

It was clean, well maintained, the room was kept cool thanks to a wooden panel on the outside corridor of the room. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked amazing and there was a little bassin with fishes on the top deck. It was our favourite accommodation over the whole 3 weeks Bali trip. Highly recommend it! 🙂

Highly Recommend

We stayed for 2 weeks and we had the best time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was dely, the best pancakes I ever had. Walking distance to the main road and Super Market but also very quiet where it is situated.

No vehicles can get to the hotel and that made it a bit difficult to navigate with suitcases BUT it was like just a few meters from where our transport dropped us.

A peaceful and welcoming retreat with great service and a perfect location — we loved every moment!

We truly enjoyed our time at this peaceful and beautifully maintained hotel. The room was spotless, felt newly built, and had a fresh, modern feel. Breakfast was delivered straight to our room in the morning — a lovely touch that made our stay even more relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile. Another big plus: there are several great restaurants just a short walk away. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful accommodation in peaceful neighbourhood, easy walk to main area of Ubud

Clean, modern, peaceful - away from busy main road, but also just a 10-min walk. Lush plant life, nice cool plunge pool. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space in the room. Very good breakfast.

Welcome at check-in wasn't very friendly. I think staff on duty were shy and didn't speak much English, which made them avoid eye contact and they were reluctant to answer questions or provide info about the surroundings. They ask the day before what time you want breakfast bringing to your room, but sometimes it was early and I wasn't ready. The fish 'pond' is pretty but it's cruel for the fish. Some fish have growths on them, and there is no plant life or enrichment in the pond for them. Staff told me "no laundry" when I asked, but actually there's a place 1 minute away that does laundry!

Calm, relaxing, close but quiet.

The room was so nice, comfy Bed. Modern clean bathroom, cold air conditioner that was quiet. The pool is small but for the five rooms it’s perfect didn’t have to share at any point, clean and sooo relaxing

When you walk one way out it is very quick and lovely the other way out has laundry, warungs etc but is longer. On the way back after a big walk in Ubud it feels long and it uphill. Not horrible though

excellent place!!

We loved our stay at Divara Ubud. The structure is new and the room was always very clean. we had the room at the second floor so waking up to take the breakfast at the terrace was the best way to start our day in Ubud. it’s not far from the center, but distance enough to enjoy the quiet. we also appreciated the location being between UBUD center and the rice terrace we didn’t have to go through Ubud traffic for our morning adventures.

Nice place for a good price

Staff were very friendly, courtyard is really nice, position is quiet, less then 10 minutes walking distance from center. Mattress very comfortable. Every day staff brought 2 bottles of water.

We did not like the breakfast except green smoothie bowl. Water glasses were dirty more then one time. Odore of mold were present in the bathroom and in the room even if the mold itself we did not see, but because of luck of good ventilation we felt the humidity a lot, more then outside.

Staff very kind and helpful. Location really nice, 5 minute walk from the city center. Cute room, clean and comfortable.

Street is not reachable by the taxi cause is too narrow. Dark during night, but included into a safe and cute neighbourhood. Bedsheets have been found dirty during our first night.
