Nothing short of perfect and homely for a sole traveler

I got a very warm welcome every morning and evening, my room was spotless and cleaned every day and I had to I could watch, dead centre of ubud and lovely quite spot. Absolute bliss on my 6 week ravelling best hotel

Refrigerator in the room. Spacious shower with glass partition. Clean and quiet room. Nice and helpful staff.

An amazing Boutique Hotel in Ubud

The most amazing people. My wife was very ill as we arrived, they helped us call a doctor who arrived in minutes then made sure we we where ok by checking up on us regularly, can't speak highly enough of the owner..THANK YOU. The hotel is stunning and in a really central location...a must if you want a boutique stay in UBUD

Budget Hotel in the heart of Ubud

1. Location : Right in the centre of Ubud! few minites walk to ubud palace and art markets. Many shops , restaurants and massage shops around ! 2. Staff are very friendly and helpful 3. Water dispenser is provided. 4. Room is spacious, and generally clean.

Amazing Stay!

My friend and I had an amazing stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they organised the sunrise hike up Mount Batur for us. They were so welcoming and attentive also. The accommodation was very spacious and was extremely clean. The location couldn’t have been better, this property is situated in the centre of Ubud so everything is easily accessible.

Perfect stay!

Perfect location - walking distance to most stores, comfortable place to stay and helpful staffs. Clean place and regularly maintained. Felt safe to relax and unwind here. Clean filtered water available. I’ll be back here again for sure.

The WiFi was unstable for the first few days but turned out to be okay the whole week. I do wish the TV was a smart TV to connect to my devices as the current tv is the normal TV w local channels.

Excellent location along Jalan Hanoman - it's a busy street but you hardly hear the traffic. You can easily walk anywhere from here! It's steps from the main road, Jalan Raya Ubud, and a short walk to Radiantly Alive yoga studio. It's also just one street down from Jalan Goutama where all the eateries, cafes and retail shops are. The staff are courteous, helpful, honest and cheerful. The room is cleaned everyday and they replenished the coffee and tea sachets in the room. They also helped with laundry services. The room is spacious and had what I wanted for my stay - an electric kettle, a mini fridge, a small wardrobe to hang clothes, portable towel rack, face and bath towels, and a desk to work from. There was also a TV but the channels were all in Indonesian and I don't watch TV anyway. There was also a small room service menu of local dishes, local snacks and non-alcoholic beverages at very reasonable prices. I tried the latte and green tea latte - all good!

The aircon unit was noisy for me. I'm sensitive to noise so it bothered me a bit at night but it wasn't too big a deal once I got used to it.

Our stay here was made even better thanks to the lovely staff who helped organise onward travel and messaged me to let me know about early morning noise from arriving guests the following morning. The room itself was very spacious with a warm powerful shower and good AC. Having a fridge was also very welcome. Location is also amazing!

Central location, comfy room.

Lovely room, very comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Provided bottles of water everyday and the wifi was really good. Lovely central location in Ubud but not on a noisy street. Felt very safe and secure there as a solo female traveller. Lots of storage space, lovely big comfy bed, plenty of towels and made up the room everyday. Would stay again any time. Amazing price for what you get as well.

A gem in central Ubud.

This is a home stay with a difference. It consists of 6 fully renovated/as new modern clean units inside the private compound of a traditional Balinese residence. You have the best of both world. The setting is traditional, and the apartments are modern and spacious. Breakfast is available at small charge. We did not try it. There is a communal kitchen attached to the ground floor of the apartments where you can have your own meals. The position is the best if you want to stay in bustling central Ubud where all the action is, and yet peaceful and quiet inside the secure private compound. Everything is walking distance. The owners quickly become friends treating you as honoured and valued guests. The price is very reasonable. We are looking forward to return some day to this piece of paradise.

The only thing we did not like is that we had to leave.

The staff was very attentive, they were there and present at all times to solve any issue and were quick and efficient. They were exceptional. Rooms were clean, well maintained and pretty new.

It would be amazing if they included breakfast. With a lower cost payed at other hostals it was always included.

Kak Nyoman helped me to feel comfortable staying at Rumah Kultur. I checked in late but the owners and Kak Nyoman waited me. Even they sent a helpful driver to pick up and drove me safely. Even Kak Nyoman helped me fixing my broken wheel of my suitcase. I ordered to have daily breakfast while stayed there. The breakfast was superb and exceeded my expectation. I felt comfortable, relaxed staying there. The room was spacious and super clean ! The bed was fluffy and clean. The location of Rumah Kultur was the amazing. Good restaurants and cafes were located in walking distance. The Ubud Market was located closely as well. Though it was located in the centre, Rumah Kultur was an ideal to stay because no buzzing of busy streets was heard. Definitely I will stay again there when I will go to Ubud.
