Location, big room with comfortable bed and clean bed sheet. Hot water for shower. Cover verandah with dining table to sit outside.
The shower cubicle could be improved with a better shower head and shelf for placing soap/shampoo. The glass door and wall to ceiling glass wall need better coverage with curtains (some hooks were missing and falling off the rod, had to use my own hair clips to ensure outsider can't peep in through gaps.

Close to the action, nice staff, breakfast is okay.

W if you are expecting 5 star luxury well it is not. But for the price it is very good value. I would stay again
Dam roosters at 5 am. That being said and as one local told me. If you do not hear roosters in the morning, then you are not in Bali.

Liked · The location is very good, just a short walk to Jalan Raya, the craft market and palace.
The one staff person I dealt with was very nice and helpful.
Breakfast was good and plentiful.
I've stayed at the Imam several times previously, and that I return is testimony to it being of a good standard.
Disliked · There are a few things in the room that are a bit tired, door curtain coming off the hangers, and broken tiles in the bathroom.
The wifi dropped out frequently in the room, but was fine on the verandah.

Bigger room than I expected, the view from both sides is amazing, the balcony was very enjoyable! Perfect location, the street is closed for cars at night and many shops around the property!
The bathroom (as often) has an open window so it gets very hot.

This was my first time visiting Bali, and Asia for that matter, and my first stop at Iman Homestay in Ubud did not disappoint. I adored the view and the privacy I was afforded, based on where my room was positioned. It feels both in the heart of the town and still tucked away enough for a peaceful experience when I was my room. I also loved the patio spacing and getting to sit out to have meals, converse or get work done.
There was construction across the walkway, but it was not intrusive at all. Not a problem, just something to note.

Great property, lovely breakfast delivered to the balcony. Hot shower. The location was perfect right in the centre so close to everything and easy to access
The only negative was that the pillows were a bit lumpy and not the most comfortable everything else was amazing

Typical Homestay based in the heart of Ubud.
You can easily visit Ubud by walk.
The staff was kind and caring and they clean up your room quite often!

Staff , there is a just one lady , who were helpless to maintain the cleanliness due to lots of work along as a receptionist job
I had a terrible experience at this hotel despite paying a premium compared to other properties with the expectation of a good stay and relaxation. The room was plagued by excessive noise throughout the night and early morning, making it impossible to get a peaceful sleep. Some room vents were blocked with hardboard, allowing sounds from the reception and ground floor to be clearly heard - including conversations. The toilet was in a deplorable state: broken, mouldy with broken tiles. To add to the discomfort, there was a bathroom leak causing water to 'shower' onto the handbasin, meaning you'd be brushing your teeth in dirty toilet water. The room fan was extremely dirty and mouldy - a clear health risk, especially for anyone suffering with asthma or dust allergies. While the housekeeper and receptionist were helpful, it's clear the management is prioritizing making money over maintaining the property and ensuring guest comfort. Not worth the price paid.

Rustic Design and architecture
The bathroom was full of mosquitoes, very dirty, and quite worn out. There was no toilet paper, and some walls were damaged. The pillows were old, and the towels smelled damp. Although breakfast was supposed to be included, we never received it."

It's right in the Ubud's centre, on our favorite street, and although it requires light renovation it's nice and good value. We enjoyed our stay here.

The place is well situated and near the main facilities, and the staff are friendly and pleasant. The area is dark and a little intimidating at first but it turned out to be quite safe and friendly.
The toilet didn't work - didn't flush, so a bucket had to be filled and used as a flush. The shower was a trickle, so again I used the bucket so be able to shower. There is only cold water for the shower.

Beautiful property in the heart of Ubud! This homestay is absolutely wonderful. The location is very convenient and steps to shopping, restaurants, markets and other attractions. At the same time the homestay is tucked back on the family property (about 50m from the street) and surrounded by plants and trees- you can’t even hear the nearby street. Our room was very spacious with a king bed, clean bathroom, and private patio/balcony with a wonderful view including a mountain in the distance. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and rented us a scooter each day for a reasonable price. We’d happily return and recommend this stay to others.

The personal was very gentile and well predisposed. We were staying only two days and they didn't clean but it wasn't necessary because we received the room very clean. The room was beautiful, only the bathroom is a little all but it is OK. The location is perfect for walking, it is everything very close. The breakfast was good enough.
Nothing bad to say

Location in the center of Ubud.
Friendly staff.
The breakfast wasn't something peculiar, but ok. You can choose a meal from the list, it will be served in your room.
A spacious room and a bed with plenty of pillows and cushions.
I loved the traditional style carved door.
The bathroom needs renovation, it's moldy and damp. There's a hole in the ceiling. The toilet doesn't look clean. A holder for toiletries in the shower is missing.
She towels have a nasty damp smell.
The room on the first floor faces the reception and doesn't offer a good view.

We loved our stay at Iman! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it's such a beautiful place. The location could not be better, and it even has a rooftop to see views of the city! They provided airport pickup at a reasonable price, and that gave us an opportunity to have some great conversations with Tya :) Also, delicious breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again.

Clean, great value, AC worked great, very quiet and peaceful, PERFECT LOCATION!
Clarifications: toiletries = soap, free parking for motorbikes only, you can pay with credit card for a small fee, they don't do your laundry on site but send it out (15 IDR/kg) If you give it to them in the morning, you'll have it by 7pm same day.
At best, wifi was VERY slow so just make sure you don't have to solidify any plans while in Bali.

Massage spa at the same village - good massage!
The room was not the same as the one we booked. We booked a room on the top floor with a balcony and two single beds and received a room on the ground floor with a double bed.
We found the facilities a bit old and so it ended up being a little expensive for the amount paid. Breakfast was disappointing, nothing like what the pictures show. Bath towels were very smelly.

Bathroom could do with a bit of restoration

Spacious room, big bathroom, hudge bed, in the city center, they are flexible with breakfast hours which was really convinient as we have to leave property very early
there is no elevator and sometimes you might spot some bugs and ants in the room and bathroom because part of the bathroom wall is open
