Iman Homestay Ubud

I’ve been traveling for about 30 years, never on a big budget and I’ve stayed in some pretty dodgy places back in the days. Now in my 50’s, I want more comfort. I honestly was a bit worried because of how affordable this hotel is and it turned out to be an exceptional gem. The rooms are huge, with amazing views on the city, the bed is comfortable, the terrace is very nice, everything is spotless and the family is so nice. And to top it all the breakfast is delicious and hearty. I seriously wonder why they charge so little. It’s also located on my favorite street in town, super central, but it is very quiet. I am so glad I stayed there.

Nothing. The saying is : you get what you pay for. I really didn’t mind but for the price don’t expect a kettle, a fridge or a safe deposit box. However the place is super safe. This is the family’s home so you can leave your valuables in the room without worrying.

Location is beautiful, in central ubud. Room was huge, bed comfy, staff lovely and breakfast was great.

Bathroom window is fancy bricks with holes, rain wets the toilet and you if you’re on it.

Location in the center of Ubud. Friendly staff. The breakfast wasn't something peculiar, but ok. You can choose a meal from the list, it will be served in your room. A spacious room and a bed with plenty of pillows and cushions. I loved the traditional style carved door.

The bathroom needs renovation, it's moldy and damp. There's a hole in the ceiling. The toilet doesn't look clean. A holder for toiletries in the shower is missing. She towels have a nasty damp smell. The room on the first floor faces the reception and doesn't offer a good view.
