Dara Bali Guest House

Large private villa homestay with your own private garden which I now prefer over 4-5 star ubud hotels (it’s my 6th trip). Comfy bed/pillows, I was grateful for a ceiling fan as the AC wasn’t necessary. Breakfast choices are varied & tasty, delivered at a time you choose. Mart 50mtrs on right, great coffee at Pisah a 2min walk, spas along street, 2 money changers at end of street on left & the amazing Sun Sun Warung for great Indo food. I treated myself to a chakra spa day at Tejas a 2min walk from the homestay & was able to use their pool (get a 1mill voucher & you get 1.5mill to spend ;) ). Dara homestay is located beside a short cut path only for pedestrians & bike use -this means you can reach the central shopping & restaurant district by foot in minutes. Not hearing bikes, people, car horns & general tourist/party noise in your private home is the real draw card to stay here. This is a secret paradise stay.

Big room with lots of light. I loved waking up with the view of frangipani. Lots of privacy. Spacious room and bathroom.

The walls look old and damp. Maybe in the rainy season is not so pleasant to stay in the room.

J’ai tellement aimé mon séjour à Dara Bali Guest House. Une chambre d’hôte tenue par un duo familial de choc. Il s’agit d’une maison, divisée en deux pour proposer deux chambres avec grande salle de bain (digne d’un spa) et de leur petit patio respectif, privatif. Une pépite cachée dans le tumulte de Ubud. Je recommande 🩷
