It is the second time we choose this property for our group trip to Bali. I would say that is one of the perfects options on the center of Ubud. Location is great! walking distance to landmarks of the city. The building looks nice and swimming pool facing a small rice field is a relieve from the hustling of wondering around Ubud. Rooms are fully equipped and comfortable and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is abundant and fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly manners. They organize all twin beds we needed, which is not easy to find in center of Ubud. I will certainly be back with my groups next time to Ubud.
There is not anything i did not like. Just recommend pointing out if you have any problem climbing stairs, because there are some rooms on the third floor. But they will help you finding rooms on the ground floor.

Amazing staff, spacious room and comfy bed. 3 different breakfast choices. Well located near central ubud, and yet, very quiet.
As many places in Bali, the humidity in the rooms makes the paint peel off the walls.

Nice pool
WiFi is awful, balcony door didn’t close, staff are clueless, breakfast service works at a glacial pace…

I stayed at Julie’s House in Ubud, Bali. The outside area and pool were quite nice, and the facilities were decent overall. I paid around $40 AUD a night (about 400,000 IDR).
The room was okay, but housekeeping could be improved. The bathroom had a bit of a smell, some mould around the shower, and the hot water only lasted a minute or two. The sheets smelled clean but had visible stains, and the bath towels were old and yellowed. The sliding door had large gaps, though mosquitoes weren’t too bad.
They provide refillable glass bottles, which is great for the environment, but I wasn’t too confident about the cleanliness of the filtered water system. There are open sewers nearby, so I skipped the water and just bought some at the mart down the road.
The view from the room was lovely — rice fields all around. There’s also a small sky deck with plants, but it felt a bit run down and neglected. A little maintenance around the rooms and outside areas would make a big difference.
Overall, it’s a fairly quiet and convenient location, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. With some attention to cleanliness, towels, hot water, and general upkeep, it would be worth the rate they’re asking.

Well situated and had all the amenities needed. Breakfast was delightful, although limited on choice.
The bathroom and towels could have been cleaner, felt like everything needed a good bleach and TLC.

Location was fantastic. Off the extremely busy streets, on a smaller street with plenty of food/massage options (Pukako and Umami were our favourites).
Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were very good.
Having the room right by the pool area was nice, great tropical feel.
Generally a very nice place to stay.
Photos must have been taken when it was first built as it was a bit tired and needed some maintenance. Particularly the bathroom grout was quite dirty and the shower head loose
Pool, although very beautiful, was too cold and didn't really see anyone using it the entire time which is a shame.
Still a very nice place to stay though, the location, breakfast and staff more than made up for it :)

Well located with lovely view of the rice field
Property is quiet tired. While clean it needs some repairs with decking around the pool showing water damage and sagging boards.

The location is perfect, really close to the main street. The room view on the rice field was also why I liked it here.
I liked my stay.

The area is near to eatery and shopping. Main area and so convenience
The hot water is so little! Can’t have longer shower since the hot water tank is too small! Perhaps should clean up the bathroom well as I can see mould on the bathroom wall. Should also provide small towels! No TV! The path walk tile to the room is slippery full with moss. Should scrap it clean to avoid injuries.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the choice of Juli House.
We have stayed many times in the same locality and know it is off the main road but central to everything.
TJuli House overlooks a rice field on Jl bisma which has many cafes and restaurants, and any services you require (massage, laundry, convenience stores).
It's only steps away from from neighborhood laneways where you can find local warungs that serve up traditional Balinese food.
The staff at Juli House could not have been more helpful. Being 'Jack of all trades' they ensured that they make you so welcome and kept the rooms and surrounds so tidy and clean.
Breakfast is served downstair by the pool or up in your room. Some mornings it was a struggle to finish off the breakfast, more than what we are used to.
Thank yoiu to all the staff for looking after us.
We would definitelystay at Juli House again.

The breakfast was yummy 😋, always served hot and well presented.
The staff was friendly efficient, always willing to Tae pictures when requested to.
The room was always clean and tidy
The location was perfect close-by to shops, market and restaurants
Hot water was a challenge, gets cold quickly, after one person taken a shower, you need to wait for an hour for it to be hot again.

I didn't like the limitation of hot water, it's a huge inconvenience.

It’s at the central.
We are only allowed to have three minutes of hot shower, after that there will be no hot water anymore, imagine it was raining on the few days we were there. And they told us because they only allocated 10L of hot water per day for the whole hotel, I think you should stick it clearly that there will be only three minutes of hot water for each shower……
The staff is not always at the counter which is really hard to contact them.

The staff were the kindest, most helping people. Whenever we needed anything, or had any questions, they were always there to help. They cleaned our rooms twice a day, and left us notes and fruit. The breakfast was standard but still good, the options were varied yet simple. The location of the hotel was perfect, just off the main road of Ubud and yet still quite calm. The pool was also extremely appreciated, considering the temperature of Bali. The room was very spacious, well organised, but they could have had more hangers.
We only had a few minor complaints. The first being that the big sliding window door, was poorly installed, which left a big gap at the top, allowing for quite some noise to seep through and for some bugs to entire, fortunately they had some heavy duty curtains to dim some of the sound and reduce the amount of bugs that could enter. The towels sadly looked quite used, despite being washed, they had multiple stains which left me quite unsatisfied. Finally, the shower had a very limited hot water supply, which meant my partner and I had to take quick showers to have hot water.

Location was amazing and the staff working there were so friendly everything you could wish for. The room was very pretty and I loved the view over the rice fields it was so peaceful. The hotel itself is well looked after I loved all the flowers up the stairs.
we didn’t find the bathroom was very clean, particular the shower and some of the towels and bath mat looked a bit dirty

We booked 3 rooms, rooms in the first floor were best value for money but the room in ground floor was not up to the expectation. Bathroom door did not close properly. There was a door behind the room opening towards the backside, it couldn't be locked properly. Groundfloor room was not as clean and neat as first floor rooms. Nevertheless, the staff was very pleasing, kind and helpful.
Very less choice for breakfast. Can be made better however there are a lot of options outside since we booked with Rooms including breakfast, we adjusted to the available options.

Staff were very good. Good breakfast in morning. Pool was very nice.
Great location. Would be happy to stay again.
Only downside doors don't close completely and a bit of a gap between door and frame for insects to get into room.

My first hotel in Ubud. Staff, conditions, cleaning, location all are best. They just don’t have in room hairdryer but is still best. ♥️🥹

The location is super good, it's right on one of Ubud's main streets, but not too noisy.
The rooms are more worn down than in the pictures, especially bathroom. Considering the price of listing, location and that breakfast is included it is still a solid stay. I don't understand why we had to order breakfast the previous day with desired time, yet they started preparing the breakfast only when we went downstairs. Might as well take our order on the go and not have obligation to show up for a specific time if we still have to wait 15-25 minutes each time.

It’s quiet, simple and serene. Very value for money.
The heater wasn’t working consistently. It would get hot and then cold, thus we weren’t able to get hot showers throughout our stay. Issue wasn’t fully rectified after giving feedback to staff.

The view is surreal nice rice paddy in front and the location is amazing!
However, the employees are nice and try but speak very limited English and hardly understand any. The rooms are older than shown on the pictures. The bathroom is horrible, there is mold everywhere and it reeks in the whole room. The shower only has a few minutes of warm water and the tap sink is lose. When I told the employees about this they simple said ‘yes every room has that. Maybe i will call someone tomorrow ‘ -which did not happen. You need to request for the room to be cleaned everyday and you need to provide them your room key. Leaking ceilings. It is difficult to find an employee at the front desk there are only 2 working and they are responsible for everything, cleaning the rooms or making breakfast, working in the garden. Leaving the front desk unattended. All in all, the location is amazing if you want to be close to the centre of the markets and the street is relatively quiet. Nevertheless the hotel and management really needs a lot of improvement.

The property is very nice, location and everything, and the rooms are very comfortable.
The cleaning could be better, and the hot water runs out very quick.

Beautiful views, nice pool, good location to everything, and nice breakfast.
Very unclean, our A/C was leaking, bathroom was dirty and shower drain was blocked. They didn’t clean the room daily and no top up for toilet paper, water bottles, and clean towels. Also, the ice they used didn’t have holes in it, meaning it’s most likely from their own tap (not safe for tourists to drink).

Exterior of hotel is great, lush greenery with a nice pool
Room was dirty and smelt damp, bathroom was very run down and very dirty. Lack of facilities and extras - no fridge in room, no filtered water/did not restock bottles in room. No room reset unless asked for. Very little amenities
