Beautiful traditional Balinese guesthouse.

Honeymoon Guesthouse is very traditional Balinese. The gardens and buildings are beautiful. The staff are very friendly, professional and accommodating. I made a mistake when booking and booked a room with fan only. It was too warm for me and I requested a change to a room with A/C, which they happily arranged.

Fantastic resort in centre of Ubud. However, it is a peaceful haven in a busy city. It feels like you are staying in a temple complex. We loved it! Breakfast is amazing. Pool was lovely and had it to ourselves.

Fabulous value for money birthday treat

Honeymoon Guesthouse has long been my favorite bed and breakfast in Bali. I like that it's owned by a Balinese Australian family as I prefer to contribute to the local community. The accommodation is huge, they have a beautiful garden, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and offers other services like a spa, tour packages and yoga classes. These things are important to me as I can only spend at most a week in Bali.

It takes a while for the aircon to work - it's too hot in Bali and that can be a drag. I suggest that they put a ceiling fan or a desk fan. The place itself is not PWD friendly or for elderly people with mobility problems as it can be difficult to go up and down the stairs and walk along the cobblestone path. You can also sometimes hear the noise at the nearby bar in the evening. Not that much . Although not an issue for me.

Towels didn’t smell good and driver from the hotel was not reliable- we were set up for specific hour to the airport and we waited 40minutes and he didn’t come. We almost missed our flight. Thanks to another driver we didn’t.

I loved the feel of this place, very laid back and with beautiful architecture. It's a perfect place for a short stay.

Two waitresses at breakfast were not very helpful or attentive, with a kind of 'I can't be bothered' attitude. I waited 20 minutes to have my coffee served when the place was not very busy.

Great location. Good choice of breakfast options. Lovely large room. Room looked very elegant. Fridge and kettle in room.

Our bathroom was open to the elements which meant bugs were able to fly around whilst you were showing. Also when it rained, it rained over the toilet so you got wet using it. If the opening was covered over, it would be great! Also the bath was not usable as the bottom had cracked but it wasn’t repaired well.

Room had no sound barrier as had no glass in windows only wooden shutters often bitten by mosquitoes. Noisey neighbours as often sat out on there porch till early hours drinking.

Paradise in a spiritual town

The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! The staff are super friendly. The food is exceptional! The rooms are spacious and were cleaned daily. The breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect. There is not one thing was a negative except we had to leave. Without a doubt, I would stay there again!!!

Fabulous time in Ubud thx to Honeymoon!

This is a lovely property and very easy to slip into a super chilled relaxed mode here. The gorgeous tropical grounds are well maintained, rooms are spacious and well appointed. The onsite restaurant and sister restaurants sell the best authentic Balinese cuisine in all of Bali at reasonable prices IMHO. Happy hour cocktails are a bonus too! Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It is always my number one choice for price, location, service and comfort in Ubud.

Nothing major! I had a problem with closing my front door one day. After reporting, maintenance arrived to inspect in less than 5 minutes and organised repair. So prompt! Only notable small glitch…The bath towels could have been a bit fresher, even though renewed daily they did have a bit of a damp smell! Hand towels were in short supply. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Honeymoon is still the best place to stay for rest and relaxation

Everything. The staff are the best asset but the gardens and pool were fab too. The breakfast the best in Bali for sure. The coffee was faultless. The room was cool and comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the sound of fountains burbling away all day around us dampened any street noise and were very soothing. Loved the outdoor terrace too

Attractive garden and architecture. Delightful staff, outstanding food as all ways. Great location and good value for money.

I love Honeymoon 3, was moved to Honeymoon garden to accommodate a room change. Still lovely, think is new so still being completed. Still loved it, but as I stayed solo, felt a bit removed. But the room was fantastic, quiet and they deliver their amazing breakfasts there

Overall, it’s a great hotel, and I can strongly recommend it!

The hotel has three different buildings. We stayed in the Honeymoon Garden, in a room with two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, plus a kitchen. It’s a very quiet area with a pool. I liked the room very much - it was clean, well-furnished, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast is served in the main building, where the reception is located. You need to order your breakfast choice for each day at the reception area. The main building is about a 3-minute walk from the Honeymoon Garden. It’s great that you can book SPA treatments directly at the hotel - the service was very good. They also offer yoga and cooking classes. The reception managers were very helpful - they helped me find my lost trousers that I had left near the pool. I had asked the Honeymoon Garden staff several times to assist, but they were completely unhelpful, which was quite disappointing. The issue was only resolved when I contacted the main building’s reception. My recommendation for the Honeymoon Garden staff would be to be more engaged with guests’ issues and aim to resolve them, rather than just doing the bare minimum.

Perfect place for staying in central of Ubud. Quiet place

We stayed at this beautiful hotel in Ubud for one night and felt so welcome from the moment we arrived! The room was stunning! Clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The pool is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was excellent – there’s such a wide variety to choose from, and everything was super fresh and delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer! This place is a little paradise in the heart of Ubud. 🌿💛

the second room that I was in that overlooked the pool i think it was room 8 - really beautiful and a great view. The previous room was good but not open enough for me - I love a view.

Very pretty and in a great location. Near the Main Street but without the noise. Close to a corner market and pharmacy. Breakfast was delicious!

Deluxe room extremely spacious which included a large patio at front that overlooked beautiful gardens & pool area. Standard room very modern at back of property. Smaller in size compared to Deluxe but extremely quiet and private. Good choice of breakfasts to suit all needs.

I received a room that is completely different from what was shown in the photos. The person who showed me the room said it has two beds and two rooms – but how does that matter if I’m a solo traveler? The walls in the bathroom are damaged, and there is an unpleasant smell. This is not what I expected based on the listing, and I am very disappointed.

- breakfast was amazing - wide room and bathroom - cleaning the room - getting water every day - nice staff Unfortunately we didn't use the pool, but it looked really good

# Generally there was a big noise during the night, so sleeping was nearly not possible: - there was a reconstruction near to the hotel, and they have started at 4am...( was strange that no work at 8am) - there was a unbearable sharp noise from the water pipes - the street noise are clearly audible # There was no hairdryer in the room # Not a good choice for heavy baggages due to the pavement and the stairs to the appartment # Small cute gekkos in the bathroom 😅 For the second night we had to buy an earplug which was really helpful 🙂🙂

The staff at breakfast were very unhelpful. They never offered a drink when we sat down and charged extra for a latte or a cappuccino. They did not smile or make you feel welcome at all.
