Darsa House Ubud

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super. Wir konnten alles schnell zu Fuß erreichen. Außerdem war der Pool schön versteckt von der Straße, so konnte man sich hier richtig ruhig abkühlen.

Die Anlage an sich ist super, wir hatten leider nur etwas Pech mit der Zimmerverteilung. Wir haben das einzige Zimmer erwischt, das nach vorne zur Straße und über einem Restaurant liegt. Daher war es etwas lauter, aber immer noch völlig fein!

It was very close to the main road and the market, loads of near by shops, atm, restaurants. The swimming pool was clean, and right in front of the room. The AC was working fine, unlike to some other places where we stayed

The outside lighting is dim. We dont have 24*7 front desk , so if you need something in the night then it would be difficult.

Mery, our exceptional hostess, did everything to make our stay enjoyable. It was great to hear the street coming awake each morning, without being intrusive. The rates are very reasonable, just understand that you pay for a nice D.I.Y. stay. The pool is definitely a much-needed part of any location, and was excellent.

No T.V., which was inconvenient, as patchy free WiFi meant content was loading/buffering consistently. This was noticed as my wife is not able to easily walk around on the rough edge of the roads, when no shops or footpaths are present. The location of the Darsa House is on Jalan Bisma, No. 28 Gianyar, and joins Monkey Forest Road at THE busiest intersection! This means that the road comes to a complete standstill every morning and afternoon at school time. Twenty minutes is about average wait time in traffic; even the motorscooters back-up, too! Although clean, the bathrooms could do with a refresh.
