Nice hotel on great location

The rooms were really large and cozy and well decorated to make it feel really cozy. The location is perfect and close to everything we needed to get to in Ubud by walking. Breakfast was served at the porch of each room which was a nice touch. The staff were really lovely.

Home away from home

Great place to stay while in Ubud - excellent value and accommodating hosts🙂

The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The location was perfect - quiet yet close to main road. The pool was refreshing and clean, rooms and beds comfortable. We stayed 8 nights (family of four) and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others.

Being early risers, coffee and breakfast offered a bit earlier would have been nice - but 8am seems pretty standard here.

A peaceful retreat in Ubud

Spacious room with a large covered patio facing the pool that was a perfectly peaceful location to eat breakfast each morning. The bathroom was open to the outside via a gap in the wall below the roof, but the humid air didn't affect the A/C in the bedroom area due to sliding door separating the two areas. The property is steps away from several food options ranging from warungs to convenience stores to Western restaurants. The main sights in Ubud are within reasonable walking distance. Yet it's on a quiet path accessible only by scooter or walking, so it's very quiet and secluded with rice fields nearby.

The breakfast was pretty small.

I regreted my booking with Moksha Ubud.

No facilities at all, they limit the water usage, unfriendly owner, no daily services ( 1 towel for 3 nights, no drinking water, they unplugged the channel tv)

the staff was lovely, I love that they welcome you and write your name outside on the board ! the room was very clean and comfortable

-the garden was still having work done and didn't really use it -the breakfast was average -the terrace is not well located since you will be face to face with your neighbor -i was expecting nicer design in the rooms, been spoiled maybe in other hotel in Bali

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Middenin Ubud, maar je merkt niks van de drukte. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en staan de hele dag voor je klaar. Heel fijn plekje!

Als je wat langer onder de douche bleef staan, stroomde het over naar de kamer (dus pas op je spullen). Het hielp om tussendoor de douche even uit te zetten.

Prima locatie, maar weinig faciliteiten.

Ontbijt is zeer beperkt. Je krijgt 2 keuzes qua eten en kunt koffie of thee kiezen. Voor verse sappen moet je bijbetalen. Daarnaast in 4 dagen die we daar verbleven geen schone handdoeken gekregen. Airportshuttle aanwezig maar prijzig t.o.v. grab.

Schöner Schein, schlechter Service

Die ruhige Lage des Hotels in zweiter Reihe ist sehr gut, man ist gleich in der Bisma Road und kann von dort aus ins lebendige Treiben Ubuds eintauchen. Direkt neben dem Hotel befindet sich eine Wäscherei und 2 Warungs sind auch gleich um die Ecke.

Mein für 1 Woche gebuchtes Zimmer mit angeblichem Gartenblick schaute unmittelbar auf die gegenüberliegenden Zimmer, von Garten keine Spur! Es gibt nämlich dort überhaupt keinen Gartenblick, da der Garten erst hinter dem Gebäude anschließt. Die nicht zu lüftende Dusche stank dauerhaft und penetrant nach Katzenp---e. Zwar kann das Hotel nichts dazu, wenn Gäste in die Dusche urinieren (was diesen Gestank hervorruft), aber man könnte ja vielleicht mal gründlich putzen und danach desinfizieren. Auch die Duschtücher rochen so eklig, dass ich mich lieber mit meinem Reisehandtuch abgetrocknet habe. Auch mehrfache Reklamationen konnten leider nichts an diesem Zustand ändern. Beim Zimmerservice wurden in meiner Abwesenheit anscheinend immer die Türen aufstehen gelassen. Jedenfalls hatte ich jeden Abend eine Vielzahl von Stechmücken im Zimmer. Ich bin diesbezüglich nicht panisch, und wenn ich nach der Regenzeit in die Tropen reise, rechne ich natürlich mit deren Vorkommen. Aber es hätte sich leicht vermeiden lassen. Und durch einige akut aufgetretene Dengue-Fälle in Ubud war das auch nicht gerade verantwortungsbewusst den Gästen gegenüber. Das Frühstück ist auch leider unterirdisch, viel zu wenig und viel zu süß und aus billigsten Zutaten. Für die sonst auf Bali meist hausgemachten Pancakes wird z. B. eine klebrige, fast ungenießbare Fertigmischung verwendet, die dann mit einer lila gefärbten Zuckerpampe (sollte Dragonfruitmarmelade sein) übergossen wird. Auch bei den anderen Optionen sind die Portionen mikroskopisch, ich frage mich ernsthaft, wer - besonders in der Tropen - mit einer winzigen Kantinentasse Kaffee oder Tee und einer einzigen kleinen Scheibe gerösteten Weißbrots auskommen soll? Alles, was darüber hinausgeht, muss extra bezahlt werden, jede Kanne Tee, jeder Saft, der von der Einheitspampe "Mixed Juice" abweicht. Das steht einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse nicht gut zu Gesicht, da ist fast jedes Guesthouse in Ubud auf einem anderen Standard!
