A simple but lovely accommodation with wonderful owners.

I stay at Cenik regularly and the reasons I keep coming back are 1) the owners are so so lovely, 2) the location is perfect! 3) it’s excellent value for money. The rooms are simple but they are everything you need and the owners can help to organise a gallon for the room if you like to have plenty of drinking water on hand (cheap too!).

Needs some tender love and care

The hosts were very friendly and the location very peaceful surrounded by rice fields.

Too bare for me, no soap in the shower, a very small bottle of water as a welcome in the room

Exceptional

If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the busy streets of Ubud, this hotel, set in a rice field , is for you. Run by a friendly Balinese family who do their best to see to your needs. Good tasty breakfast. Close to the palace, temples shops. Cheap good restaurants nearby.

Lovely little spot

Fresh, clean room in peaceful garden setting on small scale (c5 or 6 places) next to rice fields but close the jl bisma - with lots of restaurants, simple, warung (local eateries) and other options but quite peaceful. Pretty short walk eg 800.m into the craziness of ubud - with all its options. Lovely helpers/owners - helpful but respecting privacy.

No pool, though nearby hotels pools can be used.and would not expect for price.

+ Clean little homestay with a friendly family, located behind the busy Jl Bisma + Sounds of frogs and crickets at night + Good cheap warung just in front of the homestay

- One of the rooms had moldy smell, but that's a standard in Bali unfortunately - some days breakfast was served a bit late (around 9) so if you like starting your day early, better tell them in advance - The rice field in front of the homestay was not really taken care of, that's a pity

Lovely homestay in beautiful setting

The homestay is beautifully located among the ricefields, yet everything is closeby; a superb warung is right outside the home and the street leading to the center is just around the corner with lots of restaurants and cool bars with live music. The owners are super friendly and the breakfast was very good. Tee and coffee, fresh fruits and a different egg dish every day through pur 3 nights stay (omelette, pancake and eggtoast). Amazing value for money. The rooms are bright and clean, though there is a little mould on the walls; I suppose due to the location in the moist fields?! Overall a really nice stay and I would definitely return.

Eine Oase der Ruhe inmitten des trubeligen Ubud mit fantastisch hilfsbereiten Gastgebern!

Ein total ruhiger Ort zwischen kleinen Reisfeldern mitten im extrem trubeligen Ubud. Die schönen und sauberen Zimmer haben je eine Terrasse zum schönen Garten. Eine überraschende Oase der Ruhe. Unsere Gastgeber waren fantastisch, sehr, sehr nett, hilfsbereit und weit über das normale Maß unterstützend. Keine 100 Meter entfernt ab 7.30 Uhr hervorragender italienischer Kaffee und eines der besten balinesischen Restaurants Ubuds – abends lange Schlangen (reservieren, wenn möglich). Einfach toll und sehr empfehlenswert! Wir wären so gerne noch länger geblieben!

Einfaches Zimmer in bester Lage zu einem guten Preis.

Eine Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern und einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wer einen netten, sauberen Platz zum schlafen braucht und morgens bei einem kleinen Frühstück auf der Terrasse in den Tag starten will, ist hier genau richtig. Etwas abseits vom geschäftigen Leben der Hauptstraßen hinter einem Reisfeld aber dennoch mittendrin, kann man sich für eine erholsame Nacht zurückziehen ohne lange Wege in Kauf nehmen zu müssen. Die Ausstattung und Badezimmer sind minimalistisch gehalten und in einem sauberen Zustand. Kleine Baumängel sind bei diesem Preis zu übersehen.
