Kaamala Resort & Spa Ubud by Ini Vie Hospitality

Breakfast was lovely, a lot of choice, if anything too much food. But the staff made the experience most special. The local of the dining room was beautiful. Loved all the fresh fruit. All cooked food was very well prepared. As I have said the staff were very special, in no particular order Chandra and Ade in the dining room and at reception was Anggi, Puspa and Diliah, but the housekeeping team even though we did not know their names and other team members such as Wira (our driver) were superb as well.

In our room, the curtain were a bit worn for the class of suite were staying in, Otherwise all very good.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would happily return. The value for money was exceptional, especially considering the quality of the rooms, onsite restaurants and level of service. The staff truly went above and beyond throughout our stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They even organised our scooter hire, including delivery and collection, which made getting around incredibly easy and convenient. The free massage was spectacular and such a wonderful inclusion. Breakfast also far surpassed my expectations, and we loved sitting at the bistro each morning with the beautiful view. The location worked really well for us. We hired scooters, which made exploring the surrounding area easy, although I don't think the location would be quite as convenient if you were relying entirely on a car. For us, though, it was perfect. What we particularly loved was how quiet and romantic the resort felt. It was a wonderful contrast to the busyness of Ubud, while still being well placed for exploring. Overall, the combination of beautiful rooms, excellent food, fantastic staff, thoughtful extras and peaceful atmosphere made this an exceptional stay. We couldn't have asked for more and would absolutely recommend it.

Temporary issues only - the resort is upgrading so access to the gym was not ideal and there was some construction noise during the day. This didn't bother us at all.

The resort is beautiful, in an excellent location close to central Ubud while still surrounded by nature. The room was spacious and stylish, the breakfast was very good, and the staff were consistently kind, attentive and professional. Andre, the Front Office Manager, made a genuine effort to listen to our concerns and assist us.

During our stay, construction work was taking place within the resort, and the noise could be heard from our room during the day. We also experienced limited lagoon access on a couple of occasions due to a technical issue and a photoshoot. However, once we shared our concerns, the management team was very understanding and genuinely did everything possible to improve our experience.
