I would definitely return again!

The hotel is in middle of nature and has good facilities for a relaxing stay! They offer free yoga session in the morning and it’s in a perfect spot that overlooks the small waterfall. The hotel staffs were amazing, friendly and attentive. They greet us with smiles every single day! The ala carte breakfast menu had a great variety and we were spoilt for choice and were even offered a special menu on our last day! I really like the details the hotel put in, such as good morning with my name artwork on my latte each day!

WoW! A magical place to stay , fabulous in every way

We were lucky to stay in a one bed villa with pool, and it was very comfortable , with attention to detail from the bottle openers , to the hats , fresh fruit and cookies , the complimentary daily Afternoon Tea , to the fabulous turn down service complete with new night kaftans and a bed time story each night ! The food was excellent , breakfast was superb, as was the Spa. Most of all it was the warm and friendly welcome and service from each individual staff member that made it special . Every encounter was met with smiles and a willingness not just to help but to go the extra mile . Nothing was too much bother . We loved every minute of our stay , and it’s our favourite place we have ever stayed. It was magical .

A magical place to stay, perfectly situated with incredible amenities and staff.

This property is magical - in a stunning lush setting. The rooms are very large and clean, the pool is serene, and the spa is glorious. The location is also perfect. We walked everywhere- yet also could escape the Ubud chaos in the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive and very professional.

Lovely staff, very welcoming, went above and beyond to please. The rooms are extremely clean with a lovely view of some rice fields.

Very small gripe, we didn’t have any milk powder/UHT/fresh, I’m rather partial to a cup of tea early in the morning. This was however rectified when we requested some.

Best hotel in Bali

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Bali. The staff are amazing and kind and go above and beyond. The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurants but the hotel feels secluded and peaceful. The views from the room are incredible. Room was big and spacious for family for 4. We loved all the little extras like complimentary afternoon tea, unlimited water, activities with our children, local chocolate, snacks and drinks on arrival, morning yoga. Wish we stayed longer.

Incredible resort with top-tier service

Absolutely stunning property with lush landscape, beautifully designed, clean and peaceful. Nothing short of amazing! The staff here are spectacular and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. You really feel pampered and cared for in every way. This resort is a sanctuary just a few minutes walk away from the bustling streets of Ubud. Rooms are very spacious with large bathrooms and very cozy beds. We especially loved the pajamas, bedtime stories and complimentary water and cookies in the room that were refilled daily. The staff are also impressively good at restocking and cleaning the rooms very quickly while you're out of the room.

Perfect Ubud choice

Beautiful setting and phenomenal service. Staff know you by name and are so welcoming and accommodating. There are lots of inclusions, like afternoon tea and cultural activities. The property was quiet and serene despite being in the middle of Ubud. The top pool was the perfect swimming temperature. Despite being a smaller establishment, they offer lots of food choices on their menu. Their coffee was good. The property is an older style, but very well maintained with regular painting/maintenance. They fumigate frequently and we had no problem with mosquitoes or other insects.

The living room in our family suite was a little dark at night and would benefit from a lamp and potentially another television (which is in the bedroom). The decking near the pool would benefit from a refurb, as some boards were quite loose.

Lovely hotel and amazing team

I really enjoyed my stay at Komaneka. The room was lovely, with a big bathroom and plenty of space, and I loved having a balcony with such a nice view. The staff were honestly amazing so friendly, professional, and welcoming, which really made the experience special. The spa was exceptional as well, both the setting and the staff were outstanding. They truly went above and beyond to give us the best experience. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay.

There wasn’t much for my toddler to do at the hotel, so it wasn’t the easiest in that sense for families with little ones. The food was fine but nothing special, breakfast was quite limited. Still, it wasn’t bad, just not as impressive as everything else at the property

Serene views of Ubud. Incredible staff.

Incredible welcome even though we arrived at 2am. The view when you arrive at reception is magnificent. The staff was the highlight of the stay although the views, spa, pool were all incredible too. Perfect stay for a family who wants some calm and serene views of Ubud. Staff looked after us and our baby the whole stay making it unforgettable. Special mentions to Prutawan, Ayu.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! What a beautiful location and views from the room. The place was spotless, the staff could not have been more helpful and interested in ensuring our stay was perfect. The food was lovely and good value in this more upmarket hotel. Afternoon tea was really nice, always different during our 4 night stay. The two swimming pools were lovely. The whole place had such a nice relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The room was really big- a suite with huge bath and separate shower area. Huge comfy bed and large balcony with great views over rice paddy gardens and jungle.

Having to leave! We couldn't fault this place and we've stayed in LOTS of places.

Nestled in the lush jungle just a short stroll from the heart of Ubud, this resort is more than a hotel—it’s a sanctuary for the soul. The views from my suite were absolutely breathtaking. I woke up each morning to the gentle rustle of palm trees and the sight of the forest bathed in golden sunlight. The room itself was spacious and beautifully appointed, blending modern luxury with authentic Balinese design. Every detail—from the deep soaking tub to the handcrafted woodwork—was thoughtfully curated. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the staff. Warm, gracious, and genuinely attentive, they made me feel seen and cared for at every turn. Whether it was the personalized welcome, the turndown notes, or the kind conversations in passing, their hospitality was heartfelt and never forced. I especially loved the infinity pool overlooking the jungle, the peaceful breakfast terrace, and the indulgent spa treatments. There’s something magical about enjoying tea and fruit after a massage while listening to the river below. Komaneka at Bisma gave me the quiet luxury I didn’t even realize I needed. It was the perfect blend of calm, comfort, and connection to nature. I left feeling grounded, restored, and deeply grateful. Would I return? In a heartbeat. This place will forever hold a special place in my memory.

Staff were lovely & so obliging. Everything we needed in the room was supplied to us. The only thing we would recommend is to offer a top sheet on the beds because sometimes with the heat & airconditioning you need only a light covering. A quilt can be too hot even a light one.

“Beautiful Natural Setting, but Comfort Could Be Improved”

The hotel is in a great location, close to the city center and surrounded by restaurants and various services. Its standout feature is its setting in the heart of nature, offering beautiful forest views and lush greenery all around. Naturally, this also means there are many insects and mosquitoes in the area. Overall, the staff were friendly, and the setting is beautiful

While the surroundings are charming, the villa itself doesn’t quite meet 5-star standards. It felt somewhat old, with furniture that showed signs of heavy use and needed updating. The villas would benefit from renovation. During our stay, windy weather caused large branches to fall from the tall trees surrounding the villa. The noise was loud and frightening, especially as it happened late at night, disturbing our sleep and making us feel uncomfortable. Although this was due to natural conditions, hotel management responded with professionalism and care, making an effort to address our concerns but guests should be prepared for the realities of staying in a natural environment.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and the hotel was stunning! The location is ideal—right in the heart of Ubud, yet surrounded by nature, offering both convenience and silence. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and the facilities were modern, well-maintained, and truly outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, providing exceptional service that made us feel so welcome. We loved the peaceful views, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the breathtaking lobby. The pool, the food was amazing, and the morning yoga class at 8:00 AM was a must-do experience! You could easily spend your entire stay here without wanting to leave. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to return!

I stayed at this beautiful tranquil haven with my 90 year old mum and sister and we had the most amazing time. Ade, Mei and their team were so incredibly warm and welcoming.
