After a few days of backpacking around Bali, Pertiwi Resort & Spa felt like a real treat.
The location is excellent, with access from two different roads, which makes getting around Ubud very convenient. At the same time, once inside, the property feels surprisingly peaceful and hidden away from the activity outside.
I especially liked the traditional furniture, character of the property and the sense of history around the place. Learning that heads of state and other prominent guests have stayed here added another interesting layer to the experience.
For the location, space, atmosphere and overall experience, I felt it offered very good value for money. It is one of those places that feels like a hidden gem despite being right in one of the busiest parts of Ubud.
Nothing significant during my stay. After days of moving around and backpacking, I was simply happy to slow down and enjoy the comfort and atmosphere.

Friendly staff. Great facilities! We had a villa with a private pool which was great.
The bed was hard but you got used to it.

beautiful settings
the bed was too hard to sleep on . i checked out 2 nights early a so couldn't sleep at all . my room was also next door to a popular reatfayant . very loud till midnight each night . breakfast was very minimal i found . not much range and often not much food there left .
