While Sri Aksata is in a busy area, once you walk in, it is a quiet and lush respite. The bungalows are spacious, traditionally inspired with updates, and the two pools are fabulous. We have stayed here many times and always felt very satisfied.

Sri Aksata Ubud Resort is located in an ideal and happening area of Ubud, making it very convenient to explore nearby attractions, cafés, and markets. A special mention to Ms. Devi, who was extremely helpful and responsive. Upon our request for a better view, she immediately arranged a room shift to the 2nd floor, from where we enjoyed lovely rice paddy (rice farm) views. Her prompt support made a big difference to our stay. The resort offers excellent value for money, especially considering the location and views. The peaceful surroundings combined with easy access to Ubud town make it a good choice for families and travelers. Breakfast options for vegetarian guests were limited and not fully as expected, but the location and scenic views clearly outweigh this small drawback. Overall, a pleasant stay with a great location, nice views, and supportive staff. I would recommend this property, especially for those looking to stay close to Ubud’s lively areas while enjoying nature views.

Good value for money. A very high quality location,. Very good swimming pools, particularly down below. Now the bad news. The rooms on the northern side facing the padi fields are way too noisy. The sound carries right across the passage way and genuinely disturbed us. The bed was not up to standard. Spring bed that was losing its 'cool' - the most uncomfortable bed I have been in since staying at the Hope and Anchor in Hobart in 1984! Now that's saying something! One reception shift asks us to show them our keys as we walked towards our room. They suspectd we were - ? who knows? robbers? I have never experienced that before. Wif fi poor, but get this - here's the message ' - 'This wifi network uses an older security standard that may not protect you Good news - it was no problem at all for the staff to upgrade us, at no further cost to the more pleasant east side rooms. The staff in general were very nice. Bad news - noise at 6.30am - cleaning right in from of our room. Ok so whats the summary here? Yes, I do recommend. There are a number of not insignificant management issues are pretty much inexcusable (why havnt they updated to a secure internet connection) and design issues, - nothing much can be done about that. So ok I am recommending, but I doubt I will stay here again.
