The location was great, you can walk to many great restaurants and even the Monkey Forest. Set in a jungle like environment, the pools were tranquil and staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The facility is quite old and rooms smells wet.The bathroom needs renovation asap.

We loved our room. Large bathroom and bedroom.
The stairs were a problem for my husband. Going down to our room was ok but going up to the reception area or the pool was tiring

bathroom can be updated a bit, expensive breakfast small portion ( 150k + tax almost 200k ) - secluded quite a walking distance to main road Jalan raya Ubud

We had a good stay at this hotel. The property offers two great swimming pools, which was a big highlight for us. If you’re renting one of the villas near the infinity pool, just be prepared for a lot of steps, but honestly, it’s worth every one of them. The views are stunning, and the jungle sounds around the property create such a beautiful, immersive atmosphere.
One downside was waking up to the yoga class nearby. The group could get a bit loud in the mornings, which wasn’t ideal when trying to sleep in. Location not very central but still walkable even with a little one we were able to do so.
The padded cushions on the sunbeds could definitely use a refresh or a deep clean, and there were a few spots around the hotel that felt like they needed a bit of TLC. That said, we were on holiday and didn’t let the minor wear and tear bother us too much.
Overall, despite a few imperfections, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay.

Ok location
Doors to garden view rooms do not fit properly. Sliding door to balcony couldn’t open without dragging along floor. Comfort chair in room broken. Stairs to garden and pool view rooms are poorly lit and dangerous in the dark and one that is harder for hotel to control, relentless gekko poo in the room including on toilet seat, in shower and at the end of the bed. Ants invade your toothbrush and toiletries like you can’t believe.

Beautiful location, very quiet and beautiful views but still only a short walk to get into the town and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Location is very nice and surprisingly quiet. Between the construction sides and many tourists this place can be a comfortable place to relax.

The bungalow in the jungle and the nature
Breakfast was not great. Very little fruit and other ingredients. No non-dairy options
Bungalow in jungle was nice but room fengshui was terrible. Windows all around and hard to sleep well

A cheap enough stay - get what you pay for so we were happy! It was central but away from the business, nice pools. Rooms are big, cleaned daily, breakfast was fine.
A bit dated, pools could do with a clean.

It was located right over the infinity pool, bathroom in jogolo was huge. The staff at breakfast were brilliant.
The steps down to the jogolo, it’s very steep and takes a really long time to get up and there’s no lightning so quite dangerous.
The room wasn’t the cleanest. There was dust in all the corners, and the shower cubicle has black mould on it.
The shower leaked, all over the floor. The mirrors had dirty marks on them. The sheets and pillows were old and yellowing and had holes in and really need replacing. I used a sarong over the pillow.
There’s a huge cap in the balcony door.
We ordered lunch to be brought down to the tables when we were using the pool one day and it took 1.5 hrs to arrive. We rang twice to chase it, they’d obviously forgotten our order, then when we brought it up at check out we were told we were lying at first before they agreed it did happen and gave us 20% off.

I love staying in the villas. The peace, beauty and tranquility of being positioned on the edge of the jungle. It feels secluded from the busyness of Ubud.

The pool and location.
I was extremely disappointed in the staff member working on May 9th at 4am. We had arranged a taxi to the airport for this day and time the day before. Our taxi did not show up 15 minutes later. We asked the staff working for help if they could call and confirm with our taxi or if he had the number. He told us to wait. We waited in the lobby and watch more rides for tours come, pick up the guests and leave. I asked again for help 10 minutes later as our ride was now 25 minutes late and we had to go to the airport. He again was standing there smoking and wouldn’t help us. We eventually asked one of the drivers who came to the hotel to pick up guests for a tour if he knew anyone who could drive us to the airport. He helped us and called many people as he noted no one was awake at 4:30am. He actually had our ride arranged for us but he couldn’t come until 5am. It was such a stressful morning as we were leaving the country and the hotel was no help. Considering it was 4-5am no one was awake and none of the shops were open so it was a difficult task to manage on our own. Our original ride had never shown up and the staff member never offered to help in any way. It was a very stressful morning.

Our bungalow position looking over the pool. I counted 103 steps from our bungalow up to the front foyer/dining room so obviously not for everyone.
We got a visit from some monkeys one day who entertained us.
Breakfast each morning was lovely.
Maintenance needed, old and tired.
Shower door didn’t seal properly so after every shower the bathroom was flooded.

I only stayed here after a flight so hard to say

The location is perfect in the middle of the jungle, green. Also not far to center, walking distance.
The staff is very helpful, kind.
Everywhere, the pool is clean. 🧹
I am sure they will improve WiFi and tv channels.
Bathroom was old decorated, bathtub is high for elder people or children.
Restaurant tastes should be improved.

Excellent location. The pool was incredible and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The room was a little tired and stuffy, but a comfy bed.

Villas down at The Valley are really nice, beautiful jungle view, fantastic pool not too crowded
I would not recommend the restaurant , unfortunately we went once there for dinner… puh… even the breakfast is hard to stand. The room has just one socket for guests located in the bathroom (ok you can move furniture and get to the TV and fridge sockets)! Not really state of the art…

Pools and location.
Floating breakfast is for additional cost (100000) even if you have breakfast included in price. We do not mind extra cost, just would be nice if it would be advertised!

The staff were amazing
The food was outstanding
The location was great
The rooms are very outdated, some smell musty. The bathrooms need attention , the drainage is poor, the hand shower is challenging -wets the entire bathroom. The fridge is very noisy, had to unplug it to get some sleep.

Great location, good value for money. Amazing pools!

The pool with a view into the jungle is really nice, but the pool water has a lots of chemicals..
The whole place is in a very good location, staff are friendly, rooms are tidy and are cleaned daily, but in general, all the place is quite old and shabby, it seems that the place just needs renovation.
