Kuma House

The property was in a central location, very accessible to a lot of main attractions. Walkable to a lot of destinations

Some parts were a little tired. But that didn’t hinder our stay at all.

Lovely little hotel in a central area in Ubud! Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. AC and wifi worked perfectly. We also really enjoyed the yummy breakfast and swimming pool. Tons of good restaurants and café’s nearby. “Mama Dee” who runs the hotel makes this place so special. She is so incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. You can see the love and care she has for this place and for Bali. I fell ill in Ubud and she went above and beyond to take care of me - providing water, making me ginger tea, getting me medicines, offering food, even taking me to a traditional healer. She is also very helpful if you want to do any tours in the area and provided guidance on travelling within Bali and taking ferries.

Nothing!

I had a very comfortable stay at Kuma House. The location was convenient, the room was pleasant, the air-conditioning worked very well and the Wi-Fi inside the room was reliable. The swimming pool was also nice. The breakfast service was particularly thoughtful: the staff contacted me the previous day to ask what I wanted, prepared it at the requested time and could either deliver it to my room or serve it downstairs. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful with directions and always pleasant to talk to. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable stay with no major complaints.

There was construction happening around the property, although it did not disturb my sleep. Wi-Fi coverage was weaker in some downstairs areas, even though it worked well inside my room. The shower also needed to run for more than a minute before the water became hot. These were minor issues and did not significantly affect my stay.
