Lovely and romantic setting.

There were Monkeys that came and said hi in the morning. 20min walk to the main road, passing many restaurants and shops on your way. The pool was great for the teens. The rooms are in blocks so it meant the family got to be together as we needed 3 rooms.

That we did not get to stay longer than 2 days.

Loved my stay here

Loved the size of my room, upstairs with a nice view .. the monkeys sweating through the hotel every morning was a nice touch . But beware .. secure what you don’t want to share with them .. I was happy staying here and would come again

My first room had a halfway broken shower , second room was better but I missed hot water for a shower .

I like it here and would come back

I personally like the location a lot , a little tucked away from the hustle and bustle of monkey Forrest street . The garden is super nice here and I love the pool down below while watching the monkeys in the morning. The staff is great everyone I’ve met is so friendly .

Made and all of the other staff were so friendly and accommodating to us! The room was perfect and the beds were so comfortable.

Just need soap to be put in there for hand washing but other than that it was top notch

A very nice property for the money. Lovely staff and big rooms , well maintained gardens

The breakfast was fresh and tasty and always served on time and with lovely staff. The location was great especially the little monkeys

You just need to be aware there are many steps on the property and down to the pool. Would have been good to have better seating down at the pool area to enjoy the lovely river views

Bismajaya

Stunning location, quiet and off the road, beautiful garden with jungle feel. Loved the large patio and the kitchen was a bonus! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Comfy bed.

Room smelled mouldy and there was rising damp on the walls. Very basic facilities and services, no water etc. Staff were lovely but could be hard to find and phone was not answered. Had to ask for everything, room turn-down, toilet paper, towels. For the price, I've stayed in much nicer.

The property doesn’t provide breakfast. The location was great just near by other restaurants and shops where you can easily get some good breakfast.

There was a smell maybe caused by humidity (the property is clean though). Maybe installing an AC instead of a fan would be better. There was no mini bar in the room to keep drinks and food cold.

the owner was friendly

it was my worse stay in a guesthouse and actually I checked-out earlier. The room was old and damp. It had holes in the wall, loose electricity cables, the bathroom was dirty. I wasn’t provided with toilet paper, and only with the WiFi code after asking. The staff didn’t really seem to care that I was leaving after I mentioned the shortcomings of the room / stay

Beware of Bed Bugs!

The staff was very helpful and took care of my requests. The breakfast was tasty. The location was about a 15 minute walk from the main street called Jalan Hanoman where the Yoga Barn is located. So if you don't have a motorbike and need to walk this route a few times a day it becomes long and tiring. Plus there is a very small narrow path from Jalan Bisma that leads to Monkey Forest Road that you need to walk through to get to the main streets. This path has no lights and you need to share it with motorbikes. Can be very scary at night and in the rain. Next time I would choose to stay closer to the Yoga Barn.

Bed Bugs! I was in room #12 and got eaten alive by bed bugs. I woke up with approx 40 bites all over my arms, shoulder, back and breasts. I saw a least 3 of the bed bugs in the headboard, where they were living or hiding along with the mattress. You could actually see stains from previous dead bed bugs or their feces on the headboard and sheets. (This was my mistake for not realizing what these were when I checked the room upon arrival). The hotel changed my room when I brought this to their attention. I then moved to room #9 and there were no bed bugs in this room. The hotel said they cleaned room #12 and all was fine. I believe they did clean room #12 but I don't think they understand that you need to get rid of the bed and the mattress in order for the bugs to go away. I don't think the hotel can afford to do this. Anyway, beware of room #12.

Nja, skulle välja annat hotell nästa gång.

Det var hyfsat centralt. En liten promenad ifrån Monkey Forest åt ena hållet och Ubud palace åt andra hållet. Och det var även apor utanför rummet.

Jag hade bokat ett superior rum men närvar kom fick jag ett rum med lägre status. Badkaret höll inte tätt. När jag påpekade att jag bokat ett annat rum fick jag bara till svar att det var fullt på de rummen. Badkaret kom en kille och tittade på men han gjorde inget åt det. Det var smutsigt i badrummet och papperskorgen till toapapper var väldigt skitig. Det var många trappsteg ner till rummet hotellet låg i sluttningen i en ravin. Jag upplevde personalen som nonchalant. De kanske bara hade en dålig dag… nåja jag bokade ett annat rum som jag flyttade till för att sova/bada bättre/trevligare men behöll detta att använda dagtid när jag åkte in för att turista i Ubud. (Eftersom rummet redan var betalt).
