Great centrally located hotel within a peaceful quiet setting

We stayed at Jati 3 10 years ago and we came back to it. It is halfway between the monkey forest and the market. Easy to walk to both. Fabulous restaurants all over the place. The hotel is about 70 meters off the main drag so it is super quiet, and peaceful. Some of the rooms are on a river. Nice pool and breakfast. The staff is very attentive and will help you with anything you need.

Highly recommended for solo travellers

I had a Deluxe room (nr.31.) on the top floor, with pool view. The room is very spacious, and bright with a balcony. AC and wifi were also fine! During my 3-weeks stay in Bali this was my favorite accommodation. As a solo traveller it was important to be in the centre to have restaurants in walking distance, but I also wanted to have a space to relax and chill. The setting of the property has a perfect combination of these at a very reasonable price! I booked only 2 nights, but have extended with 3 more. (The breakfast I did not try but there are severat restaurants nearby where you can eat.) There is also a very good, clean and cheap (Balinese massage 60min at 130.000 IDR) in the next street what I can highly recommend: Melya Dewi Spa. I was there 3x times!

There is a night club nearby and the live music can be heard in the evening, however they are playing only until 11.00pm.

Whilst being basic accommodation, it was very comfortable, quiet and the staff were lovely. The pool was nice to have some down time. Prime location for walking around and picking up a ride to get around. Would definitely stay here again!

Really close to lots of restaurants and shops, the monkey forest and market. I liked seeing the monkeys in the morning.

The path/ alley to access the property wasn’t very pleasant, it was unlit and there was often small creatures such as frogs and snails there in the evening.

Access from road is through a narrow alley. Your bags will be left outside and then you’ll have to drag them in. All good on a sunny day, but when it rains :) if travelling with people with walking issues, then know that there will be steps.

The outside area was beautiful! Staff were so friendly and the hotel is super central and a short walk to most attractions.

The showers had very low pressure and the shower heads need to be cleaned (lots of the holes that water comes out of are blocked)

A place that feels like home

I stayed here for two weeks and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The rooms are spacious, the pool is amazing, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Most of all, the staff is absolutely wonderful: always smiling, attentive and genuinely caring. They made my stay truly special. Thank you so much Dewa C for the great conversations ! I traveled solo and I had a wonderful time at Jati 3 Bungalows. The location is outstanding, the pool area is beautiful and very relaxing, the room are nice and and the staff were always kind and helpful. The atmosphere feels authentically Balinese and peaceful.

A few things to note: there are a lot of monkeys in the area, so make sure you always close your doors with the key, 2 of them successfully opened my terrace door. :D The walls are quite thin so you can hear noise from outside, and a blackout curtain would make the room more comfortable in the mornings.

The bed setup with only a sheet was quite uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult, as well as a very hard mattress. We also found it upsetting having to walk past the caged pigeons every day. Seeing large birds kept in small cages was distressing, especially having to pass by several times a day. I understand this may be common locally but it did impact the overall/daily experience.

The first night we were in a very difficult access room for my father with mobility issues. Under ground, it was a problem with communication they didn't see my request. They moved us next day. Also de entry is long distance from the street. Doesn'took good but inside is really beautiful.

Nice hotel but very noisy

Has a really good Bali vibe and nice pool. The view from the room balcony was awesome.

Is on a really busy street, with a lot of pubs that have live music and/or loud music. Forget about sleeping before midnight even with earplugs. Also I was not lucky with other residents, different groups at different stages on my stay, very unconsidered as they talked loudly in the hallway and balcony and slamming doors until 2am or even later. I did not sleep well any night!

Great location in central Ubud, close to cafes, restaurants, entertainment and shopping.

Staying upstairs in the front of the property meant that there was noise from neighbouring music venues at night. I would recommend requesting a room by the pool.

I had a great stay at Jati 3 Bungalows! The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly they even gave me my last breakfast for free. Big thanks to Deva for guiding me on places to visit. I also rented a Scoopy from them, which made exploring easy. Highly recommend this place for its cleanliness, hospitality, and great service!

Affordable, relaxing property with adventure tour options

A beautiful small resort , only a short walk to the Main Street , quiet and private , helpful, friendly staff who organised us a driver who was amazing . Lots to see and do in beautiful Ubud , great affordable places to eat in the Main Street and breakfast is available at the resort. If you are looking for very reasonable price accommodation in Ubud this place is it .

We had a lovely stay

Being down a long laneway we were well away from the chaos of Monkey Forest Road but close to every amenity- shops, spas, restaurants etc. The staff were really lovely and were very vigilant in getting rid of the monkeys that visited every morning.

The noise from the two live music venues close by was very loud if you are an early to bed person but it did stop at 11pm. We were up 3 flights of very steep stairs - difficult for senior knees!

the shower needed a thorough cleaning. It smelled bad and the floor was slick because it hadn’t been cleaned. The toilet also not clean and smelled bad. Pool water was very acidic.

Lovely, friendly staff. Extremely helpful. It was really nice to stay in a family place where the went on with their normal lives despite having guests walking by all the time.

We are very happy with our stay and have no complains . We are glad we choosed this one and can recommend it to others.

We had the whole bedroom view towards the monkey forest. We stayed 5 nights and the monkey were a part of our everyday there which the kids liked. We made friends with one of the staff Dewa who was such a great and helpful person. It was close to the Yoga barn.

That you have to go through the whole traffic jam to get out of Ubud.

Lovely place with some shortfalls.

I loved the spacious room and balcony with the huge overhangs that made sure that even when it rained you could still sit on the balcony. Staff, the breakfast and pool is wonderful. I wished they had more sun loungers as there are often quite a queue of people who are waiting to get one when others do a towel reserve. 6 sun loungers is not enough or at least there should be 1-2 provided on each balcony to relax as the chairs are not comfy.

Unfortunately the location is so central, that the noise level in the evening is too loud to try and find sleep before midnight. The bar next door has daily live gig’s which start at 8pm and finish at midnight. I found this difficult to adjust too however for someone who is a night owl, this may be perfect.

Pleasant stay, beautiful gardens and pool, close to monkey forest, restaurants, shops and cafe's.

The gardens and pool area were lovely. The room was large and spacious. Felt safe and had a beautiful family vibe.

We had 3 rooms in total and our children's room was very far from ours. We tried to change this but they didn't have availability. Our room was quite dark. The bathrooms need re-doing and/or deep cleaning.

Family Holiday

The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. We loved that the monkeys ran along our balcony but didn’t interfere with us at all. The river added an ambience. Pool was clean and deep and Cool, refreshing. The hotel is situated down a little path, close to laundry services, and lots of amazing eateries. There is also a silver place across the road. Great location

The waterfall down the stairs when it rained and the breakfast. We opted out of the breakfast and went elsewhere.
