A fantastic stay with excellent staff, great facilities, and a really enjoyable atmosphere — highly recommended

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always happy to help and make the stay as comfortable as possible. There were plenty of free activities available, including some hosted by external instructors, which made the atmosphere very fun and social. The room was modern, very clean, and had comfortable double bunk beds. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided, and the room was cleaned daily. The pool area was lovely, and the food was really good, especially breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. The staff were AMAZING. So kind and helpful, friendly and you could talk to them about anything, I got bitten by mosquitos one night and was worried about dengue and the lady on reception calmed my nerves. They also helped me apply sun cream to my back as I couldn’t reach. They were so sweet and smiley. The actual room was lovely, well aired. Kept clean everyday. Enough space. Bed was so comfy. The ladies I shared with were amazing, slept so well every night. It attracts peaceful clientele. The cacao ceremony was fantastic, I cried and felt good. Yoga was good, just early but too hot to do it later in the day. The Bali experience and indo night was fun. Day trip was amazing, would recommend day trip definitely. I would recommend. You won’t regret staying.

Exceptional!

This place exceeded my expectations in every way! everything was clean asf, the beds were spacious, pool was lovely, the staff were also kind! i rly appreciated the daily yoga sessions and massages too! Met the most amazing people I will remember forever, 11/10 I had such a magical time there!

Magical, lovely stay! Highly recommend it!

Wonderful setting! warm, inviting, lush greenery, small property. Close to great food, entertainment, culture, and shopping. Monkeys from the forest hangout nearby each morning so beware of leaving anything outdoors lol. This is a lovely place and I highly recommend it! I had a private room with bathroom, upstairs with a balcony. There is no elevator but staff will carry your bags.

The exterior of property and entire front building are under repair due to a fire so the curb appeal is lacking and it’s a little hard to find the place. Once you walk down a hallway through to the main entrance it then opens into a lovely courtyard.

Amazing

Beautiful place to stay, really chilled and very well looked after/clean. Staff were fantastic, breakfast was lovely with the choice to upgrade for a small cost if you wanted more choice. Daily massages, manicure/pedicure & yoga/meditation was a great added bonus. Location was great with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Also very close to monkey Forrest which was a plus. Overall fantastic stay and would recommend 100%

It’s not necessarily what I didn’t like about the place, but you just have to be aware of the monkeys if you’re eating by the pool. Although staff are often around to clear them away ☺️

Completely different from the photos.

Great location

I walked into the room after arriving and was shocked because it looked completely different from the photos. As soon as I opened the door, I smelled a musty, damp odor, and my bed was a bunk bed separated from the bathroom by only a thin wall. The sink was located outside the bathroom (meaning inside the room). The locker was made of several overlapping wooden slats that didn’t look sturdy at all. The room was also small. Because of the smell, humidity, dampness, cramped space, and overall appearance being nothing like the photos, I felt I couldn’t stay even a single night, so I requested a refund just 30 minutes after checking in. If I hadn’t received a refund, this trip could have been completely ruined.

Perfect place for female solo travelers

I LOVED my stay. Traveling to Bali was my first time solo traveling and I was so nervous. I am so relieved that I came to Arya Wellness first. As soon as I arrived I was instantly calmed. The space is incredible, beds are comfy, and food is delicious. The best part though is the staff and other girls. Everyone is so friendly and open its so easy to make friends. There are also tons of activities to choose from that are included so you don't have to stress about planning.

Great experiences with Arya Wellness.

The breakfast and massage services was amazing. Staffs are very friendly I have a very smooth check in and check out. They even provided me and my friend to have our breakfast take away during our last stay because we was in hurry to catch ferry.

The staircase gaps for upper bed access are big, it's not so friendly to Asian's height.

The hotel water was out of service. Can you imagine going to toilet without water? And at night when we sleep, the toilet ventilation is bad so there is bad smell in the room.

Loved this place - really clean, beautiful, very helpful staff and sooo many free activities! Almost felt like a small boutique hotel rather than a hostel.

Amazing breakfast and activities included!!!

Absolutely loved all the yoga and activities. The staff were always amazing and welcoming . They have a lady in the afternoons that does mani and pedi’s for free and she was so good. I also got the most amazing treatments at their sister company Inka Spa for a discount.

Very central, all staff knows you by name, lots of events every day included. Tasty breakfast. Quiet place.

Perfect for solo traveler

I had a really good time there spending my 30th birthday alone. People there was so welcoming and genuinely kind. They even prepared birthday surprise for me (which then I knew was requested by my husband) haha but still they were so sweet and always have a nice smile on.

Hmm it’s a female dormitory hostel, but there’s male workers working there. Even tho personally I don’t mind but probably something you’d like to take note on

Best wellness hostel in Ubud

Personal!!!! 1000/10. So kind and friendly! They saved my stay in Ubud! First of all they allowed me to stay in one dorm with my 3 other friends (I booked it in the very last moment). They were ALWAYS kind and helpful! And they allowed me to keep my suitcases for more than 24 hours after even when I wasn't their guest anymore. THANK YOU!

Cosy stay with great people!

+ The staff was great! + The setting and atmosphere were nice and cosy. + I felt very safe + A big plus were the free massages, yoga, manicure and pedicure. + It was nice that the hostel arranged excursions and workshops. + breakfast was tasty!

- The construction work in front of the building. - There were gaps in the door and the bathroom was not closed off, there were some mosquitos in our private room. - The shower drain needs some plumbing.

Everything! Staff, amenities, social and wellness activities, all the lovely travellers! Arya makes it very easy for solo travellers to connect with other people and staff is super helpful and lovely. I’ve ended up extending my stay twice because I loved it so much

I booked solo room, it was quite pricey considering the fact that it was a hostel- I did not get extra amenities/conaiderstion-none of the staff offered to assist me with luggage gojng up and down the outdoor stairs -the bathroom was dirty and needs to be cleaned and updated immediately - also there is major construction at the front of the building that I was not warned about until a day or two before, and it was so noisy and more importantly all of the debris that made airborned and likely inhaled when entering and exiting the hotel

The PERFECT place to stay for a female solo traveller. So unique and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and the constant free activities are amazing. Met some amazing friends here and would 100% return.

A little sanctuary in the heart of ubud

I felt at home right away. Everyone is so kind, open, friendly - staff and guests. It’s small enough that you can get to know people without it feeling overwhelming and at the same time you never feel alone. A little sanctuary in the heart of ubud. I am so glad I booked Arya :)

Great location, spacious double beds, lovely room decor and nice staff. They have daily activities and spiritual programs; yoga, sound therapy etc. Free breakfast was nice. Daily 15mins massage from the therapist was fantastic and also the other lady doing basic file and paint.

It was very noisy, during the day because of traffic and construction work on the property, I think they expanding the front and during the night because of bars/clubs playing music into the night, sometimes to 1am, it was difficult falling asleep.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in

The staff were so friendly including the reception, kitchen, and beauty therapists! It was like living in Barbie’s dream house - ALL the girls were there for the same reason - to just be girls! The hostel itself is so aesthetic, the beds are super comfortable, and there’s so many spots to chill out. There are plenty of activities in and outside the hostel too. Would come back again and again!

This place the staff are INCREDIBLE!!! They remember you from 6 months ago, they are sooo kind, and the services you get staying here are amazing!!! I always meet sooo many people, am always made to feel soo welcome. They always go above and beyond and the extra offers like the yoga, cacao ceremonies, sound healings, movie nights, day trips all make this place amazing. It is in the best location too :)

We stayed with a girl who was filthy so for our stay recently the shower was a bit gross, but nothing the staff could have done differently. But have been there before and had amazing clean roommates so still worth it.
