Peaceful excellent staff nice air conditioned room great breakfast several excellent restaurants close by. Cars can’t get there so call the hotel for a scooter to pick up you and your bags. A little hard to find initially but worth it to escape the mayhem of the Main Street.

Lovely surrounding for those nature lovers and interested to support the locals. They are a really welcoming staff and will handle all the needs to make the stay comfortable. Master green banana pancakes.

It is hidden gem, only accessible by motorcycle or by foot. Even tough, the staff already has the logistic to make it approachable once booked.

Great location, private and comfortable room, lovely genuinely friendly staff who were also helpful and very good at their jobs. They did their work happily, sometimes laughing and singing in an unintrusive way. They were a great team.

Very chill hotel, nice to explore away from the main roads.

Great staff they were super helpful, the bed is a big hard but everything was very nice, the breakfast was yummy. It’s a bit off the beaten track and a bike is almost a must for getting around.

A divinely relaxing place to stay

Heavenly accommodation. In a lovely, quiet peaceful location, yet a short walking distance from the main shopping streets. Our room was exceptional; spacious and tastefully decorated with wonderful views. The pool and breakfast area were also beautiful places to spend time. The staff were friendly and accommodating, I really can’t imagine better service. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy.

A quiet peaceful getaway which will always have a special place in my heart!

A lovely place in all respects. When we left it for a couple of days to visit Canggu, we were SO relieved to come back to the serene quietness of this villa! The staff is exceptionally welcoming and ready to accommodate your needs. The towel art they left each time after cleaning our room had us in stitches 😁 the room is spacious, with a large bathroom and plenty of storage space. There's also a terrace with stunning nature views and a mini fridge. A pool was always empty and I was able to have it for myself on a couple of occasions. Breakfast is served each morning 8-10am and is quite varied (you can order from a menu) When we ordered a transfer to the airport, the staff met us on time as agreed, took care of our luggage and delivered us comfortably. I'll certainly miss the incessant buzz of insects and frogs, a constant soundtrack of our vacation!

Lovely place with lovely people

The location is perfect if you want to still have easy access to the centre but want peace and quiet. The staff are so friendly. I didn’t even realise but they were saving me fruit when my lazy self slept through breakfast. Genuinely lovely!

A magical place.

Breakfast was simple but with several options. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really accommodating with any privacy requests and flexible with room cleaning times.

I wasn’t fully aware that the property wasn’t accessible by car and that I would need to be met on the road and myself and my luggage taken up by motorbike. This wasn’t an issue and was sorted out with a phone call from my driver. Staff were quickly on hand to ensure a smooth transition.

Exceptional Hospitality and Scenic Stay Near Campuhan

I had a great break thanks to Alit and his team. Everything was great -- pristinely clean room, picturesque view, simple and substantial breakfast. I think what sets it apart is the genuine care of the people. Little things like sending the visa and customs forms prior to arrival, plenty of heads up on what to expect, practical and realistic recommendations on activities to do, and even preparing a quick meal on the go. My favorite is how it is so accessible to Campuhan Ridgewalk, Ubud Yoga House, silvermaking shops, etc and you can easily get 15k steps a day without noticing it. So lovely!

I love the 10 to 15 min walk to the center, especially in the mornings. At night time it gets a little scary especially some parts can get really dark and the roads are narrow. The staff usually offers scooter rides anyway 🙂 I feel so sad leaving the place after spending 4 nights there.

Provision of a few bicycles to get around would be very helpful, also some Indonesian savoury options on the breakfast menu - why does no one offer Nasi Campur for breakfast like you can get in the remote areas of Bali?

A hotel in a peaceful and charming location

All of the staff were friendly and kind, which made me feel very welcome. The room was clean, and I especially loved the view of the greenery through the large windows. The surrounding environment was beautiful — the rice fields were especially soothing and brought a sense of calm. There are many cafes and dining spots nearby, and it’s within walking distance to the town center. There are also hiking trails around, making it a wonderful location overall.

Totally overvalued and with misleading information

The probability of no one picks you up on arrival and you ending carrying up your luggage to the hotel is high even if you communicate your arrival time before. Actually um 2 days I never seen anyone on the reception. I felt like I am in a ghost hotel. Be aware of rice cycle before booking or you can end paying extra for upper floor view and there is no rice view I also do not get lucky with the noise, they were fixing things and I was not able to rest. Breakfast starts at 8am that can be late for those as me who need to leave early on tour because of the traffic and queus at the tourist attractions, never able to eat before leaving or ask for a box option because I never found anybody to ask there is no possibility of have dinner at the hotel and the options near by are very limitated due to isolated location of the hotel

The staff were all so kind and gentle. A team of young men. But they kept out of the way, not bothering you and there with a smile when needed. A very relaxed atmosphere. Close to where I was completing training so it was easy on foot to get around. Away from the hustle of main Ubud and surrounded by the Rice Paddies and nature. My room was spacious - beautiful view. Always cleaned and everything I needed. Wifi amazing (helpful when work things came up!!) Staff always happy to help. Great laundry service too without a very strong smelling detergent used which I prefer. I ran out of cash otherwise I would’ve tipped a lot! It’s not 5 star luxury. Food is basic at breakfast but decent. Egg omelette, fruit, toast etc. but helpful to have some lovely food before starting a big day.

Wonderful stay

The location is perfect away from the crowded and busy Main Street but not so far that you can’t walk. The walk is perfect because you have the two best places to eat on the way. Pukako for breakfast and lunch and then monkey bar just after for dinner the best food you’ll eat! Room was stunning and perfect for watching the sunset. Pool was lovely and refreshing too

Lovely staff and clean room, but surroundings fell short

The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the breakfast was tasty, and the small pool was a nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable, which we really appreciated.

We knew the location would be harder to reach, but we chose it for the promised view of the rice fields. Unfortunately, this time the fields didn’t look as expected, which was disappointing. Given the lack of scenery and the difficult access, it didn’t feel worth the price overall.

Amazing cozy homestay in Ubud

We’ve stayed here twice now—once in 2024 for 17 nights, and again this year for almost a week—and we’ll definitely be coming back. The facilities are excellent, with clean and spacious rooms that have a charming Balinese style. The surrounding views are stunning, with rice fields and coconut trees making you feel immersed in nature. The staff are wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always accommodating. A truly relaxing and memorable stay.

One thing to note is that the walk from Ubud center to the homestay is a bit long and only accessible by foot or motorbike. Personally, we don’t mind it.

I loved everything about Nirwa. The location is just perfect. Calm and beautiful in the rice field but still close to the main road. This is your perfect guest house with a great value for money. The staff is so kind and helpful and the breakfast really nice. I really miss this place and will defiantly come back.

This was a beautiful location away from all of the noise and crowds yet close to all you need.

It was a quiet and beautiful oasis in an area that can be very loud and busy. The service was great and everything was clean. The rooms were spacious and we had a lovely patio area with both of our rooms. We had a delicious breakfast here every morning and they provided water each day in our rooms.

It would have been nice to have hand towels.

Peaceful surroundings for relaxing

I really enjoyed my stay at Nirwa Ubud Karma. The room was spacious and perfect for me as a solo traveller. I was on the ground floor and had a huge balcony which was private with a lovely tropical view. The furniture is so beautiful with lovely traditional wood and property is very clean. The property is in quiet location a ten minute walk from Ubud town which was very noisy with traffic so I’m so glad I picked Nirwa Ubud Karma as it was relaxing after being in the town. Plus just a couple mins walk you can find many cafes, restaurants and spas for a massage. I had one of the best massages at Serenity spa, and I went 3 times to Monkey Bar & Restaurant because the food was amazing!! They had Indonesian and western food. Pukako was also great for brunch or coffee and to work from on my laptop. There are yoga places and an art gallery close by too. The staff at Nirwa picked me up by scooter and brought my luggage as you can only access Nirwa by foot or scooter, you do get use to the walk and just have to be aware at night and listen for scooters at one of the corners, it was really easy. The staff are really kind and friendly and I had breakfast every morning and it was very simple choices and delicious. I would definitely recommend Nirwa Ubud Karma and go back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The staff! They’re all amazing! Very friendly! Thank you for the all the help with our luggage’s! I really like the location as well as it is in a very quiet neighbourhood of ubud! The rooms are big and clean! The view from the terrance is amazing! feels like you rented a whole house. It’s very cozy!

Big Great!

An astonishing location in Ubud. Just outside of the daily buzz of the major roads. But in a 10 minute walk you're on the mainstreet. From there another 5 to 10 minutes to the nicer roads. From the mainstreet there is a small road to the hotel, with lots of scooters passing by. Took a bit of time to get used to, but it's ok. I strongly recommend using grab sxooter taxi. It's super easy to grab a grab or gojek bike ride from the hotel to anywhere in ubud. The views are very nice. You're located in the middel of rice fields. The garden is beautiful. Personel is friendly and helpfull. They give great recommendations for sightseeing and also good tips for the wandering travellers without a solid plan. Swimming pool is a nice plus, especially because I just arrived here in Bali straight from the cold Netherlands. To cool down in the pool after a day full of adventure and sweety temperatures is just great.

Little gem in the heart of the rice fields

There isn’t anything not to like about this beautiful guesthouse situated in the middle of the rice fields. If you are a nature lover you should be staying here. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was extremely polite. I really enjoyed staying here and I also extended my stay how much I loved it. There are lots of yoga studios and good coffee shops around If you like practicing. Waking up to the sound of nature and the view over the rice fields was a great experience.
