Clean, friendly & helpful staff, near city centre, walking distance, worth it. 100% recommended

The room are very spacious, very clean. The place is secluded, away from the noises and all the staff are very accommodating and helpful. Special shout out to Ngurah for being extra helpful during my stay. It is also located in the centre of ubud with walking distance to main attractions.

Its kind of hard to get vehicle into the stay compound as there were vendors along the streets all the way to the stay. It was raining quite heavily when i arrive but fortunately with Ngurah's help navigating the driver, i am able to get into the stay compound safely and dry.

A great option for Ubud!

The location is great, close to everything but the property itself is very quiet and we hear no noise from the street. Their rooms are spacious, the view is great, the rooms are clean, no bad odour and no insects. The staff is extremely friendly, and they can help with booking tours or motorbike rental.

Great location.

Superb location and great pool. Very large room with a great balcony and a comfortable bed. The bathroom in the poolside room is huge and the hand shower had good pressure.

Although there was a huge bath tub, it was not operational, and the hand basin taps did not work well. There are only two sun loungers by the pool.

Everything, amazing garden, pool, friendly and supportive staffs

Perhaps the walking path to downstair might be a bit slope to the elders as I traveled with parents during rainy season, but not a big issue as we just need to pay more attention, dry season wouldn't raise any concern

Lovely quiet hotel situated minutes away from the centre of Ubud

Lovely quiet hotel located minutes away from bustling Ubud. Large comfortable room next to a lovely swimming pool. Very reasonably priced with friendly staff. The hotel had it’s own spa with reasonably priced massages.

I definitely recommend staying here.

We were a group of 11 women, each in our own room and we all loved staying here. The location is perfect, far enough away from the noise and the busyness of the main ubud roads yet very close to everything we needed..shops, market, walks, restaurants and bars. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. We loved the two pools too.

Lovely relaxing accommodation with great staff.

Beautiful accommodation close to everything but tucked away down lane way very peaceful. Every member of staff where friendly and welcoming. Breakfast delivered to your balcony was a nice touch. Lovely grounds with small pool.

The deck around the pool is in need of some maintenence. Just be aware that taxis can't always excess the property. The lane leading to the property is very narrow. We where lucky as we arrived in the evening so our driver was able to take us to the door

The location was amazing, in a very walkable Arwa close to shops and the market. The staff were friendly and willing to help with anything we needed.

The rooms weren’t as clean as they could have been; I had to go and ask for new sheets because mine appeared dirty. There was no ventilation in the bathroom and you could see mildew in the bathroom area. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned and go and get toilet paper as my room wasn't stocked.

Good stay, perfect location!

We didn’t take the breakfast option as it was separate, but the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were also very flexible with the motorbike rental, which made getting around easy. Laundry service was excellent as well. We really loved the location of The Tunjung Ubud Retreat – it’s perfect, close to the center but peaceful and quiet. The room was very spacious, with a beautiful bathroom featuring heart-shaped stones in the shower.

The only downside was a slight musty smell, which is common in Bali.

Perfect location and great place

Excellent location - quiet at night but close to the main streets and restaurants and shops etc. Large room and good bathroom, all kept well cleaned. Staff are attentive and brilliant - will help with anything needed

Nothing significant. Could do with a few more hangers for clothes storage and a couple of the boards by the pool are rotten so take care. For me though, there wasn’t anything that needs to change

Overall, an incredible stay. A home away from home, the best staff!

We had an excellent time in The Tunjung Ubud. The staff are incredible, they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive and go above and beyond for their guests. They will feel like friends by the time you leave! An excellent location, right in the heart of Ubud, while also very peaceful at night. They look after everything from laundry to taxis to organising tours - one stop shop for everything you need. Very clean room. Nice pool area.

It is Ubud and surrounded by the jungle so except bugs to be around the hotel but I would imagine this is the same as everywhere in Ubud. Small lizards got into our room for 3 nights of our stay with the staff have excellent lizard catching skills and sorted it promptly. We found there to be no issues with lizards in our room when we turned off the balcony light outside the room for the last couple of days of our stay.

Comfortable in the heart of Ubud.

The garden room was comfortable, situated in very nice gardens. We enjoyed the pool. Breakfast (extra, not included) was good and enjoyed at the room.

We were terrified to drive through a pedestrian market to reach the hotel. This problem was not highlighted in any of the descriptions. Reconsider if you arrive by car.

I can’t compliment the Tunjung Ubud Retreat enough. Located in the heart of Ubud. Great location. Set in a beautiful surrounding, the place is well done. The room, the pool, the service, great breakfast) the staff could not have been more attentive and wonderful! I recommend it highly!

Great room, balcony, staff and location make this a perfect choice for staying in Ubud.

The ensuite room and attached private balcony overlooking the pool and landscaping was great. Everything worked fine, A/C, ceiling fan, frig, hot water. The staff are also friendly and attentive, and it is a family run place that we have been returning to for years. The location allows you easy access into the downtown, while going to the ricefields is just a walk in the opposite direction, as easily convenient. Recommended.

A power socket over each bedside table for plugging in devices for charging would be nice to have, but that is minor.

Amazing staff, very helpful in every way , we where upstairs but with my bad foot they found another room for us on ground floor that just spectacular , close to shops and restaurants also the art market and water temple all in walking distance , has its own spa place on the premises which was also fantastic.
